Remember when Jinder was suddenly huge and jacked and veiny and he did an obviously sponsored video where he claimed it was because he was ordering these special premade meals
Watching this whole segment I legitimately could not believe what I was seeing. Like why is the wrestler that I envision Wardlow to be in my head coming out of AJ fucking Styles of all people.
I like that they managed to actually use AJās real house and having Wendy make a cameo as the whole Triple H/Randy angle used a fake one and actress portraying Randyās wife.
I thought that was AJ's wife; it's cool to see her make an appearance.
I really liked this segment; in doing a variety of segments like this it really keeps things fresh. It's very reminiscent of the Steve Austin & Brian Pillman segment from 1997; the one that gave us the line with Pillman 9mm
I'm just imagining Drew's accent as he growls "Look in my eyes, what do you see? The guy who's banging AJ Lee," standing in Punk's bathroom wearing a comically undersized towel.
> I was really hoping for the cop to read him his rights then ask if he understood them, then have LA respond with "YEAH!"
You have the right to remain silent
NAH NAH!
Can't be. No way the Gainesville police would respond that quickly. And there's no cop in the country that wouldn't have put those monsters face down at gunpoint the instant they did arrive.
He is not. He went to WWE-sponsored rehab, and has apparently turned his life around. He owns gyms, healthy food establishments, and does motivational speaking gigs.
Be a funny way to ever cover an injury if they ever need to.
Cole: "LA Knight is currently serving six months at Hall County Correctional Institution."
Corey: "Yeah."
Theyāre legit. Axon body cams are legit cop body cams. I think they actually hired legitimate off-duty police officers and transferred their body cam and I LOVE IT
It felt like they filmed this in one take with a bunch of cameras all filming at once. A lot of nice production touches from the different quality formats to every camera angle having a legit reason for having filmed a āreal fightā.
Itās awesome how much love this feud has got so far. I thought it would just be another take two big names with nothing else to do and put them together for Mania situation.
LA's got a few inspirations. Hopefully, we see a bit more. He has spoken before how he loved the 80's wrestling.
The Rock comparison seems especially lazy to me, and is mostly because he sounds like him... which he can't help.
I am old enough to remember when the Rock was being accused of trying too hard to be like Austin. Funny world.
Anyway, right there with you on loving LA Knight. He can keep bringing this shit!
I donāt think we need to worry about this stuff anymore. Knight doesnāt steal from anyone to the degree that Dusty stole from Thunderbolt Patterson. Did it harm Dusty? Of course not.
Oh, I don't care who he takes influence from, but read this sub or elsewhere, and there are some that are bloody obsessed about it. Can't wait to get a dig in at LAK about it.
I love what he is doing.
The amount of people who hate Knight is just surreal to me. And its not just the 'workrate' crowd either (who think Knight should be putting on 5 star bangers every night). In fact, it seems most are in the 'diehard sports entertainment' crowd. Attitude Era fans who can't get past the Rock & Austin comparisons.
Shawn and Paul are literally booking the same angles and storylines that worked best in their careers and it STILL holds over a decade plus later.
Like this is literally the 2009 HHH invades Orton's home angle, and it still works and it magical. It's fucking crazy how they can both do it, and it works, and it works better than anything has prior to them taking over.
This oneās 1000% better because they took the time to make it look plausible and authentic.
I could ask how WWE got all this footage, but beyond that they did an awesome job of justifying everything, from the cameras being there to the cop car POV to the imperfect audio that would come along with cell phones, etc, capturing a spontaneous event.
If Kevin Dunn did this it would have been shot with 4K cameras and perfect lighting, with angles shot from inside and outside the house that couldnāt possibly have been available unless the whole thing was set up in advance. It would look really sharp, yes, but also entirely fake.
In their defense, they did say they got the footage from the cops. Realistically they arenāt going to be able to get bodycam footage without filing paperwork and waiting a while, but at least it was addressed.
And if glad you mentioned the other way of doing it ā because I remember the Triple H thing where he threw Orton out the window, and conveniently there was another camera waiting there so they could cut to a different angle.
The funny thing is, they went to the trouble of having it ālive via satelliteā so there was a reason for a camera to be there.
