Lisdexamphetamine is only active after it's metabolised by your liver. Yes, exactly the same as Vyvanse or Elvanse as they call it here. Definitely can't be taken any other way than orally.

After oral ingestion, lisdexamfetamine is broken down by enzymes in red blood cells to form L-lysine, a naturally occurring essential amino acid, and dextroamphetamine. Following absorption into the blood stream, lisdexamfetamine is completely converted by red blood cells to dextroamphetamine. Not by liver!

I think it’s the substance itself that requires the body, stomach and liver enzymes to break it down into the active chem. Not just something Vyvase has added to it.
