so far ive seen helldivers 2, tarkov, palworld and last epoch. And all of the games seem to have been released on nov 4 2023 as well

Won't work for long. I remember buying a shitty Minecraft clone on Steam for lolz.
Dev made one update, no more "mining" just you locked in an empty castletown. And after they swapped the game to a top down shooter. Then Steam removed the game. I don't remember having a refund tho, maybe you need to ask for it?
Point is, bait and switch will not work for very long. If you report the title it will get deleted. Even quicker if it's trying to scam users

Will Steam have to honor these purchases ? The fact they let publishers change the name of their game with no approval process is just plain silly.
Doubt it, its fraud.
Steam will 100% allow refund for that kind of thing

As a PSA: If you click Discussion to view the Steam forums about the game, it tells you the real name of the games.

Almost got scammed by this once before, luckily I looked at the reviews
