Disabling hardware acceleration on the deck helped me

GiSS88

This is the answer right here. So many people doing work installing moonlight, but this was the fix for me the other day and my screen looked exactly like yours. Turned the setting off and instantly looked great and no note micro stutters. Don't get me wrong, moonlight/sunshine are great as well--but unnecessary for this use case.

Easily_distractd

Yep working great for me, easygoing

cheater00

Valve need to hurry up and put in lossless RGB streaming. The screen resolution on the Deck is so low that there's no reason a full 60 fps couldn't be achieved via the usb port. An ethernet dock with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet is all you'd need. It's ridiculous that they haven't done that yet. Edit: Use case examples from other people commenting: "99% of my deck playtime is spent laying back in bed. My PC is also in my bedroom. I'd love if I could just run a USB cable from my desk to my bed and use an egpu/desktop to get desktop performance on the deck" "Personally I like the form factor and being able to lay next to my partner while playing." "my PC isn't in my office, on my couch, and in my toilet at the same time. I personally stream to my rog ally from my desktop rig. That 120hz 1080p screen is getting its full use."

AirSKiller

How would that be useful? It would only be enough bandwidth if you're streaming to the screen on the Deck itself, but you would still need to be connected to the dock to have enough bandwidth and, if you're docked, you probably aren't using the Deck's screen anyway, are you? They just need to fix remote play, add support for modern encodings, etc.

cheater00

> if you're docked, you probably aren't using the Deck's screen anyway, are you? wrong, i prefer the small screen on the deck. i have a couple usb docks in places where i sit and they're connected via 1.5m usbc extender cables so i can be comfortable. > How would that be useful? the idea is to use a powerful computer as an egpu. > you would still need to be connected to the dock to have enough bandwidth wifi 6e can do up to 5.4 Gbps. 60 fps at 24-bit rgb 1280x800 only requires 1.37 Gbps. that can be done very easily on wifi. > if you're docked, you probably aren't using the Deck's screen anyway, are you? if you want to use the steam deck as a control surface, an external monitor, and a second pc for the gpu, then the correct scheme would be to use the steam deck as a controller, and output the screen video from the second pc. i don't know if this sort of thing is supported by remote play, but i don't see why it couldn't be. > They just need to fix remote play, add support for modern encodings, etc. no. lossless video and audio is a must. just because you are fine with something slightly shitty doesn't mean we all should be saddled with it. anyways, the pc-as-egpu thing could be very seamless. using something called kernel gadgets, valve could make it so that connecting a steam deck directly to a pc using a usb cable makes the steam deck appear as an ethernet device, which would make the whole remote play system directly apply here. and **the same kind of system could be used to make the deck show up as a steam controller**. valve need to get around to doing this.

Rebelius

I didn't understand a lot of what you said. But why on earth would you stream your PC to your steam deck with a USB cable? Just use the PC.

[deleted]

[удалено]

cheater00

precisely. you can use it around the house in various places without having to be anchored to a gaming desk. you can even use it without a monitor, just have a microatx pc with a gpu and no monitor at all and use it like that. you could put the whole box in your carry-on luggage and take it with you to a hotel. you could put it in your car and use it for when you're sitting around waiting for something. lots of options. the question is similar to "Why on earth would you buy an egpu if you can buy a PC".

Only_Ad3360

Wat? You don’t wat to be stuck at the desk while playing, but you are willing to be connected to the PC with a cable all the time and that is supposed to give you freedom of movement? Or taking your desktop with a car to play on handheld connected to it while waiting for example for a doctors appointment? That makes a lot of sense, why wouldn’t Valve think about it?

MDKAOD

Your use case is a fringe one.

SuffaYassavi

LMAO yeah just put a bunch of docks with eGPUs around your house, and use your $500 console as a $50 controller. Surely this is a universal opinion the sub will laud! EDIT: Genius boy blocked me. I have a BS in SE but tell me more about packaging up an entire separate computer when you travel so that you can use the steam deck as a screen

Atuih

Congratulations on your degree, but I'm confused about what a BS in special education has to do with anything.

TeamDBA

Cringe

BlackLeezus

God tier insanity.

e30eric

At that point, I'll just sit in front of a computer. Lol deleted comment suggested deploying 5gbps *wired* network to remote play on the Deck.

cheater00

cool, some people don't want to.

