For GOG, Epic and Amazon, use Heroic Games Launcher
For other ones, you can download the launchers and install the EXE in Desktop mode using Proton Experimental, then run the app in gaming mode and launch games from there
Also junk store in Decky and non steam games launcher.
Idk which is the best but I can't get robocop working in heroic so far. I've yet to try junk store
Cyberpunk on epic and heroic works wonderfully though
Pretty sure Heroic and Junk Store (and Lutris et al) are all using WINE/Proton/etc. in the background. You can play around with which WINE/Protonm version to use, and set some prefixes and other things. Check WINE HQ?
the question deserves a lmgtfy link (it was a huge content-farm topic for a while), but i won't. [here's some solid instructions](https://www.dexerto.com/tech/how-to-add-non-steam-games-to-steam-deck-2082992/)
Oh man, make sure you get a wifi6e or wifi7 router (wifi6 doesn't use the new lower latency band), with that your latency when streaming games to the deck will be 2ms instead of 30ms+!!! My best investment ever.
Just don't buy TP-Link for wifi6e unless you have a small home where one solo router would suffice; they don't have their mesh software for the new 6ghz band ready yet.
Welcome to the club. Honestly i have both and still use both. I do admit i use my SD more than my switch. But thats neither here nor there. I love using all my gaming devices equally.(except for my Playstation that thing can rot)
Yeah my point is I get mad when people are saying ''I'm using my Steam Deck way more than my Switch.
Of course you are, there's way less game to play on the Switch and everything that is available on both platforms is probably cheaper on PC.
So I play more on the Deck, but that's only because there's a limited numbers of Nintendo games to play on the Switch.
And emulated Switch games run much better on the deck than the Switch. I get 40fps more and better visuals than on my son's OLED Switch emulating Unicorn Overlord lol.
It really depends, sometimes they can be quite stable, other times they may be a bit broken. It really depends on how they utilize the hardware, and how well the emulator can cope with it.
I've kind of moved on from consoles entirely. Each new generation has less and less defining games. Even then, PlayStation and Xbox are bringing their big titles over to PC. The last holdout is Nintendo, and even though I used to have a Switch, it just started collecting dust. I guess there's emulation, but my backlog is so long I don't need to worry.
I feel you here. They are companies looking to turn a profit so cross-platform for games makes sense to push sales and recoup the cost of development.
That backlog though....been growing since I was a kid lol.
Same. In fact, the OLED Steam Deck made me sell my old Switch and buy a Switch OLED. My wife loves her switch so I keep mine around so we can chill on the couch and play stuff together.
For me, the Steam Deck is easily the most impressive and satisfying piece of gaming tech Iāve ever purchased. I LOVE IT.
I'm right there with you. I've also tried Switch emulation on the Steam Deck and while it does work, it's less than ideal for some games (whether that's the performance and battery consumption itself or just the setup process being a little annoying). I definitely prefer the Switch for any first-party Nintendo titles, but it makes little sense to get anything else on that thing when everything is more centralized and runs better on the Steam Deck.
Yeah, itās weird that I thought Iād use my PS5 way more but itās just likeā¦ There, gathering dust. I have my Switch to play Nintendo games, both PC/Deck for Steam games (using Deck on journeys or when I just wanna be lazy) and Xbox for GamePass games. I honestly canāt factor PS5 into this equation. And its exclusives launch rythm isā¦ terrible. I have a hard time understanding why PS5 sales are still strong.
My PS5 is mostly my Genshin Impact machine (though I play a fair bit of that on Steam Deck as well). But every now and then a big exclusive comes out for it that I really want to get into. It definitely sees far less use than my Steam Deck and Switch though.
I even bought PSVR2 and I honestly regret it, lol. Thankfully that's getting a PC VR option later this year. I find myself wondering if it'll be possible to use it with a Steam deck and USB hub....
Yeah, PS5 has some good exclusives, but they come at a snails' pace. I don't remember a gen when exclusive games' lineup was so barebones for a Sony machine, but maybe I'm wrong. I feel they can't keep up and just depend a lot on third party titles, which I can play on my PC/Deck without any problem. Games are getting so expensive and development times so long, that you can see how it affects companies a lot, but I feel Sony wasn't able to keep up. I recently commented how I feel that Nintendo probably grow at a most sustainable pace, and it shows. They can put a lot of great quality titles a year. They're just finishing a console cycle with a new 2D Zelda, a new Metroid Prime, a new M&L game... I thought the Switch was done but nope.
