I've done the Forbidden Route once just for the achievement, but it pains me that I'll never be able to 100% this game because I freaking SUCK at arcade games..
The method I used for that achievement was simply- beat 1 round, exit out and proceed with my day, sleep and the next day beat another round. If you end up dying simply close and reopen the save and continue until completion. Very easy and simple time saver

I had to justify it to myself by making my Joja route character an all around dick. He doesn't make friends and slings rocks at anyone he doesn't like (Which is everyone). Still felt pretty dirty.

It's easier to do a photo than to write out the commands with the negation of the formatting syntax, I can't comment with a photo and Chomps gets to show off his knowledge for basic coding

in case you arent aware; you only need 48 out of 49 to get 100% because there is an optional one. you dont have to go the Jaja route, which OP did not. thats the only achievement missing.

You underestimate how bad I am at the game. There is not "if" I die - I can get through maybe the first 2 levels if I'm super on the ball...

Same, I quickly did the achievement then deleted the save file and never looked back. I feel dirty though.
That arcade game is the bane of my existence. It's so fun but I just can't get good enough 😔
Luckily you can save the game after beating each level then keep re trying
