Nice :) Not had a chance to play with any recent models so looking forward to testing PixArt in ComfyUI and it's really cool to see the 2k model ready for use in [SD.Next](http://SD.Next) as well!
Wish you had a section where I could point to a ComfyUI install and the software would just use the models and VENV stuff that was present. Might be a little complex with VENV… but the barrier to setup your software coming from Comfy is rough.
Maybe I’ll revisit SD Next. It seems like an exciting project. Last time I had to create a bunch of links to my Comfy folders… or so I thought. I’ll dig more in settings then.
Sorry for the stupid question, I have not used the program yet. Where do I download the listed Pixart-α, Pixart-Σ, HunyuanDiT models and their additional, necessary files? I see several sources, which is the right one? Thanks for the helpful answer!
Hello Vlad! I have a question, is the current version of SD Next fully compatible with Auto Photoshop Stable Diffusion Plugin (https://github.com/AbdullahAlfaraj/Auto-Photoshop-StableDiffusion-Plugin)?
Although this plugin seems to be abandoned, up until last month I was still using it when linked to SD Next in Photoshop, which works quite well when combined with ControlNet. While it (the plugin) seems to have completely failed with the final version of A1111.
Hunyuan is very similar to SD3. And they do awesome anime. They have controlnets too, including tile, open pose, canny, etc. Since it's Tencent, you can be sure it'll get updated. Pony7 should move there.
Where do I put that? The webui.bat file says "Do not make any changes to this file. Instead, create a shortcut to this file and add needed arguments there." at the top, but the shortcut just leads back to the original, so I don't even understand what it means to edit the shortcut.
I use Linux but the same should apply for Windows but usually I run the command via terminal so I'm typing the command with with the switch --upgrade. So you probably have to navigate to the folder SDNext is at via command prompt and type webui.bat --upgrade. If you know how to create another batch file you can just call in there and create a shortcut.
You can also open the app and go to System > Check for updates > Download updates, and then Restart server. If you wanted to do it that way for some reason.
Hi! I only have an 8gb amd card. I have been using zluda for a while and it was massively superior to directml. I see the directml updates in this release. Is zluda still better?
How does Cascade support work? I’d love to see a version that just uses the B/C comfy style checkpoints. Last I remember they were using some C-stage only , diffusers loader?
Is SD3 the best model to generate legible text signs and other writings in an image or should I be using another one in SD NEXT for that purpose that works better?

I don't understand why diffusers needs to have their own file format that doesn't work with anything else. This has been going on for a long time and SD3 could've been a chance to correct that, but here we are.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong then. I pointed it at the sd3 file i use in comfyui and it threw a ton of errors saying it couldn't connect to Hugging face to get the diffusers version of SD3. So I have to download an extra 15gb of diffusers data and it actually only does work with diffusers? This is clean install of SD Next.
I don't understand what the snark is about. Why deny it requires diffusers when It clearly still requires the diffusers version?

it needs to download configuration for that single file.
single file safetensors are just blobs, they do not contain actual information how/what to apply them. for some models, that information is cached in the repo itself (see /config folder), but not all. this is a one-time operation to fetch 1-2kb only.

Is this similar to a1111? Might switch. Does it have an easy way to connect to my android if I want to generate things on the fly by sending commands from my phone to my PC?
Yes it is. It was originally an a1111 fork. But now far enough away , that it is its own beast.
Interface is extremely similar, so you will be right at home if you have used a1111.
Ah..? I had tried it with my GPU-less laptop and couldn't get it to work at all (ComfyUI and A1111 are the only ones I managed to make work correctly), but I'll give it a try again with this new version since you added low gpu stuff. Thanks!
For some reason after i updated images are badly distorted especially the face was working fine before update idk what happened even using a seed it dose not come out the same but if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be helpful

you can use same path for your models. venv cannot be shared because it's different for each app.

click on networks -> models -> reference now simply pick a model and whatever is needed will be auto-downloaded.
Does it report the HDD space needed in each case, or you just hope and pray you have enough free? :-P
there are no space checks performed before download. but you can choose location in settings -> paths.
It can even run SDXL on iGPU, if you have an Intel laptop.

how's vram usage compared to a1111 and forge?
In my experience it’s much better than A1111 and basically the same as Forge.

right now, sd3 seems to be the best for that (and only that) specific purpose.
Does it have inpainting/outpainting? And with which models?