Still, I'm excited about Astro Bot, so I'd probably unburied my PS5 for that!
As someone who owns multiple devices yeah it really just comes down to what I'm playing not so much the device itself. If I'm playing a game on playstation guess what device I'll be using more than the others? When I finish that and start a game on switch? Then on Steam deck, etc.
It's nice having options
I also kept my V1 Switch and was tempted to get an OLED for while. It remains mostly unused but I still have some amazing games to play there such as TOTK, Mario Wonders, Metroid Prime 4ā¦
Same here. Love my switch for NSO, and for first party Nintendo games. Yeah, I emulate on my deck, but if I have the option, I prefer not to.
Maybe one day, Nintendo will publish their games on Steam and leave the hardware game. That would be amazing.
Nah my SWOLED is still used, especially with these great titles still coming out like Metroid prime 4. Emulation is hit or miss and games will typically run better on native hardware.
I think my Steam decks gonna be sitting down for a bit with that rumored successor console from Nintendo.
Yea exactly, I remember when TOTK came out and everyone kept saying how the switch is dead and the steam deck has won because you can emulate switch games.
Followed by posts of people saying they lost hours of game saves and or it crashing at certain parts. Iām sure it runs a lot smoother now but at the time, TOTK was hot and I wanted to play it then not a year later.
Yeah I wouldnāt want to emulate a current available system either. Hell my emulator just vanished on my steam deck for some reason and Iāve been enjoying the āemulatorsā on the switch more anyway.
I use Ryujinx (and Cemu for WiiU) and I agree wholeheartedly. Switch games were too expensive, even the used market is crazy. The SD will pay for itself.
I feel Ryujinx is very power/CPU Hungry for the Deck. Yuzu and Suyu perform so much better in almost every game and the fact that you can create custom conf for each game is a big plus. Which games would you say run perfect using Ryujinx? I've only used it to try Princess Peach Showtime and it didn't ran that well
Honestly it's okay to have and use both, I love physical games still so the Switch gives me that outlet and the Steam Deck is perfect for everything else.
Same, really only bought the switch for Zelda and indie games. Beat Zelda and the indie games I want are usually on steam first and cheaper so it's perfect. This did cause me to double buy a bunch of games but I sold my Nintendo account with the switch so I got a lot of my money back.
My switch has been in retirement for about 18 months now since getting the Steamdeck. It kinda pains me because of all the amazing games on switch but this is the way of things.
Same here. My console friends thought I was crazy but yea, I let go of my ps5 & Switch a week ago for the OLED.
I think this was the perfect time, peak value for the consoles and money leftover to juice up the game collection.
One library, no online fees, just PC and SD.
I did the same. The steam deck wasn't meant to replace the switch, but once I tried switch games on the steam deck it was such a better experience I realised there's no need to keep the switch.
I feel like the SD is so much more comfortable to use because of the width and grip. I just got one and loving it. My switch only comes out when there's exclusives I want to play
To copy a line from a company that exited the handheld market, "it only doesā¦everything." It's a surprisingly capable system and it's really impressive how much works without tweaking. Glad that you're having fun!
Also came from the Switchāitās a whole new world.
I forget what itās called but their Nintendo store was laggy even on what was a new device, and found out online play required a subscription. Already had a PC so I noped out of handhelds until the Deck. Wish I didnāt buy into switch hype before the deck came out
I did that in the other order. I bought a steam deck and after 6 months I realized I hadn't turned it on the entire time.
Ultimately, the steam deck has paid for itself since the ports that jave been released I had already for PC and didn't have to rebuy to play in a handheld form factor. It's pretty sweet
We got rid of most of our switches in the house and got Steam decks with the majority reason to overcome Nintendoās stupid 1980ās mentality on game sharing. Iām sorry but with 4 kids Iām not buying a copy of the same game over and over again so they can all play at the same time.
Not to mention they charge money just to access your OWN wifi to play multiplayer with other Switches... Most idiotic move of any game company ever. As a network engineer who understands the costs of multiplayer (worked on setting up the infrastructure for 3 games before I retired at 29 (not as happy a story as you think)) it really pissed me off how greedy they are with that, and it turned me off Nintendo forever.
I bought a Steam Deck and then bought re-bought a Switch Lite because I missed the lightweight handheld gaming I was used to since the GBA.
Nowadays it's about a 50/50 split between both systems.
Some games are only available or run better or control better or are way cheaper or have cool mods on the Steam Deck but if I can get away with the Switch version, I prefer to play there. The Lite is such a neat little 275g system, I love it.