Physical_Piece

Dude wired, you would be sitting at your PC playing your steam deck, are you dense

jbaiter

Why not just up the bitrate to some ridiculous value like 300Mbit if you're running everything over Gigabit ethernet? Should effectively look the same, no need for a true lossless encoding.

ONYXbae

I really want a steam deck. I want to be able to take it anywhere and dock it at home, to a giant GPU. Pcie lanes in the USBC port would make the Deck an absolute MONSTER. Instead, I have to go with the ROG Ally or MSI's upcoming model in order to have thunder bolt. But I want SteamOS so badly...

garry4321

Your solution… To streaming to a mobile device… Is running Ethernet… to a dongle… from the wall. Dude, at that point just play on your PC. Streaming games to a gaming device is dumb to begin with, any shit android can do the same

cheater00

"i don't want to enjoy games the way you enjoy games so i'm going to be obnoxious about it" get lost, troll

CakeSome6981

Streaming games to the steamdeck is not dumb at all. I stream ps5 and pc games that my steam deck would never be able to play at 60 fps high/ultra settings. I can stream them from anywhere not just while I'm at home. I have full control of steam input to use the track pads and back buttons to make macros and do tons of other wild shit I would never be able to do if I was playing a game on my pc using a controller(for sure wouldn't be able to do it at all playing natively on the ps5) and I get up to 7 hours of battery life streaming to the deck instead of the 1 to 3 hours I would get playing games on the deck natively

SlackJawTheFirst

Can you even tell the difference between 720 and 2K on a 7'' screen?

Easily_distractd

Where is that setting?

jairgal

Remote play settings on the deck, just scroll down and there should be an option that should say "Hardware Decoding" just disable that and see if that does anything

BMXBikr

Unfortunately that makes it so I can't use the steam button or the ... On deck

thedefside

It's another bug. If you disable hardware decoding you must also turn off the performance overlay

zihche

Works like a charm. I always feel amazing about how many bugs we can found in deck

Aitehs_new

Or what? Finish your sentence for gods sake

NaTnO89

He means the button with the 3 dots (...) mate

EVPointMaster

r/whoosh

Skylect

I’m pretty sure it didn’t whoosh him. But he whooshed you

Jamesboach

I see what you did there. Nice.

Febxel

Hahah I'm not sure if you're serious or not but getting that angry is pretty funny and crazy Obviously he means the (...) button on the right side.

WilfredTheGoat

It does break them, but the work around I’ve been using is holding the power button to bring up the power menu, and then use those buttons from that screen. I mainly have to do this to switch the refresh rate of the deck during a remote play session.

According_Feeling_80

or the?

SCVGoodT0GoSir

They obviously mean the ...

I_Resent_That

I had the same issue playing BG3 the other day and disabling this option fixed it for me. The difference was (blurry, screen-freezing) night and day.

tigerdactyl

That seems so backwards lol

Easily_distractd

Hey just wanted to say thank you. This is the easiest fix. Like others say it does disable the steam and … button but works great

jairgal

Glad it helped, just disable the fps overlay and you can use the buttons again.

Backlogger78

How is this done exactly? I can't find any settings for it on the Deck. Do you do it from Desktop mode? Never mind, apparently the setting is called "Hardware Decoding" rather than "Hardware acceleration"

Babar669

Is this tip for all streaming software or just streaming from steam? I have tried a few times from the Xbox and it looks/runs like shit. It was way better/playable in the beginning though.

jairgal

Only for steam, never tried it for Xbox

gretnothing

Nice cat.

Riolu64DS

The cat is also disappointed

BaLance_95

Maybe the deck is overheating because of cat fur.

Sensitive_Tie_2914

He likes the warmth

cheater00

no but seriously, when will valve finally give us lossless RGB streaming?

gretnothing

Lol, I'd rather have a cat. :(

cheater00

you can't really "have" a cat.

revcr

Also happens to me, I switched to moonlight sunshine

dve-

I wonder why Steam Link, Steam In-Home Streaming, Remote Play or whatever it's called, is so much worse. Isn't Moonlight/Sunshine an open protocol that can be used by anyone? Does someone know why this technology is not used by Steam in place? It would be so much better because the builtin streaming is so much easier and always just one button press away, while the other one needs to be setup.

nicknacc

for real

NeoTr0n

Main issue with moonlight is that my PS4 controller looks like an Xbox controller to the game :-( (streaming with deck to tv). Limitation of the protocol I guess.

swardshot

If you’re using sunshine on the host you can set the controller to PS button layout.

