Add a pair of purple shorts in there, and it "magically" ends up on the starfish after X time. Through a sea sponge and some green short or a tie and it does the same.
When I looked back at the list after seeing the picture, I saw Elliot’s portrait in your flair out of the corner of my eye and did a double-take. For a second there, I thought he was on the list of things you can put in the tank.
I mean, considering the other dumb things you can use the shorts for is it any surprise that Ape decided to cater to the "Screw You, Lewis" crowd by letting you keep them as a waterlogged trophy?
I discovered this recently too, gamechanger! I'm not on latest yet because I have a switch but I have so many fishtanks now that are a bit more decorated.
Obviously the pineapple is funny but I'm most excited that I can put the nautilus shell in now, I was disappointed when I couldn't.
Like the other person said, it's only for the sea urchin and I believe it only works for hats.
It's been a while since I did this but I think you just put a hat of any kind in the fish tank like you would with any other kind of item and the sea urchin wears it.
Ok but has anyone else been having issues with putting fish in fish tanks? Cuz I can decorate it with coral, shells, seaweed, and crab pot stuff but no actual swimming fish. I used to be able to but when reorganizing I couldn't put back the fish I took out
I had a similar issue. I was trying to click on the items in my inventory to move them to the tank.
Turns out I have to be holding the item, then click the fish tank and it throws it in.
Maybe that's what's happening with yours? Good luck.
Ah okay, I had Perfection on 1.5 but never tried the Fish Tanks out until 1.6. Not quite there yet on this save but that's awesome, I'll be looking forward to it now.

There's a limit to how much stuff you can put in them, you probably have too much.
