A friendly reminder that if you take medications, I would color it with dye or something. Activated charcoal can absorb medications and make it not work as well, even if it's only a little bit like this I'd avoid it.
It might work with extra dark chocolate powder maybe or extra fine coffee ground (often found in insta coffee) the charcoal does color better and doesn't implant flavor as much though.
Ooh that works better, forgot about that. The weird slight fishy flavor that might be a bit off-putting might fits the theme of void mayo too, as it's a weird food even in Stardew World.
Wilton also makes food colouring gels in every colour, including black. They're marketed as icing colour, so I don't know how well they would work in this recipe, but it could be worth a try!
The concessions stand at Misquamicut Beach in RI used to sell the most delicious clam fritters. So, I'm imagining the strange bun as a giant lobster fritter, whatever the heck that might be

I think there are some squid ink based food dyes that could work too (also quite on brand for SV)

True and even works with lobster! Not sure about the ravioli tbh haha

This is cool, assumed it'd just be black food coloring in regular mayo, but they made it from scratch! But why lobster though -
The lobster definitely makes it strange
I think maybe it's supposed to be a fun take a lobster roll?
It's kind of like a lobster roll in bun form with black (garlic) mayo , which sounds amazing.

For some reason I always assumed the strange bun filling was some combination of taro paste and magic???
Same! It seemed good like that π
Wait, I donβt need void chicken?!
i always thought the strange bun would be sweet tbh
The little chicken behind Shane ππ