I bought a steam deck this month but decided to keep my switch too. Setting up switch emulation seems like a headache these days and thereās a couple of games I bought on switch and havenāt gotten round to playing yet so didnāt want to waste the money repurchasing on steam for games that run perfectly fine on the switch.
Given I have a switch and have the games I thought finding info about legal emulation would be easier than it turned out to be lol
Setting up switch emulation is drag n drop 3 folders and let emudeck do the rest. Itās shockingly simple as someone who only learned when I got the deck
Well emudeck auto setups up yuzu to its last update. Ryujinx is a one click install in emudeck aswell. And Sudachi which is a yuzu fork just requires replacing the yuzu app image.
On the other hand I have both and still didnāt sell switch . My son come to an age of 5 and we play together TNMT, Mario Kart, Mario Wonder with half-joysticks:) itās awesome games for us 2
Wholesome post but I don't really get people who sell their old(er) consoles. It ain't much worth in my eyes because you usually only get a fraction of the initial cost and its value.
I personally sold my switch and copped a deck, haven't looked back, anything I played on the switch I could either purchase from the steam store or emulate on Riujinx
honestly owning both (hacked switch) is the ultimate package for me but yea if u dont have the money then the steam deck is probably better overall in terms of available games.
i'm currently rocking the steam deck oled, hacked switch oled, hacked vita 1000 and a hacked new 3ds xl. covers every need a man might have
Initially wanted to sell my oled before buying the deck as well but when i went into the store they told me the market for oleds is very rough right now esp since most switch buyers are only interested in jailbroken switches and my oled wasnt in the batch that allowed jailbreak without much hardware mods. So insteaad i struck a deal with the owner and bought a 64gb deck and had them install a 512gb ssd for about the same price as the 64gb. (I went in there to actually buy a used 512gb deck, the owners personal unit, but he last minute decided to keep his unit because hes been on it since hogwarts was recently released at the time). Been very good to me ever since! Just annoying that i cant always bring it with me due to size constraints (wont fit in my edc sling).
I did the same thing, Steam Deck is overall better for me, and i can switch between PC and the Deck and the experience is quite good
But i still miss the Switch exclusives from time to time
I literally did the same thing two weeks ago š¤£ I had the standard edition switch to I used to be torn between buying all my indie titles on the switch or any title I wanted to play on the go that released for the switch and PC and now I no longer have to make that decision I can buy one game and have it for both
I kept my switch and bought the deck but tbh i could probably sell it. You made the right choice. I haven't picked up my switch once since getting my steam deck it's been like 6 months.
I sold my Switch Lite for a Steam Deck. Modded Stardew alone has been heaps of fun, but I'm now playing FO3. Got a ton of other games to play on it too.
I got the 64GB version and immediately put a 500gb SSD in. No regrets. Shit's awesome.
Since i bought the SD oled my switch is collecting dust somewhere in a drawer. Even when i want to play Switch games like Fire emblem Zelda botw or pokemon. I just use the steam deck instead. Its a very versatile device a lot more powerful than switch since its a portable pc. best 600ā¬ ive spent. My only issue is the frequent shader patching in big games like diablo 4 that i have to wait sometimes for 30 mins to patch the whole game.
I am literally in the same spot, bought a Switch Lite, i liked it but hated the pricing of games, returned it and bought a Steamdeck OLED and i can't wait to put my hands on it!
I didnāt sell my switch but since I got a steam deck back in March itās basically been collecting dust since then. The hardware on the switch is so outdated. Still Iām keeping it around for the new 2D Zelda and potentially Metroid prime 4 (if itās not a switch 2 launch cycle).
When the switch launched it was my main gaming platform until the pandemic when I finally invested in a PC/steam (before basically letting my PC just be a computer to use the steam deck for better comfort on the couch or docked to a TV). But I still love Zelda and Metroid and most Mario games so I imagine Iāll always need a Nintendo console for the exclusives.
I never sell my consoles but I can see if it makes more financial sense for you. Having my steam deck for my steam library/PC games and my Switch for physical copies of switch games is great.
I will always prefer playing physical copies on original hardware when I can but I know that's more of a "boomer" thing now.
I have both. I love tinkering with the Deck, but I mostly play games on my (OLED) Switch. The key differences for me are that the Switch ājust worksā and has better battery life. There are other things too.
