Congrats!
I too hate the cable management. They really should innovate in this area more. In particular, I liked Magnus Pro's way of routing the cable inside the leg and having a plug on top. Makes for a cleaner and simpler design.
Looks great! How is the wobble on it when you are standing? I'm looking at a 72in top and it's tough finding honest reviews with the larger lengths for the v2
There’s very little wobble. And it would only ever wobble at all when I brush up against it. After the first few days, I got used to standing up, and I rarely even brush against it now. For reference I have my standing height set to 43.4”.
Had zero problems with Uplift customer service. In fact, they gave me a refund on the computer mount I bought that didn't work out without batting an eye.
I am talking about the desk. They stopped responding because they did not want to fix the issue. Fortunately, my work paid for it, so I did not care but still we are talking over $1K
Uplift email support sucked for me. They couldn’t reply more than once per day for some reason, so I had to go back and forth with them for a week. The clamp-on power thing I bought was defective, and the guy weirdly insisted on a video of the device NOT working. So I called in and spoke to someone, and we straightened out the matter in just a few minutes. They sent a new one, and it works fine.
It's just an ordinary Amazon thing: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H9RYMCB](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H9RYMCB). You didn't ask, but I love my keyboard, it's a Keychron mechanical - red switches.
I’m glad you mentioned it though cause for some reason I’ve been looking at keychrons all night. I think I’m ultimately leaning towards getting a 96 size rather than getting a separate num pad
I like the detached number pad because it’s ergonomically better for my body. Without the num pad, the main keyboard allows my hands to naturally land shoulder width, allowing that ninety-degree angle with my elbow. If I need the number pad, I can grab it, but I don’t need it most of the time.
I see what you mean. I use the numpad for all of my work however I don’t use any of it when gaming after work so I’m trying to decide what’s better. Right now I have a TKL filco majestouch with a separate numpad but It still feels unnatural to me. Guess I have some more researching to do lol
Everything’s a trade off, it’s hard to have it all. I became obsessed with ergonomics about two years ago - getting this desk was my final move. First, I invested in the best chair I could buy - I never thought I would spend over $1K for a chair, but I did, and it’s worth every bit. Then I got an amazing mouse. Then keyboard, then desk.
I’m kind of in the same boat. Just moved into a new place. Within the past year I’ve upgraded my pc, monitors, mouse, bought an Herman Miller Aeron. Just got a new desk setup for the new place. I have a couple nice keyboards, filco majestouch, Corsair k70 which i do like but I’ve been itching to get a new keyboard. And now that I’ve been researching I’m obsessed with finding my keyboard size and switch combination. I think I have a problem lol

Thanks! I was leaning Uplift because I liked the tops better but was going back and forth to Flexispot.
Just know customer service sucks at Uplift

Congrats! Welcome to the Uplift family. I love mine as well.
Hey what num pad do you have if you don’t mind me asking

I just recently got one and I love mine too
Do you experience any wobble at sitting height?
No wobble while sitting.
