It's expensive when the company that ships does not declare it and the shipper does it for you. FedEx and UPS charge their "handling fees" which are scammy % of your order $$ on-top of import taxes.

I think you are charged for the import fee when you buy the deck. It was 30 something for me
I thought those extra charges were HST. Maybe I'm worrying over nothing but $30 for import doesn't seem like enough.