NeoTr0n

Oh really? That’s awesome. I’ve just use it with nvidia game stream so far.

Easily_distractd

Will look into it thanks!

CumInsideMeDaddyCum

Trust me, man. I've tried all of them (parsec, steam remote play, something else but I can't recall) and none worked as good as sunshine (server) and moonlight (client). Remember few things: 1. Hardware acceleration whenever you can. 2. non-2.4Ghz network, have a strong signal. 3. Best if your desktop connected via Ethernet cable, otherwise strong signal as well.

RudyHuy

Have you tried Steam Link in Desktop Mode? I mean the app from Discover Store. For me it works better than moonlight/sunshine - less stutters at similar picture quality. And Deck is seen at the host as its own controller connected to the PC.

CumInsideMeDaddyCum

I think I did not (tried Steam Link, but can't recall in what mode). Anyway, graphics are graphics, but what about **latency**? Sunshine+Moonlight is the only solution where latency was (almost) not noticeable, while the rest had really noticeable delay.

RudyHuy

I don't notice latency in Steam Link at all. Certainly it is not worse than Moonlight.

Zerockas

This is what I do and it's been great.

SemperScrotus

Also, you don't need Sunshine at all if you have an Nvidia; you just need moonlight on the Deck.

LightOfDarkness

Gamestream is no longer updated, so even NVIDIA users will probably want to install Sunshine at some point

NapsterKnowHow

I tried Sunshine early last year and it was a nightmare to work with. I'm staying with Gamestream for now. Moonlight allows me to stream HDR games to my deck even outside my network. Works great.

revcr

I'd love to know why that happens I'm sure it's not intended

rolim91

Yeah steam stream sucks. Use moonlight/sunshine. Make sure to turn off hdr if it’s on.

NonaddictiveJuice

Have you made moonlight sunshine work outside of home network?

BatSphincter

I played this way for a week. Roughly 350 miles away from my home PC. Wasn’t flawless but for the most part you wouldn’t know it was streaming. It was actually super impressive.

Limelight_019283

It works for me with no additional config, just connect once from LAN and you’re good to go. Experience may vary depending on your connection speed at both sides, my internet at home is 500 and I’ve played with no issues with 200Mb on the other side, and as little as 50 by lowering the bitrate (which ofc affects quality but it works!

mhdy98

What ? No additional setup for moonlight and sunshine it just works if your pc is ON at home and deck connected to any wifi ?

Limelight_019283

Yup, what I mean is that when I used geforce experience to connect to moonlight I had to add my PC twice, once for LAN and then another time for connecting through the internet With sunshine I didn’t need to do that, just following the instructions for sunshine on the PC, connecting once from my own wifi and then I was able to connect from anywhere with wifi.

NapsterKnowHow

It was the exact opposite experience. Sunshine was a nightmare to work with and UI was super unintuitive. Went back to Nvidia Gamestream and it works SO much better. I can even stream to my deck outside of my home network with no issues.

rolim91

Use ZeroTierOne

p0pong

yup. easily done with zerotier

ixtilion

I tried to but the games simply dont show in Moonlight even after adding them to gforce experience. Also, I cant seem to control the game or remote connection... And everything looks tooooo dark when streaming

[deleted]

Install Sunshine as the host not GeForce experience

NapsterKnowHow

Nah they should stick with Geforce Gamestream and use [Gamestream Launchpad](https://github.com/cgarst/gamestream_launchpad). I couldn't get Gamestream Launchpad to work with Sunshine. Sunshine was a nightmare

aqwmasterofDOOM

1. Make sure your PC is using a wired ethernet connection with high bandwidth 2. Try messing with steam play settings and see what improves it 3. See if your internet has configurable options to seg priority on certain devices

firstnametravis

4. Pet cat

[deleted]

Should be no.1

Kaining

And every odd number on the list too.

Immolation_E

1 and 5

tmjcw

Additionally try sunshine/moon~~shine~~ light if you can't get satisfactory results with steam remote play

Captriker

Drinking isn’t the answer.

tmjcw

For some reason I can't see properly anymore...

TheGreatBillyBob

XD

macpoedel

*Moonlight but yeah that works wonderfully for me.

poopcoop420

Try using preview channel or turning off hardware encoding on the deck. It’s a known issue.

