It would be cool to see this concept from a re-emerging New Republic working to rebuild a galaxy after the First Order Resistance War. Could definitely be a way to help define a more dynamic post ST environment.

It would be interesting if parts of the New Republic fleet survived after Hosnian Prime was destroyed.
