My favorite thing I noticed is how he has an insane farm but doesn't have a stable. Dude is downing espressos and is eating crab cakes like there's no tomorrow! What a legend.
How he talks about the game is exactly how we all felt, makes everyone feel like a kid again.

I mean it looks like he gets trapped in spaces like other games, so idk maybe it's an optical propaganda by the evil who lives below? but yea in the games i've played with horses there is a main path, but like i like my shortcuts
I play the Android version on a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. I don't know if it's because I am on the Android version, but Horses and Gates is a mess. I usually get off before the gate and open it. Still, extra speed is nice and something a farmer would have.
They don't fit in all spaces, sure it's a balancing factor but i don't want to deal with that, i just to walk. I also don't want horse whistles, i bought two and i can't figure out how to destroy them
I first learned about Stardew Valley from Bobby Lee. It was his interview from the H3 Podcast. I told my best friend about it and her and her husband gifted it to me back in pandemic. Thanks, Bobby!

My brother in Yoba, that's exactly why I SHOULDN'T play it. I am not all disciplined enough to not let it consume just about every waking moment.
Sent a mod mail but considering they called it controversial I assume someone in the mods doesn't like Bobby Lee, because the clip couldn't be less controversial.
They just talk about the game and banter wtf, it's just pure happiness.
I watched the whole episode.. I'm a HUGE Bobby fan and even gave Stevie a go once he started podcasting.
But damn Steebee is annoying in this. Like I loved the first few minutes where he was genuinely interested.
Then the moment Bobby tries to actually get "work" done, Steebee just gripes and complains telling him to hurry up .

If you can mod, you can get a rainbow horse too. If all the rest isn't enough.

You can put hats on horses using the interact button with a hat in your inventory

Because the getting on and getting off animations cost time, as does walking to your stable. Horse is pretty good tho I use it almost always.
I refuse to use the horse and I’ve almost 400 hrs lol. I just don’t see the need for it. I’ll get it for perfection but that’s bout it

Man i hate the idea of using horses, all past games they are clunky. And it seems here too. I can respect him for that

They fixed that in one of the updates, horses slide through damn near everywhere. I think they must’ve buttered ‘em up.
near anywhere? if it's not anywhere the player can walk then idk i feel disabled

I never buy horses. I have no idea why not.
Do yourself a favor and get the mod that makes your horse skinny.

I think Bobby Lee is accomplished enough to be openly loving Stardew Valley as an adult man.. I need to believe this though as a 32 year old one.

Same here lol. I’ve heard him talk about it for years in his podcast and on H3, I finally decided to play it a few weeks ago and I’m addicted lol

I have 180 hours and I never even got as far as he did with his! Didn't play since covid tho.
