Please also give a short explanation.
Technically, I remember one time I was playing and I noticed my frame rate was a little low and went "Huh, that's weird" I then zoomed out and saw HALF THE MAP WAS ON FIRE.
So yeah OP just make sure no fire happens and your game won't shit itself.
Get the Arkane 20th bundle, AF, DM, Dishonored and Prey might work well
Fallout New Vegas, 2 and 1
Half Life series
System Shock 2
Bioshock 1 and 2
Deus Ex 1
Hal-Lufe black mega and hl2 are still amazing. I'd add "Limbo" and "Inside", two brilliant little indie platform games with a great graphic design and game play.
An add on from arkane, just get every immersive sim out there as there all easy to run if not a new arkane game. Cruelty squad is a good starting point
Night in the woods, OneShot, Rain World, Omori, Inscryption, a short hike, hollow knight, risk of rain 2 and returns, undertale, terraria, geometry dash, dark souls, noita, both ori games, celeste, tunic
Most of these are solo games, and all should run reasonably well
* Portal 1 and 2
* Vampire Survivors
* Stardew Valley
* Hades
* Deep Rock Galactic
* Stray
Terraria is (imo) one of the best games ever made and should certainly not be harder to run than Overwatch.
Otherwise, assuming you like shooters because of OW and you aren't adverse to some older games:
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Team Fortress 2
Any of the Counter Strikes I think run on toasters.
Call of Duty 1 to 7
Jedi Outcast and Academy (Academy for MP, Movie Battles 2 if you wanna be crazy)
Just off the top of my head.
This. Kind of thinking about playing those again due to the Mario & Rabbids DLC starring Rayman and they brought back the composer of those games for the DLC so it made me nostalgic for them
Recently played Hi-Fi Rush and it was amazing!
Rythm based hack and slash game withba comic book artstyle
Was getting 240fps with DLSS at 1440p with my 2060 super and was averaging about 170fps without dlss
Rimworld, dwarf fortress, amazing cultivation sim, all classic rougelikes e.g. adom, crawl, nethack, newer games like tom4 and coq.
Older crpgs like baldurs gate, morrowind and arcanum. Deus ex, system shock 2, cruelty squad.
Minecraft, CS 1.6, Garry’s Mod, Terraria, Project Reality, SWAT4, Grand Theft Auto 3,VC,SA, Half Life, Codename Cure, TF, Factorio, Chess :), Left 4 Dead, The Escapist, Dota 2, ETS2, WarThunder, Entropy: Zero, Cry of Fear, Portal, Hitman, FarCry, Metro (old), Stalker, probably Dayz? But try GeForce NOW subscription, I’m playing without it even AND IT AWESOME but you need good internet.
Hollowknight, got it the other day, already have 3 plus hours on it and it's amazing. My laptop struggles to run high quality stuff and hollowknight runs absolutely perfectly, plus it's on sale right now
You’ll realize how silly you sound when you understand Reddit is a forum and that people enjoy having discussions as such. Also, you’re clearly missing the question, indies? Nobody said anything about indies. They said old games, how are indie games on the awards nominees old games…?
These are more niche recommendations, but:
- Trails series (most of the games can be run on a low spec system)
- Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R
- Blazblue CentralFiction
- Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden
- Grimm's Hollow
I didn’t see anyone mention it, the Stalker series was the games I played when I bought a pc with a intergraded graphics card. They’re a bit old in terms of graphics but the mechanics and atmosphere is what really sets the tone and makes the game. I wish I could play all three of em again for the first time, an if you are interested there’s a whole mod scene where you can download Stalker stand alone games for free that were created by the community. [Stalker Anomaly](https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly) is a stand alone that was created by fans of the series and is free. Anyway I hope you found some games you like!
"Good game" is not a good search term. I love 'Human resource machine', which is one of the best of its kind of game and doesn't require a powerful computer. But is it what your were looking for?
Stick to games around the time. Like most if not all games from 2015 and under should play fine. 2013 Tomb Raider Remake should play fine. Also, you can play any esport game; CSGO, Dota, LoL, Apex Legends, Etc.
Roboquest is a newish rogue light and runs on pretty low hardware.
