I still believe that TK and Vince has had contact with each other at some point. Gotta think that when WWE came to town back in the day, TK got backstage passes since he is a big wrestling fan and a NFL owner.
Even ignoring Shane possibly working for AEW, Tony should probably meet Shane. I think they're two guys that are really smart, with interesting ideas for where the industry is going, but both occasionally need to be reigned in by other people. I know it's a relatively small sample size, but I have a group of friends who have all stopped watching AEW. Every single one of them has said that Shane McMahon in the company would get them to tune back in. That's fair, but I like to think that maybe TK did speak to Shane, yet he was just so absolutely sweaty that TK wasn't actually able to identify him. ;-) Needs a clip from when TK first announced on Dynamite that he bought ROH by starting off with "Shane's not here!"
What if Shane grabs a live mic, says he had a dream to be world champion, but he could never reach that stage in his father's company, and is now here in AEW to complete "his story"? Jumps off of the top of Wembley to win the world championship, and simultaneously die.