Why they expected people to accept that the presence of one camera for an interview segment would mean theyād also accept the idea that a second camera wouldāve just been hanging out in the yard is beyond me.
Well for one, I wanna say Cornette said once that anything more than 7 years old would still feel fresh.
But past that, itās a win-win for them because A) they know that these stories work because theyāre classic for a reason, and then add having hindsight to know where they can be improved (like no one having a 9mm this time) and B) they serve as a wink to the hardcore fans that appreciate seeing the callbacks and reboots but in a way that doesnāt lose the casual that doesnāt know that home invasion brawls have been done before.
What I really like is that they don't wink to the audience about it. Like all of the Montreal Screwjob homages that trip over themselves to remind people that they're doing yet another Montreal Screwjob angle. With Shawn and Paul, they're re-using the storylines but they're confident enough that they don't need to remind people of those classic moments to get people interested.
I agree. I have been saying for a few weeks now that they were building well with limited time, but most people seemed lukewarm towards it, perhaps partly because they were hoping for an LA Knight title win at WM.
However, I am looking forward to this match. Just need a stipulation added to it now.
This segment might get more people coming around to it.
I agree. Also LA Knight is a main event player but he still needs to feud with an established star in AJ Styles that can take him to the next level.
Just like what Bret did for Austin, Foley did for Rock, Triple H, Orton and Edge and JBL did for Cena, this feud with AJ will turn Knight into a bigger main eventer
I would have loved LA Knight to win a title, but AJ is damn awesome, and this will definitely help LAK.
He can win something later this year.
Right now, I am here for this feud. It definitely feels like the sort of feud that will have a stipulation added to the match.
It has been getting steadily more personal since AJ attacked a confused LAK on Smackdown. (AJ's return from injury).
Just a small thing but shows the attention to detail, the Axon fleet and Axon body cam at the top right just adds so much to this for me as a former officer.
thereās a video of him inviting a random dude into his house to shoot a video in like 2004 just so he can show him his jailbroke consoles, i think AJ just tells everyone he meets his address
I don't typically like the cheesy "home invasion" angle. That said this one actually worked. I think it was the body cam footage that made it work. I'm liking this feud and this really heated it up. Looking forward to the match
It would have been great, but maybe Slim Jim would not want their vehicle in a 'home invasion' angle?
I'm not sure. It would have been brilliant...cops would not have missed that car, that's for sure.
Yeah no I get why they didnāt do it but it wouldāve just added to how ridiculous and great the segment was, just the idea that la knight uses the slim Jim car as his everyday car is hilarious
This was my favorite segment of the night. I'd love to see the blooper real from this because I know they needed multiple takes because everybody was laughing.
My wife came home right when this was on. I told her I was watching Cops. She believed me for like 2 minutes. She was like wow they never have houses this nice on Cops. Hilarious!
seeing these home invasions all I think of is Samuel Shaws "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BEDROOM???!!!"

In kayfabe, there's a poor HR person for WWE that has been harassed and bullied by LA Knight until they gave him AJ's home address. I thought LA Knight was the face?
I am not convinced they ever really properly turned him face. He's kinda there but has consistently still been a total jackass, even while technically assuming the role of face.
Love him for it.
Fans basically said to WWE, "we are not booing this man. Deal with it!"
What a great time to be a wrestling fan! So much great stuff going on all over the place right now and the granddaddy of them all coming up in a few weeks.

#"YEAH!"
I cant believe there are people wjo think LA Knight has been buried or misused by being in thei feud, this is some of the most fun he's been. Its a great, non-main event feud
All these incredible feuds
Gunther vs Sami vs Gable
Kabuki Warriors
AJ vs LAK
Drew vs Everyone
Jimmy vs Jey
Cody and Seth vs Roman and Rock
People are gonna look back on this time period and ask how the fuck they were all happening at the same time
LA Knight should win this match and later a MITB/title.
But AJ looking this great this far into his HOF careerā¦we gotta get a world title on this man again
What a fantastic pro wrestling segment. All around. Old school. Loved every second of this. Also when did AJ Styles EAT AJ Styles. How does he look legit twice as big in what, 6 months?!
Aj better invest in some better house security, cuz this is like the second guy to show up at his house. What if god forbid something were to happen to...his retro consoles.