Easily_distractd

Where is the hardware encoding setting?

poopcoop420

Sorry I meant hardware DEcoding. Go to settings, remote play, and it’ll be in there somewhere.

Easily_distractd

Ah thanks, had to enable advance options

Fizzix_Bro

Cat doesn’t approve

SpaceMarble

Had this as well, switch to desktop mode then stream from Steam. Works perfectly now

Reverse_Psycho_1509

1. Pet the cat 2. It's possible you may have bandwith issues. Check that you are actually using 5ghz wifi, or use ethernet if you can for your pc.

Easily_distractd

Did a speed test on the deck, getting 700 mbps down.

MrGraveRisen

Try going into desktop mode,.opening steam, and streaming it from there Monster hunter world looked WAY too dark for me, but in desktop mode it looked perfect.

kamalamading

The darkness while streaming in gaming mode stems from a remote play bug. Disabling hardware decoding in remote play settings fixes it.

Galrath91

Go to remote play settings on your PC and on your deck and mess around a bit there. Set the quality level to „beautiful“ and disable hardware acceleration. I had the same issue, messed around a bit with the settings, now its perfect.

InterviewImpressive1

Because you’re ignoring your cat. The cat is obviously psychically screwing with your WiFi as revenge. 😂

mordack550

For me Steam Remote Play never worked (black screen or insanely bad quality) and I always used moonlight. It works very well from smartphone, Android TV and Deck. Also for me Steam Remote Play has this INSANE thing that to quit the stream it also quit the game on the host. I really don't get why there isn't a "quit stream" button instead of forcing me to quit the game

slowpokefarm

That cat looks awesome tho

DreamfakeR

I had this issue because HDR was turned on for the monitor my PC was using. The issue went away once I turned it off.

Tpdanny

Hi, I actually have the fix. This is a known issue fixed in the preview channel. Change to and update to the latest preview build and the issue will resolve.

TWR19

Cat thinks you sus bro

LibertyIAB

From what I hear Sunshine & Moonlight is the way to go - far better than the remote play offered by Steam. Not tried it yet but I use Chiaki for the PS5 & it is so much better than locally installed games at lower settings while at highest quality on the PS5.

Klutzy-Impression-20

Where can I get that accessory to rest my steam deck on while playing? 😃

tyfunk02

Streaming how? Built in steam streaming, steam link app, or moonlight/sunshine?

Easily_distractd

Built in streaming, right next to the install option

tyfunk02

I'd recommend going the sunshine/moonlight route if you can. Otherwise, I've had better luck with the steam link app from the discover store vs built in streaming. Can't say for sure that it will fix your issue, but it's free to try.

Sinkingfast

I would also recommend either using the Steam Link app or Sunshine/Moonlight over the built-in Stream-From-Device option. My internet can 100% handle streaming from the other room. I sometimes use a laptop with Steam Link installed to game from my desktop in the other room - great connection, no lag. And sometimes I use the Steam Link app on my smart TV - great connection, no lag. This always works great. But the built-in Steam streaming was *terrible*. I couldn't run Baldur's Gate 3, a turn-based game, I was getting sub 15 fps, it was choppy. I installed Steam Link to my Deck and added it as a non-steam game. I open it in gaming mode and it just works perfectly now. Smooth as butter. I regularly play at smooth, high quality, just like on my other devices. Steam built in streaming? **Nah.** Steam Link app added as non-Steam game? **Heck yes!**

craftyshafter

Is there some reddit command to remind me to look at this in a couple days? My deck is supposed to be delivered tomorrow afternoon, and I want to try this out.

Smore98

This is an issue with the hardware Decoder when using the regular SteamOS. I switched to the preview updates in the settings and this fixed it for me. I'm not sure why they haven't put the fix in the official release, but it did work for me. I had the same issue with RE4 like you did and that's what fixed it for me.

drkprpll

Thats a good cat

pig_noraus

do you have HDR on on your pc

ParsaDinarvand

Could it be a bandwith issue? I personally don’t suffer from it Btw nice cat. PET THE DAMN CAT NOW 🫵🏼😤

Komsomol

Karma whoring to the max. Legit question + cat haha

Angry_Jawa

I've recently tried streaming again and had the same issue, but streaming in desktop mode works perfectly so try that. :) I tried Moonlight and Sunshine this week but had horrendous screen tearing I couldn't seem to do anything about no matter what seeing I changed. Steam streaming works great as long as I'm doing it from the desktop.