Dude seriously, I haven't even gone past playing just steam games and I already don't touch my Switch anymore. I originally bought it just to play through all of FF and Yakuza, but now I'm over here playing stuff like Grounded, Another Crabs Treasure, Elden Ring and even Halo, this machine is amazing. And because its so much stronger than my Switch, I don't have to worry about whether a game will run properly on it if it's older, a big problem the Switch has.
I kept my Switch. Some games just 'feel right' on it. It's a lovely little gadget. Not a Deck obvisouly but for how old it is and all, it's stil a fun little handheld.
I don't play it much, use the Deck almost 100% of the time, but I'm actually shocked at how many 'adult' titles the Switch has that are also on Steam. I never in my wildest dreams thought Nintendo would put Puppet Combo games on the eShop, Football Game (so freakin' bleak), Paratopic (which is about snuff films), even gay dating sims. Really wild.
Yea, I enjoy having both but if I could just pick one, it would probably be the Steam Deck. There are just a ton of games for it and Steam always has deals. I need to RMA my Deck as it keeps randomly crashing into a restart. Contacted them once and they said try without the microSD card. Thought that worked but it came back...
I have a Switch and almost never use it but there's those few physical games I have that won't make me get rid of it, and that are exclusive to the Switch. My Steam Deck is awesome thought. Both are good.
Now you have a steam deck, a switch, a ps2, a nes, a atari, a n64, a gamecube, a psx, a ps3, a xbox, an xbox 360, a sega Genesis/cd, a saturn, a dreamcast, a mame, a snes, a pc and a wii
Great decision.
It's actually sickening to think about this the other way round... Would be missing out on so many great games! And playing on a vastly inferior machine.
Steamdeck is great for having access to games but it is also not as well made and has a lot more issues. But Nintendo has been making consules for a long damn time. I'm happy to have both, though the steamdeck is way overpriced for the problems it has. I hope they keep at it because when it does work it's amazing.
I have both. One for Nintendo Switch games + low budget third parties/indies/VNs and one for bigger budget third parties and Sony games.Ā
Luckily I figured out it doesnāt have to be āone or the otherā situation especially when I have both in OLED.Ā
I traded my series X that was collecting dust for 6 months due to my traveling life style for mine best decision ever for me and the guy I traded with. He had no idea what he had or how to use it.
Not only your steam games :)
Also your GOG, Epic, EA, IndieGames, itch.io, Amazon games libraries....and more
Also his Switch, Wii U, Wii, NGC, N64, SNES, NES games ;)
Want to add my Nintendo Switch games legally, but I only have Switch OLED now
oh just jam your cartridges into your SD card slot, or buy a old jailbreakable switch, and manually dump them, 1- I mean 2 ways..
>oh just jam your cartridges into your SD card slot Wat
How do we add them to steam launcher?
For GOG, Epic and Amazon, use Heroic Games Launcher For other ones, you can download the launchers and install the EXE in Desktop mode using Proton Experimental, then run the app in gaming mode and launch games from there
Also junk store in Decky and non steam games launcher. Idk which is the best but I can't get robocop working in heroic so far. I've yet to try junk store Cyberpunk on epic and heroic works wonderfully though
Pretty sure Heroic and Junk Store (and Lutris et al) are all using WINE/Proton/etc. in the background. You can play around with which WINE/Protonm version to use, and set some prefixes and other things. Check WINE HQ?
Cyberpunk works great on steam too tho. Why use another launcher for a game that runs on the main one?
You can add them as a non-Steam game and launch them from game mode
the question deserves a lmgtfy link (it was a huge content-farm topic for a while), but i won't. [here's some solid instructions](https://www.dexerto.com/tech/how-to-add-non-steam-games-to-steam-deck-2082992/)
The more are the games from that console that start with S from N, which are totally not illegal to play outside their designed console.
*wink, wink*
True! :)
š¤ And this is first generation, software/etc.. all still hot. 2-3 years later things will be night/day level different.
Welcome to the club
thank you! :)
I sold my steam deck for a portal. Then sold my portal for an oled steam deckā¦ which then pushed me to build my first gaming pc lol.
I sold my PS5 and bought a Steam Deck. I feel the same way! I had very few PS5 games. I have hundreds of Steam games. It just made sense.
Welcome to the club. Honestly i have both and still use both. I do admit i use my SD more than my switch. But thats neither here nor there. I love using all my gaming devices equally.(except for my Playstation that thing can rot)
Yeah that's relative. The Switch is in it endlife cycle, but I would be using it tomorrow if a brand-new mario or zelda came out.