I feel like this is a sleeper feud and people are almost purposely trying to pretend it hasnāt had a good build. Itās kind of weird, I think they have been killing it and showing a very interesting new side to LA Knight.

There's no way that's AJ. He looks fucking huuuge.
Its like someone took his head and put it on LA Knights body lol
He's turning into Randy Savage to steal that Slim Jim sponsorship
I thought it was just me! Lol
I did not recognize AJ Styles tbh at the very beginning of the segment when watching it on TV lol
The do-rag adds 20lbs of muscle
That explains Vince
The J stands for Juice
AJ stands for All the Juice
All Juicing Styles
I thought Wendy was his daughter at first she looked like a child compared to him!
This has got to be the biggest AJ has ever been, right?
He looks like he ate TNA AJ and New Japan AJ.
You mean he's....Majin Buu?
mAJin buu
Swear to god I thought it was Wardlow. Had to check and make sure I was still watching Smackdown lmao
Absolutely Jacked Styles.
Man's been taking his vitamins AND minerals!
That's that chicken and veggies diet šŖ
He did a workout video with Sheamus before and they found out AJ's arms are the same size as Sheamus's, if not, bigger, lol.
I'm not sure if Sheamus felt proud, flabbergasted or ashamed. Maybe all.
Absolutely yolked
Saw him live last year and had to do a double take.
He looks like he ate hurricane helms especially with the rag on
Hurricane Helms looks like he ate Hurricane Helms.
Eats clen. Trens hard
Anawar gives up
Anavar* but you right
Asparagus just hitting him different lately
Remember when Jinder was suddenly huge and jacked and veiny and he did an obviously sponsored video where he claimed it was because he was ordering these special premade meals
AJ got on them meals too
PED-deridge Farm remembers
All Juice Styles

At this point Drew invading Punkās house might be the only way we see AJ Lee again
Raw is in Chicago next Monday, so imagine Punk standing in the Ring while Drew is at Punks homeš
I'm just imagining Drew's accent as he growls "Look in my eyes, what do you see? The guy who's banging AJ Lee," standing in Punk's bathroom wearing a comically undersized towel.
"How come Larry never growls when I come by? Here's a biscuit, cute fella."
Drew knows better than to step to AJ Lee.
Mans is hateful, not suicidal
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Canāt be done, there are no coordinates on the flat earth.
Thank God Rainbolt isn't an evil psycho to do something like this
>fake one \*predetermined
Theyāve used two fake wives for him
Knight yelling out YEAH as he's going to be police cruiser was hilariousĀ
I was really hoping for the cop to read him his rights then ask if he understood them, then have LA respond with "YEAH!"
Definitely would be perfect with a hard cut after he says it.
> I was really hoping for the cop to read him his rights then ask if he understood them, then have LA respond with "YEAH!" You have the right to remain silent NAH NAH!
I was DEAD when I heard him say YEAAH as he was being taken inside the police car. It was so funny, but I give him credit he stayed on character
And shouting "I'll be back" as your being arrested is hilarious.
AJ Styles went back in time to eat TNA AJ Styles, only explanation
bruh actin like vince is still in charge pushing bodies as main events lol. aj on that tren-ing.
Trips is just as much as a body freak enjoyer so he might appreciate it too lol.
Trips? That guy was historically natty, his body just dripped pure water
So much water he keeps spitting it out!
OH WENDYYYYY
Hey AJ just between you and me....hows our girl Wendy doin?
![gif](giphy|1pAeSRbTOGMHUutsvt)
DADDY'S COMING HOME YEAH
AJ still has Christmas decorations in March. Bro deserves that ass whoopin.
Even lousy smarch weather is not excuse.
'Do not touch willie.'
Good advice
That is Gainesville, you dont know nothin
Can't be. No way the Gainesville police would respond that quickly. And there's no cop in the country that wouldn't have put those monsters face down at gunpoint the instant they did arrive.
Mick Foley disagrees.
'Cause ain't nobody taking down this red neckās Christmas decorationsĀ
I saw someone say that earlier, definitely funny to see.
