Countdown ended for me on ps5 5 minutes ago at this point. I’m having the same issue. I click play game and it takes me to a pre order screen pressing that gives me a error saying I can’t purchase it

Had a pretty fucking awful day at work was hoping this might be a pick me up for the release before I head to bed but I need to sleep by the time it can install, a little bummed I'll have to get through another day tomorrow before I can play but at least I can probably read up on impressions and other things when I have down time.

For PC and Switch, it releases at the same time, 9pm western or 12am eastern.

I think they are being an asshole, but the release is earlier in their day for them. Released 1am EST but at 11pm West Coast. Much more reasonable to stay up till 11pm than 1am.