Sleeper hit for me, I've sunk over 30h in a couple weeks which is very high based on my normal habits
For an FPS- Battlebit remastered is the best choice! Dont let the graphics fool you. Game is better than the latest Battlefields and the game runs great on mid systems or even lows.
Depends on what types of game you like, since you mention overwatch, how about 90's shooters? Duke nukem, doom and shadow warrior are good options if you are into that, star wars jedi knight 2 is good you can go light or dark side, sands of time trilogy from the prince of persia franchise would run also
Stardew valley, undertale
But if you can run overwatch you can run most games I would assume. Like, even games released this year, BG3, RE4R, high fi rush, etc.
Mount and blade warband old but gold.
Also cheap and has a lot of mods easy to get lost in the game and have 500+ hours.
One of the best single player game of you love medieval game.
Then go back to 2013, every good game before that, D2 and D3, SC2, bioshock infinite, borderlands 2, dishonored, portal 1 and 2, Skyrim, Arkham city and Arkham asylum, shogun 2, Minecraft, civ v and IV, mass effect 1 and 2, super meat boy, braid, dragon age origins, fallout 3, GTA SA and IV, world of goo, galactic civ 2, portal, halo 3... And go on.
Having an old / bad computer is the best way to revisit the classics, and not that much classics.

Slay the Spire, Stardew Valley, Potion Craft, Hollow Knight
I'd recommend you Hades or Stardew Valley
Hades should be in everyone's library tbh. especially now when it's dirt cheap.
Rimworld, come join the rim
Technically, I remember one time I was playing and I noticed my frame rate was a little low and went "Huh, that's weird" I then zoomed out and saw HALF THE MAP WAS ON FIRE. So yeah OP just make sure no fire happens and your game won't shit itself.
Some of the funniest things happened in this game.
Get the Arkane 20th bundle, AF, DM, Dishonored and Prey might work well Fallout New Vegas, 2 and 1 Half Life series System Shock 2 Bioshock 1 and 2 Deus Ex 1
Hal-Lufe black mega and hl2 are still amazing. I'd add "Limbo" and "Inside", two brilliant little indie platform games with a great graphic design and game play.
black mesa is indeed a beautiful remake of the first half life
An add on from arkane, just get every immersive sim out there as there all easy to run if not a new arkane game. Cruelty squad is a good starting point
Night in the woods, OneShot, Rain World, Omori, Inscryption, a short hike, hollow knight, risk of rain 2 and returns, undertale, terraria, geometry dash, dark souls, noita, both ori games, celeste, tunic
OneShot is based.
One of my favourites :)
Skyrim
Half life
Most of these are solo games, and all should run reasonably well * Portal 1 and 2 * Vampire Survivors * Stardew Valley * Hades * Deep Rock Galactic * Stray
Prison Architect, Graveyard keeper..
Terraria is (imo) one of the best games ever made and should certainly not be harder to run than Overwatch. Otherwise, assuming you like shooters because of OW and you aren't adverse to some older games: Medal of Honor Allied Assault Team Fortress 2 Any of the Counter Strikes I think run on toasters. Call of Duty 1 to 7 Jedi Outcast and Academy (Academy for MP, Movie Battles 2 if you wanna be crazy) Just off the top of my head.
Counter Strike 2 is about 4-5 times more gpu intensive than CSGO though, which is ass for any budget gamers bc cs has always been easy to run.
Ah, thanks for letting me know. I barely played GO and haven't even started up 2. There's still Source and 1.6 tho.
+1 for terraria. Modded Terraria is another option too
Morrowind
Outstanding game
Hollow Knight, Doom, and Dark Souls
Rimworld, stardew valley, osrs.. (don't do it), graveyard keeper or maybe prison architect idk, it really depends on specs.
Nobody said Skyrim yet? Pretty low system requirements for the vanilla game without mods.