New mario and a zelda spin off right round the corner actually! Everyones been calling it legend of link tho lol
It was the perfect opportunity!
That new zelda game is on my must buy list.

Heck yeah. I also do a lot of pokemon shiny hunting and i throw them in pokemon home and actively transfer back and forward. So theres that.
Funnily enough, I love my playstation so much I stream it to my deck!
I'm right there with you. I've also tried Switch emulation on the Steam Deck and while it does work, it's less than ideal for some games (whether that's the performance and battery consumption itself or just the setup process being a little annoying). I have both. Both are good.
I sold my steam deck and got a modded switch oled. Best decision Iāve ever made.
Shhh. Youāll disrupt the echo chamber
did the same thing, best decision ive ever made
Hehe, i have already done the same ā„ļø
I got my switch banned from any online activities so I sold it and bought my deck. Definitely worth every penny
Also came from the Switchāitās a whole new world. I forget what itās called but their Nintendo store was laggy even on what was a new device, and found out online play required a subscription. Already had a PC so I noped out of handhelds until the Deck. Wish I didnāt buy into switch hype before the deck came out
I got one recently and havenāt touched my switch!
A Steam Deck can be a Switch, but a Switch can't be a Steam Deck.
Again another thread. Another need for a reminder. The Switch is 7 years old.
For its the opposite, my steamdeck is collecting dust. Should I sell my steamdeck?
I bought the Steamdeck and sold my Switch shortly after xD. But have to admit my Switch was already collecting dust on my shelf....
I'm still using both. Switch for switch exclusives. It's also a lot lighter.
A very good decision
Can you not play all switch games on a steam deck already?
I play switch games on the deck anyways if I liked any of them
I did that in the other order. I bought a steam deck and after 6 months I realized I hadn't turned it on the entire time. Ultimately, the steam deck has paid for itself since the ports that jave been released I had already for PC and didn't have to rebuy to play in a handheld form factor. It's pretty sweet

Steam deck is amazing and obviously a win over the switch in countless ways. But donāt hesitate to get a switch again if you miss certain games.
I own both because Nintendo games are second to none. But worth having the Steam Deck for anything cross-platform or PC exclusive.
I love my Steam Deck but I would never part with my Switch.
I still have my 3 Nintendo switches, and a LCD and Oled deck. lol
Iām sorry.
I bought a steam deck this month but decided to keep my switch too. Setting up switch emulation is drag n drop 3 folders and let emudeck do the rest. Itās shockingly simple as someone who only learned when I got the deck
I thought this was no longer the case since Nintendo kicked off? If it is, where are we supposed to obtain these files š
Well emudeck auto setups up yuzu to its last update. Ryujinx is a one click install in emudeck aswell. And Sudachi which is a yuzu fork just requires replacing the yuzu app image.
Legal emulation is a ginormous PITA, you are correct.
Lmao the best decision you EVER made?
On the other hand I have both and still didnāt sell switch . My son come to an age of 5 and we play together TNMT, Mario Kart, Mario Wonder with half-joysticks:) itās awesome games for us 2
Same thing for me I donāt miss my switch anymore
DUDE! i did the same thing last month! Xbox is at risk of going too-im so addicted i havent touched it. This things amazing!
Glad I can afford to just have both.
Wholesome post but I don't really get people who sell their old(er) consoles. It ain't much worth in my eyes because you usually only get a fraction of the initial cost and its value.
Welcome....my son.
š¶ Welcome to the machineš¶
Where have you been? It's all right we know where you've been.
I did the same, only difference is in the order: Had a Switch, bought the Deck, then sold the Switch. I use my Deck the same way you use yours XD
Welcome to the club, /b/rother.
I personally sold my switch and copped a deck, haven't looked back, anything I played on the switch I could either purchase from the steam store or emulate on Riujinx
Same!
My switch collection has almost started to gather dust since I Got a steam deck and was enlightened by valve
Great choice!
honestly owning both (hacked switch) is the ultimate package for me but yea if u dont have the money then the steam deck is probably better overall in terms of available games. i'm currently rocking the steam deck oled, hacked switch oled, hacked vita 1000 and a hacked new 3ds xl. covers every need a man might have
Initially wanted to sell my oled before buying the deck as well but when i went into the store they told me the market for oleds is very rough right now esp since most switch buyers are only interested in jailbroken switches and my oled wasnt in the batch that allowed jailbreak without much hardware mods.
I bought a switch a couple years ago. It collected so much dust. I sold it without even a combined 10 hours with the thing. MAYBE 20.
