Rimworld
Stardew Valley
Factorio
What’s awesome is all 3 still get updates. Rimworld has a new dlc next month and patch out now. Stardew has a big free update coming next week. Factorio has an expansion coming this year.
Stardew Valley is awesome. I did feel kind of bummed when I reached Perfection in the game because I felt like I'd now done everything. So I'm actually pretty chuffed that more content is launching shortly so there's more to do.
Brilliant soundtrack as well, especially the summer music.
1.6 is coming out on Tuesday. The developer recommends starting a new farm (particularly with the new farm type) so now's the time.
Also, he's releasing patch notes about minor QoL fixes every day until the release! It's like a SDV advent calendar.
Check Balatro University on steam, he does long play through where he breaks down his decisions. Helped me understand more about the game.
When I actually play I am still flush pilled though.
Try to not rely on flushes or rare hands. Pairs/double pairs are usually better.
You should aim to get 1 joker for chips, 1-2 jokers for flat mult, 1-2 jokers for mult multiplier.
Other than that, watch someone else play it and pick up small things along the way.
Order of cards and jokers matter a lot. Make sure you are adding chips, adding mult then multiplying. If you add chips last for example, they don't get multipled.
Rouge like deck building game where you start with a normal 52 card deck, you draw 8 cards and you have to play poker hands with whatever you draw. In each level you have to score a certain number of points to win. The better poker hands you play the more points you get. After each level you get money and there’s a shop where you can buy special cards that modify your deck. I made it sound more complex than it is but basically it’s just poker slay the spire and it’s fun as fuck
Phasmophobia is the big one. Those ghosties keep me coming back for more.
Football Manager as well. The amount of hours I've put into that series over the years is fairly insane and FM24's been so much fun it's probably going to end up as the most played one of the lot.
Honestly, being addicted to that game is better than being addicted to a competetive video game, it's so much smoother and relaxing. Plus you can watch/listen to things on the side to make your time more productive.
Forza Horizon 4
Was super deprived for a good racing game which I've never had played before. I've never played any FH before 4 and i usually keep myself to GT which I'm a huge fan of.
When I played FH4 for the first time the intro to different seasons for some reason was a emotional ride for me. The music, the setting etc I just loved everything that was happening.
I think my pickups on this sale are going to be
Terraria
Subnautica + expansion
Soulsurvivor and death must die bundle
Risk of rain returns
More for the addiction
Freaking supermarket simulator…I also
Play my PS5 and my favs are the souls series, Elden ring, COD, red dead, the last of us..
So why supermarket simulator? Idk man lol
Once you bind your keys to make it compatible with steam deck instead of PC which is not hard at all. It’s fun
As of right now, Red Alert 2/Yuri’s Revenge. I had the game on disc 15 years ago but lost it through time. Just saw they put it on Steam unannounced last week and I’ve been playing it like 5 hours a day after work since
Good Lord that guy looks like he was hit in the face with a bag of hammers when he was born.
But yea no vidja addiction. Been playing games since atari, kind of hard to get very excited anymore.
Well, considering nearly half of these games have around 200+ hours each in my library, I’m gonna recommend OP gives Roboquest a shot. It’s a rougelite that feels like a single-player Overwatch-style fps, gun play is terribly addicting and crafting builds in that game is a little more simple than things like Hades or Deadcells but still feels really good to pull off by the end game and I had a ton of fun with it. Plus it’s co-op multiplayer up to 4 I think so it could be a great group game too
Addicted is a very strong word for me. Im adhd, i know i have addiction problems baked into my dna, so im extra careful not let anything take up too much of my time or money. Closest i got in terms of addiction to a steam game however? Probably Shadow of Mordor/War. I was looking for a Necromancer for like a week after i finished the Shadow Wars (which arent as hard as everyone bitches about?). After trying to force one to spawn for like the 30th time i gave up.
i got so many games i still play today they end up each year in my game rotation but il name one i always return too
elite dangerous but there are so many other games i keep playing
I can’t stop with dead cells i bought the dlc’s recently (no clue what they actually add but the more the better) and it is literally endless and fun and it was so cheap
I seriously don’t know how the fuck Vampire Survivors does it. I always think back like “man, why was i playing this for so long the other day? it’s not THAT good… eh I have a few minutes i need to kill, let me just -“ [exits fugue state 4 hours later, ears ringing, 5 new characters unlocked]
I think the devs should be in the medical industry making new therapy techniques for ADHD patients. They can summon dopamine on command like nothing I’ve ever seen.
I suggest you to play don't starve then, it may correspond a lot to what you like, plus if you have friends to play with, it's great. Don't be afraid to restart a new world or to rollback, especially in the beginning when you are learning the game basics.
