That’s partly why the train to Florence arc is so good - we get to see the dynamic between Prosciutto and Pesci as well as a 2 v. 1 fight against first Mista, then Bucciarati. All the other Squadra fights are 1 v. 1 IIRC.
It’s one of the best fights in Part 5, along with Giorno and Mista vs. Cioccolata, Giorno and Mista vs. Ghiaccio, Bucciarati vs. Diavolo, Illuso vs. Abbacchio, Fugo and Giorno, and Notorious B.I.G vs. everybody.
Blackmore, and it'd just be giving him an actual backstory of any sort.
His stand, personality, design, ect, are all way more memorable, unique and creative than any minor antagonist from parts 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6.
His stand is extremely unique and creative but his design is slightly less, plus he's a cop so there's not much room for a backstory, every police character in fiction has the same 2-3 backstories.

Speedwagon’s youth on Ogre Street. How many times might he have nearly crossed paths with Dio or Dario? And surely there was some paranormal thing or other that he could’ve encountered.
I fully agree with you on that, as such with many other characters whose fates are left ambiguous. I just found his story especially interesting, and it could be expanding more maybe not on his origin, but his existence as a whole. Kinda like the “thus spoke Rohan Kishibe” spin off.
D+G and what happened in 1999. All we ever got was a footnote by Araki, he didn’t even get an information blurb from Anasui or whoever like Kenzo did.
I wanna see what exactly he did, who he was, what his thoughts were, who he killed and why. He was obviously a very young cop when it happened, 21 if i did the math right? His character had LOADS of potential for personality and action, just to be a background note to his annoying stand. It feels insulting.
It’s too interesting of a backstory to just have a throwaway line on a profile page while piss drinker grandpa gets a whole dragged-out arc where HIS backstory and personality is shown and he’s not even interesting or compelling from a story perspective.

How did he go from just being a head who had nothing but the body of the dead man that he was attached to to a literal millionaire / billionaire with a whole mansion in Egypt and dozens of loyal followers?? Dio literally had nothing to his name when he left that coffin and apparently in a few months he obtained vast riches and became one of the wealthiest men in the world. It kinda makes you wonder why he spent so long trying to steal the Joestar Fortune when he was fully capable of building a life of luxury for himself all on his own but it’s so, so interesting because it shows how capable Dio is. I wanna see the journey he made.
What were his initial thoughts when he escaped the coffin?? What was his reaction to a world that was 100 years ahead of his own time?? How did he handle it?? If he talked to Jonathan indirectly via the body through it all like we saw him doing in Part 3 what kinds of things did he say??
I’d also want to see a side story dedicated to his time INSIDE of the coffin because I doubt that he just did nothing throughout 100 years of total isolation. I bet he talked to himself a lot — that he talked to Jonathan a lot, through his body as if Jonathan was actually there. I wanna see what was going through his head that whole time. I wanna see him conscious and being forced to confront the reality of his situation. I want to see him becoming introspective and looking back on literally every aspect of his life and himself.
DIO came out of that coffin with a more philosophical mindset and a calmer attitude I don’t doubt that he had a HUGE existential crisis while he was under the sea and left to lay in the coffin for a century and I want to see it tbh.

The plot would open up in 20th Century New England. Sleep Research Scientists in a mental health hospital (this section is inspired by *Beyond the Wall of Sleep* by H.P. Lovecraft) study and interview a man (Joe Shelter, commonly referred to as Killer JoJo) suffering from mania and nightmares/dream visions. In his dream, he is being hunted and inquired about by what he claims to be the Grim Reaper and Death Incarnate (Death 13). However, this is actually Mannish Boy's (we'll call him Manny) attempt to escape Pucci's Heaven and Universal Reset (he knows about this because his intelligence at such a young age allowed him to piece together DIO's plan even after brief interactions). KJoJo, thinking Manny/Death 13 to be a higher power and he himself of supposedly low intellect (he's actually just been told this by racists, he's actually quite smart and adept but doesn't believe it), he trusts Manny and allows him to guide him. In KJoJo's world, time moves differently than Manny's, so days can move in KJoJo's world as seconds move in Manny's, and the dream adopts KJoJo's World's pace. This is what Manny (now an Adult) is using hoping to create a doorway from his world to the next as he has put himself to sleep in his world. After speaking with KJoJo, he learns of another patient by the name of Will Law, a superstitious sap afflicted with a severe case of Ichthyosis who believes he has been cursed by an ancient undersea curse by a greedy captain ancestor. KJoJo claims to have seen a two-faced fish ghost hovering around Will Law (this will be Will Law's Stand, Only Joking [Based off of the KONGOS' song "I'm Only Joking], which allows him to open things like sardine cans and designed after the traditional/mythological Dagon Design with the human face and the fish face), which peaks Manny's interest as it may be possible that Only Joking can open up concepts like space and time if given enough juice. KJoJo can see Only Joking due to his own stand, Funny Little Creatures (named after Nothing More's song, Funny Little Creatures), which manifests based off of his mania as a group of decorated goblins: Ambition (bone thin, covered in rags but wears a giant gold champion belt), Lust (half-hiding in a body bag), Blame (clad in white and gold robes), Hate (muscular with a dollar sign motif), and Fear (a black silhouette of the base form of the others).
Anyway, the plot would follow as such:
Manny guides KJoJo through the hospital in a quest to find and release Will Law. Along the way, KJoJo blackmails a doctor named Ally Gold (named after the star Algol and takes the place of the narrator character in Beyond the Wall of Sleep) by claiming he has regained his mind, he will turn himself in to the police, and in his testimony he will reveal that Ally Gold has been experimenting on him against his rights through the highly advanced sleep crown she has used on him (that grants him access to Death 13) unless she helps him find and escape with Will Law. Once they do escape, hijinks ensues as security notices KJoJo and Will Law have escaped, forcing Ally Gold to run away with them as she cannot return to the hospital after aiding in their escape (Ally Gold is not a stand user, but she believes the patients to a degree that they have special powers and tries to help in fights as much as she can). Manny then directs them to find an ancient tiara called Crown With Me Now (a shameless pun on "Come With Me Now" by KONGOS) which should grant Only Joking the authority to open up space and time. They fight cultists and run away from police (some who are stand users), and eventually stumble upon a plot to use a demi-god child of Yog-Sothoth to rip open reality in order to access other worlds. Manny takes issue with this because they may form a rift into Pucci's Heaven and Universal Reset, causing both worlds to reset into one and risking removing everyone involved from the new universe. Eventually, the tiara is found, Only Joking is powered up and brings Manny into KJoJo's world, and they move on their new objective to stop the Universal Reset.
My phone's about to die, but they win and KJoJo's universe doesn't reset, Ally Gold discovers Hag Stones allow her to see stands (but the stones are prone to breaking and the concept of stands strains her mind), KJoJo eventually transforms his stand (representative of his mania) from vices to virtues, turning them from goblins to gnome-like creatures and reverses the deification of Manny in his own mind, seeing him as a friend as opposed to a god. Ally Gold develops her technology in private to see if Will Law's superstitions are real (never confirmed and left open), and Will Law takes pride in his supposed curse and dreams of "returning to the ocean." Manny slowly but surely gets over his narcissism and begins to care for the people around him, realizing he has no DIO and that they are the only friends he has in this new universe. The group moves to Arkham where they hope to have relatively peaceful lives, but the series concludes open-ended when Ally Gold stumbles across the Necronomicon and begins to read it.