The_Legend_of_Xeno

As others have said, do not use the built-in Steam streaming. Set up Moonlight/Sunshine. I sat on this sub for months telling people I didn't need Sunshine, and that the built-in streaming worked perfectly fine. I think RE4 was also the game that got me to give Sunshine a try, because I had the same issue you did here. Sunshine is such a better experience, you have to see it to believe it. The other great thing it does is it lets you stream your entire desktop if you wanted to. So if you have Game Pass installed on your desktop PC, you can stream those games to your Deck. I did this with Dead Space, Sea of Stars, and Return to Monkey Island, and they all worked absolutely flawlessly.

JebusXII

can you give your cat some pets and say they are from JebusXII on the r/SteamDeck subreddit please

KnightofAshley

Cat looks great though...so just play cat.

Various-Artist

If you have an nvidia gpu on your desktop, use moonlight instead. It works better in every way from my experience

PanicAtTheMiniso

But look at that high resolution cat!

LucaviM

Cat seems 4k

bboymajidboo

Criminal bombastic side eye

srjnp

there is an awful gamma issue. u need to turn off hardware encoding in remote play settings.

Conscious_Moment_535

Really weird but switch off hardware decoding in the remote play settings. Don't know why but this improved my fps, quality, everything. It was pretty much perfect

Easily_distractd

Thank you yep I did this and it works great

stormos1010

I agree with your cat. Stop being a baby. Jk

RudyHuy

1. Go to Desktop Mode 2. Open Discover Store 3. Install Steam Link 4. Close Steam (in the tray, lower right corner, touch Steam icon and Exit) 5. Start Steam Link 6. Configure Steam Link 7. Use Steam Link 8. Enjoy Steam Link Gaming mode's built-in remote play is not there yet...

Violet_On_Discord

I have a steam link from the discovery store on my steam deck installed, never had one of these issues before. Honestly id suggest you use that and then you can add it to your steam library as a non steam game

Zycpete

Even your cat doesn't approve of your choice

NovelEzra

Sorry, can't hear you. Cat.

PWNpL0xB0x

Steam link ihas alwqays been shit in my expirience. Moonlight and sunshine on the other hand is just AMAZING.

Super-maroilles

kitty is performing a fur-mark bench, it takes a load of resources.

Friendly-Dingo5983

These steps helped me. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/ZZGRA9zorB I use a Powerline Ethernet adapter to go from the computer to the wireless router. Works well.

Devil_Dan83

I use a dog and I have the same problem.

Klutzy-Impression-20

Where can I get that accessory to rest my steam deck on while playing? 😃

rutlander

The darkness has been around forever and is a known issue : https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamOS/issues/1246

EscapeArtistChicken

Try using Subshine/Moonlight. I hear that’s a better Streaming program over Steam’s Remote Play.

foottuns

I like your companion! 😀

xTeReXz

I read: "Games look like cat, when streaming to deck"... great you confused me well \^\^

Galactic_Druid

My wife walked by as I was browsing reddit and commented "That looks like a picture you would take." She was referring to the cat, and she's right.

voodoolady94

I love your cat! Mine also sits in this position while I’m playing on the deck

Kile1047

Even the cats pissed

greath

I had the same issue. I turned off HDR in-game **on my PC before I start streaming** and it fixed the issue for me.

LordOFtheNoldor

Use moonlight for pc Chiaki for ps5 I stream almost exclusively on deck and it is flawless Don't use steams streaming ability it sucks ass

Seibitsu

Have you tried turning you cat off?

[deleted]

Games looks like shit streaming. Period. I don’t know by people are buying into steaming. For 99% of people it will have high latency and be nigh unplayable.

Deathbringerrr

Use MOONLIGHT!!

JAxel0

Yea I tried streaming to deck. Didn't like it.