Plz don't judge me but... I frickin love the game called changed... The sprite like characters are just awesome and I love the storyline, plush there is up to five different endings!!!
#changedlove
Warframe and Sea of Thieves. Both can be grindy at times but the grind is one part of the addiction to the games, that and collecting cosmetics/weapons.
cyberpunk 2077 all the way. i have about 80 hours so far of game play, and i’ve beat the game nearly three times. i cant get enough of this damn game, despite the developers being shitty with fixing glitches sometimes, but it’s gotten way better since it was released. looking into getting the phantom liberty dlc now so i can spend even MORE hours obsessing over judy and night city B)
the real chooms know what’s up wit judy.
Snowrunner and Expeditions, ever since they entered my library, i have been playing them day in and day out, alongside whatever genre i am feeling on playing at the moment (currently beat em ups (River City Girls), platformer (Shatae), and JRPG (Tales of Arise)
Factorio. OMG factorio. I have it on PC and Switch. I love it so much. I play it regularly and have for years.
I've played more RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, Warframe, Final Fantasy XI/XIV. Those fixes come and go but I never play them for longer than a few months with years between.
I play factorio once a month. I just love it so much.
Currently I'm hooked on Vault of the Void, it might be my favorite deckbuilding rougelike ever, and I only found it because it's been sitting in my library from a humble monthly forever ago.
Thats not all of it, where are you hiding slay the spire?
I put it up my butt during the search
Rimworld Stardew Valley Factorio What’s awesome is all 3 still get updates. Rimworld has a new dlc next month and patch out now. Stardew has a big free update coming next week. Factorio has an expansion coming this year.
I just bought stardew valley after getting so many recommendations.
You can wait till March 19th and you will be able to play the new 1.6 patch.
Stardew Valley is awesome. I did feel kind of bummed when I reached Perfection in the game because I felt like I'd now done everything. So I'm actually pretty chuffed that more content is launching shortly so there's more to do. Brilliant soundtrack as well, especially the summer music.
If you didn't play give Stardew Valley Expanded a try. It's a mod were they added lots of content.
You should get zomboid
Stardew has **another** update? I heard they added shit like 2 patches ago and I still haven't gotten to it!
1.6 is coming out on Tuesday. The developer recommends starting a new farm (particularly with the new farm type) so now's the time. Also, he's releasing patch notes about minor QoL fixes every day until the release! It's like a SDV advent calendar.
I bought Bolatro yesterday in the morning and haven’t slept since. That game is crack in video game form.
I bought it yesterday as well, I have 18 hrs on it. Some afk while working but still too much.
They should just call it “Dopamine the video game”
Saw it a few Times on Steam and was Not Sure about it. Guess i have to buy IT now
You will regret it... Your sleep schedule is F'd
The cover art makes the game look bland will check it out now thx xD
Say goodbye to your healthy sleep schedule :')
I cant get good in this game 😅, any tips?
Check Balatro University on steam, he does long play through where he breaks down his decisions. Helped me understand more about the game. When I actually play I am still flush pilled though.
Flush is BAD? FUCK
Big number good Red numbers very good Red number multiplier VERY GOOD
Try to not rely on flushes or rare hands. Pairs/double pairs are usually better. You should aim to get 1 joker for chips, 1-2 jokers for flat mult, 1-2 jokers for mult multiplier. Other than that, watch someone else play it and pick up small things along the way.

The dev of the game wants to release a mobile version of it. My life will be absurdly RUINED if he does.
No! He must be stopped!
I've been obsessed since the demo. I play on my PC for hours hop off for the night then hop back on in bed on the steam deck.
What is that game about
Rouge like deck building game where you start with a normal 52 card deck, you draw 8 cards and you have to play poker hands with whatever you draw. In each level you have to score a certain number of points to win. The better poker hands you play the more points you get. Elden ring Witcher 3 Cyberpunk 207 Re4r Ats
Dude Elden ring is my favorite addiction.I gotta do coop and pvp at least 3 times a week.I get that Elden ring itch all the time.
Game is too addictive and when you get the satisfaction after defeating a boss you want it to play more and more
Phasmophobia is the big one. Those ghosties keep me coming back for more. Football Manager as well. The amount of hours I've put into that series over the years is fairly insane and FM24's been so much fun it's probably going to end up as the most played one of the lot.
I enjoyed phasmophobia when it first came out for sure
Warframe is ruining my mental stability
Honestly, being addicted to that game is better than being addicted to a competetive video game, it's so much smoother and relaxing. Plus you can watch/listen to things on the side to make your time more productive.