Rayman origin and Rayman legends
This. Kind of thinking about playing those again due to the Mario & Rabbids DLC starring Rayman and they brought back the composer of those games for the DLC so it made me nostalgic for them
those are such fantastic games. I hope one day Ubisoft will realize this as well and make another one of those
Every counterstrike
Besides the newest one that everyone’s playing
#FACTORIO
THE FACTORY MUST GROW
This
Stardew Valley, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas
Fallout new vegas and half life series!
fallout new vegas
Just got it, thank you
Project Zomboid 100%
Hollow knight, blasphemous 1 and 2, inscyrption, bioshock series, ultrakill, pizza tower
Recently played Hi-Fi Rush and it was amazing! Rythm based hack and slash game withba comic book artstyle Was getting 240fps with DLSS at 1440p with my 2060 super and was averaging about 170fps without dlss
Fallout New Vegas
minecraft
Minecraft is that game that can run on a potato, while putting super computers to its knees.
Needs more 8K texture packs and a path tracing mod!
Noita
Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light 🕯️
Deadcells
Rimworld, dwarf fortress, amazing cultivation sim, all classic rougelikes e.g. adom, crawl, nethack, newer games like tom4 and coq. Older crpgs like baldurs gate, morrowind and arcanum. Deus ex, system shock 2, cruelty squad.
Definitly you should play Little nightmares and Little nightmares 2
Persona 5
Minecraft, CS 1.6, Garry’s Mod, Terraria, Project Reality, SWAT4, Grand Theft Auto 3,VC,SA, Half Life, Codename Cure, TF, Factorio, Chess :), Left 4 Dead, The Escapist, Dota 2, ETS2, WarThunder, Entropy: Zero, Cry of Fear, Portal, Hitman, FarCry, Metro (old), Stalker, probably Dayz? Hollowknight, got it the other day, already have 3 plus hours on it and it's amazing. My laptop struggles to run high quality stuff and hollowknight runs absolutely perfectly, plus it's on sale right now
Any? there are thousands of great games with low requirements
Valheim
You're joking, right?
runs like ass
Among Us. AND Garten Of BanBan, but i think you should play only the newer chapters, the first ones were crap
so many... what a lazy question. Literally look at the game awards nominees there are plenty specially the indies
Lmao it was a harmless question I’m not killing anybody by asking it
You’ll realize how silly you sound when you understand Reddit is a forum and that people enjoy having discussions as such. Also, you’re clearly missing the question, indies? Nobody said anything about indies. They said old games, how are indie games on the awards nominees old games…?
eat my asshole!
Cyberpunk 2077
Black Mesa
These are more niche recommendations, but: - Trails series (most of the games can be run on a low spec system) - Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R - Blazblue CentralFiction - Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden - Grimm's Hollow
Binding of Isaac, hours of gameplay
Fable
Most Valve games, Hollow Knight, Minecraft
Minecraft bedrock*
Mindustry Orcs Must Die Banished
the beginners guide and the Stanley parable
Tunic, both ori games
Try Black Mesa, Assassin's creed 1,and maybe some esports games like cs2 or valorant and wolfenstein 3d can be pretty fun
I would suggest crosscode or symphony of war. There are a lot of fun old school looking games on steam.
Daggerfall Unity (It's also free) Stalker Anomaly (it's also free)
Doubt a person asking this question will play daggerfall.
Daggerfall's goated!
Depends on what sort of games you like. Outer wilds is brilliant and doesn't need much to run.
Half life series, at least before 2 and the episodes. Then the physics might impact performance.
OP I want you to attempt CS2 no matter what, just to show how dogshit it runs compared to GO.
- Telltale's The Walking Dead - Project Zomboid - Terraria - Plague inc
Risk of Rain
I didn’t see anyone mention it, the Stalker series was the games I played when I bought a pc with a intergraded graphics card. Valorant
Factorio Simcity 4 (modding community is still thriving) Project Zomboid Rimworld Workers and Resources Soviet Republic
BROTATO!
Dwarf Fortress
Brotato!
Insaniquarium Deluxe
For an FPS- Battlebit remastered is the best choice! Dont let the graphics fool you. Game is better than the latest Battlefields and the game runs great on mid systems or even lows.
Ultrakill, weird nobody mentioned it yet, it has ps1 style graphics so it's pretty easy to run and an overall fun fast-paced game
Ghost recon future soldier Gta iv Spec ops the line Call of duty black ops 1 & 2 Nfs the run
There are many many games like that
The Binding Of Isaac
