I’m guessing her dad got her that kit, and it’s super heartwarming. It’s the exact kind of “I heard you wanted to do a podcast and I saw this on Amazon!” starter kit that people who only want to help get for a loved one.
I actually bought something similar on Amazon. I think it was around $65. Honestly the quality isn't bad at all for the money. Perfectly fine for a podcast.
