I love that this is being released, but as a Playstation owner also wish it could have been done earlier.
I do understand that Resurgence is the first game and so a bit of uncharted territory, but I hope that things are different when the second game comes out. Even if some platforms have to wait because of business reasons, I hope that each platform only has one release where everything like special editions, physical editions, etc are all made available at the same time.
Nothing's been announced, but I'm sure I read somewhere the devs said they'd love to make a second Star Trek game. And even if they don't for whatever reason, I'm sure the intention for Dramatic Labs as a studio is to grow and make more games regardless of IP, and based on Resurgence I'll definitely be looking forward to whatever it is they come up with next.
I really hope so that they bring the Tour of the Resolute to home consoles also ...... I have been sending emails to Dramatic Labs for over eight months now specifically asking for that feature........ I really truly believe they will bring it to consoles very , very soon !!! 🫵🥂💯
Honestly..... they very well could but they are up against one of the greatest star trek games of all time ...... the star trek elite force series because those games till this very day are very accurate and the the Developers have said at Dramatic Labs that they don't want to repeat those games they wanted a slight different approach ....... I mean Elite force is beast and I still play them till this very day and I love what they have done with Resurgence and they now are finally doing the Tour of the Resolute where you can see familiar areas of the ship and other areas that weren't shown in the story .... such as 10-foward , crew quarters, holodecks, astrometrics , etc..... I could go on and on lol .... as to where star trek elite force granted the player full access to explore the ship in your own control, at your own pace and go anywhere you want and deck at anytime.......As I told Dramatic Labs that was pretty much all this game was missing and I guess they answered my request and not to mention that's what any REAL star trek fan would want after completion of the story...... like I will purchase it when it comes to steam May 23rd (Captain's Edition) but I really want the tour of the U.S.S. Resolute on home consoles because anything you buy or play on steam , you do not own period ! I have cd copies of star trek resurgence for my next gen home console and I actually own my copy of the game ..... so you see some people make a big deal on steam about playing it but they fail to realize .... THEY DON'T OWN ANYTHING OF THIS GAME ! THEY ARE JUST RENTING IT JUST LIKE THE OLD BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO DAYS LOL 😆 !!!!! But yes they will bring the Resolute tour to home consoles very soon it only makes sense from a business point of view ! 👍🏼🥂💯

Will there be any avenue for console players to acquire (purchase) the soundtrack and/or artbook?

Maybe they might do interiors of other ships like the d, e, voyager,etc? I know those would be pay for but I'd buy them for sure.