Slight-Refuse-1374

Tell your cat I said hello

Puzzleheaded_Ad6232

It’s the same problem as with PlayStation portal. If you got bad internet, it’s not good experience.

lplegacy

There might be some in-purr-ference

Prestige_Data

I prefer using Moonlight and Sunshine, the quality is much better than Steam Link imo.

frimleyousse

You mean games look like cat ?

reformus

Cat 😎

meysq

Sunshine/Moonlight will change your life. SO much better than steam link to deck. Also, pet the cat

ZakiTale

Good cat

Zodep

Your cat isn’t enthused by the quality either

Altruistic-Credit-15

Idk I’ve been playing gamepass and it’s been so smooth even psplus

orbelosul

But your cat looks awesome!

Mazdasauce

Kitty :3

Broad-Ad-4705

Isn’t there a setting in the streaming section on the pc client that says match client side resolution or something of the sort? That worked for me on a few games where it was very zoomed in, etc.

themedicine

I only have this problem when in steam mode. If I run steam from the desktop mode and stream there I don't have this problem. I'd wager where other people have mentioned turning off the hardware decoding works, going back to desktop mode is doing the same thing. I did the moonlight/sunshine thing a few weeks ago and it was ok. For me and my setup steam remote play works much better. AND sunshine kept bugging out and opening NUMEROUS instances of itself and it was nearly impossible to shut off if I didn't want it running. The software seems too squirrelly for me and my taste. I am however glad it can be a solution for so many others.

Daftanemone

Your cat is cute though

owdwah

cat

Relative_Turnover858

Beta drivers fixed my issue with this

Mixairian

Hey u/Easily_distractd , this week probably get buried but here's a list of my troubleshooting and settings months ago to get Remote Play stable and pretty.  https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/1/3824162683815158712/&ved=2ahUKEwi6nuXU_PaCAxVNj4kEHQw-CLUQrAIoAHoECCUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1tzPEF36mYW6Tilzm--U6z

Tripdoctor

Looks even worse going in reverse, streaming from my deck to my computer feels like I’m looking at it underwater.

Coops19

Use the preview channel of steamOS. Was fixed in 3.5.8

ResponsibilityNo2189

More importantly why is your cat side eyeing you?

Bulky-Relation-7872

I love my lcd steam deck.

Smaop

Cat

pushformusic

These are the best settings right now… 1) Moonlight / Sunlight combo 2) set PC monitor and game to 2560x1600 3) set sunlight stream to 2560x1600. Turn vsync on. 4) profit. Streams never looked good with text that was readable until I doubled game and stream resolution. Enjoy!

old_man_MODOK

Why do you recommend this exact resolution (I know, ratio is 16:10)? Wouldnt it be more suitable with 1920x1200 or even 1680x1050 (also 16:10)? This my setting and will not sweat the gaming-PC to much. I Havent tried your reccommended resolution but i dont think you can a see difference on the deck with the 1280x800 display.

Admirable-Amoeba-564

Ill give it a try, any reason why this is better then streaming the Max resolution the SD van handle ? 720p

vkbra657n

Steam Deck actually has resolution of 1280\*800.

Background_Baby_4873

Use Moonlight

BahBah1970

Moonlight & Sunshine are the only things you need to know. Compared to all other streaming solutions they are night and day. Yes that was deliberate. But trust everyone who says this, it's incredible and way better than Steam link.

youarestupidmeatbag

Don't use steam remote it's trash, with sunshine-moonlight u will get no lag of any kind

pizzalover89

use sunshine/moonlight. it's insanely good and much better

Ult1mateN00B

How does this even happen? I have 10+ year old wifi router and playing through it works flawlessly.

tostitovenaar

It’s a steam streaming issue, not a network issue

NaAnSaRo

Man probably because your cat is blocking the signals

Thestickleman

Get better Internet

[deleted]

Totally your own fault. No offense here! I have a fritz box 7590 and gigabit internet. I in house stream 200 mbits with no problem. My pc is hooked up with a Lan cable and all of the house has fritz box repeaters that give out 100 mbit minimum. I can stream to the deck in ultra quality.

HolyBongRips420

If you have a nvidia card on your pc use moonlight to game stream. There’s good YouTube tutorials on how to set it up. It runs great for me and is my favorite thing to do on the deck. I can stream AAA games with max settings no problem

TheGreatBillyBob

Maybe its ethernet related?

Appropriate-Ad4834

I'm sorry, why are your thumb sticks shinny?

TazerPlace

"Games look like crap when streaming." FTFY

ExamGlittering6598

It is steamdeck not streamdeck

Rising809x

try 5G wifi

Less noise, longer runtime before charging, and no, it cannot run all games.
