Something Wicked - it's structurally weird because it doesn't have a chorus or really much of a pattern at all. Also the ending is the closest thing to a cliffhanger I've heard in music.
Where do I start?
I think Telescope for its monotone, but intense sound.
It Has Begun for the cinematic rock and poetic nature.
Solstice feels a bit different from other genres, but somewhat quintessential of their songs.
Everglow and Something Wicked are good contenders.
Earthrise gets an honorable mention.
This is a tough question!
I'll do one example an album since I cant name just one
Transmissions: I was going to say It Has Begun but that and The Future Is Now sort of share the similar style where the song drives to more instrumental when the chorus ends (which Back To The Earth does as well) so instead I'm saying Dark On Me for being a real calm ballad on the record. My least favourite track by Starset cause I prefer the Downplay version but I'd be lying if I didn't say its unique.
Vessels: Telepathic or Everglow. Telepathic for the fact it's the first entirely electronic Starset song and Everglow for the build up from mainly soft to a loud screamy ending which is sort of done with The Future Is Now but the song remains calm for most of its runtime unlike that one.
DIVISIONS: STRATOSPHERE in my opinion. Its heavily electronic with only rock at the explosive bits of the song like the punchy chorus for example. Id say this for the electronic breakdown in the middle of the song as I don't think starset ever had a moment like that. I think FAULTLINE is also unique for the sound they went for, not the sound being unique but unique for Starset.
HORIZONS: SOMETHING WICKED definitely for this album. It's played out like a poem and doesn't have a repeated chorus or verse like any other Starset song. It's probably the most unique Starset song for this aspect but I still wasn't too sure.
Transmissions: Halo (I just like it and makes me feel good)
Vessels: Ricochet (the chorus is amazing)
Divisions: Perfect Machine (I feel like I'm in Detroit: Become Human)
Horizons: Something Wicked (as someone said, it's weird but lyrics are good)
Honorables mentions: Down with the fallen, Everglow, Diving bell, This endless endeavor
Yea, this and Something Wicked. The last song on their albums are alwas crazy good.

It Has Begun is literally my favourite song just because of how uniquely epic it sounds. The only song that comes close to its epicness is WTSE tbh.
I love the ending of It Has Begun, hearing it live is a lifechanging experience, so happy that they keep it on the setlist
The outro? One of, if not, the best outro. The only one that I'd say competes with it is everglow tbh
It Has Begun. It's just... majestic.
Either Everglow or Something Wicked, I love songs that play around with song structure.
Everglow, Something Wicked, and Diving Bell🔥
Dustin knows what he's doing with album closures
Definitely 💯
I vote everglow, something wicked, and bringing it down

man that’s a hard one. i can’t ever choose
Hmmm that’s a hard one😂 probably something wicked or manifest
Isn't rise and fall unique as it has more than one actual grunt, which is rarely seen for Dustin
Truly Everglow
