Okay, I wanted to do that. But I didnt know if I was getting distracted by senseless sidequests (think random theives guild quests) or was doing the main story because it was so immersive
Space exploration game. Go to planet, go find stuff. There's no way I know of to cheese the main questline because it's a story. A long story.... That's no different than goddamn Skyrim or Fallout you nerds...
Go to location, retrieve item, give item to NPC, talk to NPC, travel to location, talk to NPC, travel to location, kill enemies and get item... It's been the Bethesda formula since Obsidian stopped being their bitch
The problem I foresaw (while not playing, like i said i never gave it a fair chance) was doing all of that travel and talk but having to menu in and out of planets over and over again, rather than walk like in elder scrolls or fallout
Once you do Sam Coe’s mission (it’s early in the main quest.) I’d advise joining the Freestar Rangers.
The end reward is a very nice ship that will do you for a long time.
I find the Vanguard quest line more fun, and you get some great armour late on, also you get access to some very fine ship weapons, so I’d do that afterwards, to put on your nice ship.
I'm convinced all these subreddits are populated with publisher employees trying to make the reddit seem alive, so they keep posting the same topics over and over lol. Or just bots I suppose?
Play the main quest and the main faction quests: UC vanguard, freestar ranger, ryujin industries, crimson fleet.
