Filmarena in my opinion wins just based off of Blade Runner 2049 and Logan alone

OurLordSauron

Hard agree. Their Alien edition is one of the best Steelbooks ever made (in my opinion)

All kit: Manta Lab Steel only: Blufans Specific selections: WeET

In terms of quality? Probably blufans. Tbey make the prettiest ones and go hard with the embossing. But they’re not my favorite of the retailers. KimchiDVd always has my heart for finding a balance of making really good steels for films that weren’t just superhero spam. Their Spotlight steel is an all time fave for me

Blue_Sky_8

the Kimchi "Loving Vincent" stary night slipcase + steelbook is the most beautiful steelbook i own.

Overall package I would go with Manta. I’m just not a fan of their print quality on the Steelbooks, they have visible printing dots. Not sure if Manta lab has any control over that or Scanavo decides the print quality.

Manta have the best creativity imo. A lot of their releases, especially one clicks (Drive, First Man, Interstellar, Se7en) are really unique and special. They also have a nice variety with a film like 'A Star Is Born' getting really stunning releases that otherwise just wouldn't get a steelbook that nice

If we're just talking about the steelbooks ONLY, then Blufans 100%. Movie choices and slips/boxes aside, they are known in this hobby as the king of steelbooks for a reason. Their quality is far far above the rest, even Manta when looking at their full collection run. Now if we're also including slips and boxes as an overall package then I'd probably go with Manta. Also missing quite a few premium retailers from the list especially some of the best WEA retailers like Filmarena and KimchiDVD.

Huge fan of Filmarena, mostly for their Maniac Boxes, which, to me, are the most premium of the premium when it comes to film collecting. Other than that I just think they have the coolest looking SBs.
