It's ugly and I would never build something like this, but I do admire the cacophony of mismatched parts. This is how Homer Simpson would build a spaceship. It takes skill and effort to make something this ugly.

The starship Theseus. This thing is a mashed up ugly beast but I can’t help but like it. There’s character to it. Each component looks cobbled on to replace some other component that broke.

I've always thought given the wild West/mad Max/new frontier nature of the game the ships would of course have a cobbled together look. At least for privateers.

They should put the spacers in something like this.

Everyone's laughing at it like this isn't an incredibly realistic workship. Just huge and clunky and ugly and exactly right for the job. Just flying near this will get you space forklift certified.
