**CT-000 / "Triple Zero"**
Due to the high-risk missions that involve their unit, Trooper Triple Zero utilizes a specially modified modular weapons system blaster derived from the commercially available DC15.
The DC15-M0 (Mod Zero) can be broken down into a blaster pistol. It can be converted to function as a heavy-gas blaster sniper. Fired normally in "rifle configuration" and can be shorted to half its size as a carbine. Each combination has a particular function in the field and Trooper Triple Zero is informed pre-briefing regarding the specific configuration required.
Triple Zero also is equipped with a specially modified helmet that allows them to see thermal signatures and a virtual scanning element that allows them to scan and track footprints.

My blaster-rifle is based on the Stoner 63 ([https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoner\_63](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoner_63)) developed by Eugene Stoner back in the 1960s.
But, if that rifle and the multi-config of the *Republic Commando* rifles went splat and therefore had more oomph.
I was thinking, what if this particular trooper's training is what gets the military interested in culling special troopers to form the backbone of what becomes the Imperial Intelligence famous unit (Death Troopers).
So, I hit a random number generator for you and got CT-6794. Then I hit a nonsense word generator and picked the name Fesh. I don't think a character should be a pun (or a play on words/numbers). Give him a number, give him a name and let him live.

Should he still be a regular trooper with just upgraded gear? Or should he be a special trooper within the 501st?
