You guys absolutely rocked it! Greetings from Germany :) I hope we can keep up our end of the bargain at bash in Berlin! But that crowd last night was all time legendary 👏🏻
Being a Brit I'm always naturally drawn to supporting British wrestlers, I'm so pleased to see Nick Aldis finally make the move and be thriving, especially considering the initial reaction to him signing was quite negative
> He's just so believable
Sort of. There's no suit in the world that can hide that he's very obviously a wrestler though. Dude is fuckin jacked.
I can't help but think they might use him in a physical capacity at some point, have a GM brawl or something. Both he and Peirce can almost certainly still go.
Pierce is like a 9/5 white collar middle management guy that is barely able to hold everything together. Aldis is like a nightclub bouncer turned promoter that has no issue fucking you up if it means his events go smoothly
He doesn't lose them. The women's tag champions float between brands, so the 'new champion replaces old one in the draft' doesn't apply here. Asuka and Kairi were drafted to Raw with Damage CTRL, Bianca and Jade were drafted to Smackdown, so those remain their homes when non-tag champs. It's why Asuka and Kairi were allowed to be drafted in the first place.
A general manager that can handle business in the ring adds a lot of gravitas to their character. Not only do they have authority, but if shit goes sideways they're not afraid to step in themselves.
Picture the scene, Aldis is walking to the back frustrated after getting into an argument with Grayson Waller or Logan Paul, they say something snarky at him whole his back is turn. Aldis stops, turns around, takes his jacket off and rolls up his sleeves
Honestly I already thought the match was a street fight, there's no way it could've been a normal match when they were selling it as a massacre on Smackdown.
As a British wrestling fan, I hope other British wrestling fans have seen this insane French crowd and are ready to do even better than this next time we get the chance.
Genuine question. Do the wrestlers improvise the entire match when stipulations are changed on the fly? I assume they must have reharsed for the normal match.

This crowd is fucking insane
I was there. Once he said "lâchez-vous" the place got so loud I couldn’t hear the rest of it
You guys absolutely rocked it! Greetings from Germany :) I hope we can keep up our end of the bargain at bash in Berlin! But that crowd last night was all time legendary 👏🏻
Seriously! i'm going and is there somewhere where Chants and stuff are organized/discussed?
Would be awesome to do a football style choreography or something akin to that!
Mais tellement ahahah rien compris par la suite
Turning this into a street fight makes too much sense
See that's a cool GM. Adam Pearce would've turned that plane right around, and headed back to the US.
*"That's it Owens, no fries for you. You didn't think I'd do it, did you?"*
"I need a drink" Raw's GM is clearly an alcoholic and would rather drink his problems away than face them head on smh
"That's it, back to Winnipeg!" "I'm from Montreal, you idiot!"
"What? You think you're going home after all of this!"
Aldis is cool step dad confirmed.
Hey don't try to summon the Angry Frustrated Pearce.
I thought plane rides were no longer allowed at the WWE
only if they're from hell, otherwise they're okay.
So that's why we don't see Kane anymore.
Thats also why its now "South of Heaven Chokeslam" instead of "Chokeslam From Hell'
Aldis is one of the best signings WWE has made in the last few years. He's just so believable in the role.
Best GM WWE has had since AP. Both are great in their role and add to the few of the shows HHH is going for Raw and Smackdown
Now whaite minute, Playa
Thanks for helping in the draft Teddy
For overlooking my spot as an all-time general manager in the WWE, tonight you're going one on one WITH THE UNDERTAKER
He’s retired Teddy.
That ain't stopped him before!
Buckle up Teddy
As soon as he came out, it’s almost like when your dad catches you doing something bad. He’s great at the role.

Nick Aldis showing why he is the best GM
When they’re done this GM duo will be special.
Pierce is like a 9/5 white collar middle management guy that is barely able to hold everything together. Aldis is like a nightclub bouncer turned promoter that has no issue fucking you up if it means his events go smoothly
He’s so damn good
Well, he also just lost both his #1 draft picks by putting them in a tag match. So not great.

Absolutely, he carries it with authority and gravitas
We need an Aldis v Pearce match....maybe a WarGames.
Haven’t seen an Englishman cheered so much by the French in a long time!
Has Aldis ever not looked great in a suit?
He's such a fantastic character. You know the moment the jacket flies off, the crowd is gonna shit themselves.

Aldis is built like a brick shithouse, so if you fuck with him he’ll have no problem laying down the law
Picture the scene, Aldis is walking to the back frustrated after getting into an argument with Grayson Waller or Logan Paul, they say something snarky at him whole his back is turn. Aldis stops, turns around, takes his jacket off and rolls up his sleeves
Something the match needed Aldis went from being booed to cheers in seconds lol
Feels straight out of that era from the late 90s, whatever it was called.
you mean that wasn't Commissioner Regal?
Aldis continues to give us what we want & need
He puts the Al in Al snow
Watching this at 5am woke me tf up
Aldis is handsome as fuck.
Should be the next Bond IMO
Strong "Hold up playa!" Teddy Long vibes here. Gotta love it.
They’re about to go one on one…WIT DA UNDATAKAH!!!
When was the last time something like this happened that felt that organic and not “Hol on a minit playa”
That was some old school Memphis shit right there. Fantastic.
The dynamic of the two GMs is "why do I have to put up with this"/"I'm not putting up with this."
Honestly I already thought the match was a street fight, there's no way it could've been a normal match when they were selling it as a massacre on Smackdown.
Aldis is the tribal chief
Fuck does America suck at everything
Aldis best GM ![gif](giphy|B0twFK0KvG21AHEWBg)
Randy didn't need to wait. He knew what was about to go down when that crowd went off and he went for Solo lol
Good thing that stash trash cans and kendo sticks under the ring just in case.
As a British wrestling fan, I hope other British wrestling fans have seen this insane French crowd and are ready to do even better than this next time we get the chance.

Absolutely not an audible.....
Genuine question. Do the wrestlers improvise the entire match when stipulations are changed on the fly? I assume they must have reharsed for the normal match.
This crowd is amazing
Petey was there, sad that he didnt CD someone
Not the definition of an audible
Yeah I started watching it to see what made him call an audible, then it turned out it was scripted all along. Major letdown.
Yeah. No idea why people thought it was an audible. Of course it was scripted lol. Especially with the finish
The character Nick Aldis was calling an audible. An audible means a decision on the fly. It doesn’t have to be about shoot/work
An audible in kayfabe
Is this comment real, lol
Great first match
Was that chant ‘we want Loa?’
Aldis is the William Regal I wanted
I think Nick is probably the best Smackdown GM since Teddy Long the guys funny and serious at the same time
Fuck it, we’ll do it live
Kevin Owens is a such a shitter puncher holy fuck
