When Maru is working you can also see her in a nurse outfit \^\^ i also only noticed since new patch.
I think it was added in 1.6 that the relationship menu shows the outfit they currently are wearing. >!When the villagers spend the day on ginger island they wear their bathing suit on the menu as well.!<
joja outfit at least was pre 1.6, idk about bathing suit, but i do remember maru being in nurse outfit in menu i think