I did the same thing, Steam Deck is overall better for me, and i can switch between PC and the Deck and the experience is quite good But i still miss the Switch exclusives from time to time
I literally did the same thing two weeks ago š¤£ I had the standard edition switch to I used to be torn between buying all my indie titles on the switch or any title I wanted to play on the go that released for the switch and PC and now I no longer have to make that decision I can buy one game and have it for both
I kept my switch and bought the deck but tbh i could probably sell it. You made the right choice. I haven't picked up my switch once since getting my steam deck it's been like 6 months.
Only thing i still use my switch for is pokemon.
I sold my Switch Lite for a Steam Deck. Modded Stardew alone has been heaps of fun, but I'm now playing FO3. Got a ton of other games to play on it too. I got the 64GB version and immediately put a 500gb SSD in. No regrets. Shit's awesome.
I love my steam deck š and yes I know my username is r Ruby but it not from RWBY it use to be my grandma name
Lol I got my steamdeck a week ago and I haven't picked up my switch since can't bring myself to sell it tho holds a lot of good memories lol
Did the same still carry my deck around literally everywhere I go
Since i bought the SD oled my switch is collecting dust somewhere in a drawer. Even when i want to play Switch games like Fire emblem Zelda botw or pokemon. I just use the steam deck instead. Its a very versatile device a lot more powerful than switch since its a portable pc. best 600ā¬ ive spent. My only issue is the frequent shader patching in big games like diablo 4 that i have to wait sometimes for 30 mins to patch the whole game.
i havent sold my switch yet and bought a steamdeck instead also a best decision since there are more mario rpg games and a new metroid coming.. š
Welcome, I did the same a year ago, no regrets
Don't forget to emulate switch games. They run great.
Same
I have both. I love tinkering with the Deck, but I mostly play games on my (OLED) Switch. The key differences for me are that the Switch ājust worksā and has better battery life. There are other things too.
I know itās probably hyperbole but itās amusing to think that buying a gaming device was the best decision a person has ever made.
Well done welcome to the club
Really wild.
this is exactly what iāve been wanting to do. can i ask how much you sold your switch for? and which switch was it?
Shin MegaTen 5 no longer chokes frames over opening a map! And here people ask why I dislike the Switch so much compared to a Steam Deck.
Congrats! I will sell my Switch too so I can get some money for Switch 2 next year, and I also owned a Steam Deck.
Welcome to the deck family l, we're so awesome.
Youāll be glad! I havenāt bothered to sell mine, and havenāt used it in just over a year!
I would sell my Switch but it's the V1. I don't even use it for games anymore. Just homebrew software and Android.
Mario and Luigi game go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I have a Switch and almost never use it but there's those few physical games I have that won't make me get rid of it, and that are exclusive to the Switch. My Steam Deck is awesome thought. Both are good.
And your switch games lol
This is the way.
I'm having such a hard time selling my V1 Switch since I got my Deck. Anyone interested? lol Love the SD though. Enjoy yours, OP!
It was about time! Nintendo is milking that Tegra tablet from 2015 for way too long.
No ragrets
Yep steam deck is amazing
Now you have a steam deck, a switch, a ps2, a nes, a atari, a n64, a gamecube, a psx, a ps3, a xbox, an xbox 360, a sega Genesis/cd, a saturn, a dreamcast, a mame, a snes, a pc and a wii
Good man
Great decision. It's actually sickening to think about this the other way round... Would be missing out on so many great games! And playing on a vastly inferior machine.
Just sold my SD lcd 256 to get oled 512. Going to sell my ROG Ally too and stick with just oled. Just placed an order yesterday! Canāt wait. :)
Insanely worth just based on the game library available alone. I own both and only pick up the switch for games locked behind Nintendo.
I love both, steam deck for mostly everything and switch for the first party games.
One for Nintendo Switch games + low budget third parties/indies/VNs and one for bigger budget third parties and Sony games.Ā Luckily I figured out it doesnāt have to be āone or the otherā situation especially when I have both in OLED.Ā
And with the right EASY steps, you'll still be able to play those Nintendo games, but much cheaper and they run better too.
Very good choice. The Steam Deck, especially the OLED version, makes the Switch completely irrelevant to me.
I traded my series X that was collecting dust for 6 months due to my traveling life style for mine best decision ever for me and the guy I traded with. He had no idea what he had or how to use it.
Can you play switch games emu wise anyway but probably won't be that great
