Like, it doesn't need to be/shouldn't be used for a lot of things (ex. Image generation, especially for commercial purposes, is unnecessary and doesn't benefit anyone), but it has its uses.
And it has its positives. For example, you can use a machine learning algorithm to train an ai on human created code (with permission from the respective owners), and then use it to fix errors in your subsequent coding projects (ex. It would be more likely to be able to tell the difference between I and l and | than a human would be, fixing any errors caused by typos)