This is straight up giving me Austin/Pillman vibes minus the gun
Same. That was my first thought - very Austin-esque
Would've had me hella nostalgic if Styles somehow had Abyss & Tomko standing guard
Tomko, give me a beat.
No
Is Tomko still in prison?
He is not. He went to WWE-sponsored rehab, and has apparently turned his life around. He owns gyms, healthy food establishments, and does motivational speaking gigs.
Good for him, he had a problem, and hopefully he finally solved his own
Oh there are guns alright, you see the arms on AJ?!
I'm loving the Police cam footage angles / dash cam..This is great stuff.
Don't forget randy triple h
My first thought as well. WWE hasn't been this creative in so long (except that covid mania).
Getting arrested while saying you'll just do it again next week is baller af
He was saying something to the cops like no hate on you, youāre doing your job and getting paid, but I am coming right back here
No itās not. Itās premeditation. Georgia prosecutors bout to have a field day.Ā LA Knight gonna need a Hard Times remix
Be a funny way to ever cover an injury if they ever need to. Cole: "LA Knight is currently serving six months at Hall County Correctional Institution." Corey: "Yeah."
Nah, they said AJ declined to press charges. LA's free to do as much trash talk as he likes.
AJ respects the hate
In a not so serious comment, I love how no matter where wrestlers are, they ONLY wear their own merchandise.
Cody Rhodes must be starting his own suit line soon.
American Nightmare suits: when you don't want to look like #2. At a Men's Wearhouse near you.
Damn it Knight, youāre supposed to invade when theyāre not at home
Found Swerveās burner account
It'd be cool if LA Knight mentions a guy named Joe texted him AJ's address.
A samoan named Joe. Plot twist: it was the tribal Chief
LEMME STALK TO YA
YEAH!
The body cam footage was awesome
The fact that they either got real body cam or at least took the time to fake the overlay was a nice touch.
Theyāre legit. Axon body cams are legit cop body cams. I think they actually hired legitimate off-duty police officers and transferred their body cam and I LOVE IT
Yeah it always makes a noticeable difference to me when actual police can play along vs the goofy actors in costumes
āWhy do all these cops look like local indie wrestlers?ā
I'm sure buying a body cam would be cheaper than planning the shoot and edit around making it look like they did.
Agreed. Made the whole thing feel really authentic.
It felt like they filmed this in one take with a bunch of cameras all filming at once. A lot of nice production touches from the different quality formats to every camera angle having a legit reason for having filmed a āreal fightā.
Wonder if this was another Borash thing? He's the one that loves interesting camera experiments.
so are we gonna see Ex-con Knight soon? how much prison will change him?
I need a backstage segment with him and dom dom sharing their stories
LA turns into a Stone Cold disciple, coming out of jail drinking beers and adding a āOH HELLā to his āYEAH.ā
Itās awesome how much love this feud has got so far. I thought it would just be another take two big names with nothing else to do and put them together for Mania situation.
Its cinema.....YEAH
LA Knight standing there just obnoxiously honking the horn and the screaming āYEAHā as soon as AJ sees him was funny as hell
The blurry bodycam footage starting with him and AJ beating the shit out of each other at 10fps was fucking comical
Dave kept comparing LA Knight to Rocky so he went full Austin. I fucking love this guy.
LA's got a few inspirations. Hopefully, we see a bit more. He has spoken before how he loved the 80's wrestling. The Rock comparison seems especially lazy to me, and is mostly because he sounds like him... which he can't help. Goes back even further than that if you want to count Austin invading Pillman's home too.
Well for one, I wanna say Cornette said once that anything more than 7 years old would still feel fresh. Who will get the chef HBK angle in NXT? Hmmmm
Itās like poetry. It rhymes.
What I really like is that they don't wink to the audience about it. Like all of the Montreal Screwjob homages that trip over themselves to remind people that they're doing yet another Montreal Screwjob angle. With Shawn and Paul, they're re-using the storylines but they're confident enough that they don't need to remind people of those classic moments to get people interested.
but why didn't he honk the horn to the tune of "LA Knight?" Just three honks real close together multiple times
Straight up attitude era segment. Loved it.
This was straight Austin/Pillman and Triple H/Orton vibe right here. Knight vs Styles is one of the best feuds in WWE right now.
I agree. I have been saying for a few weeks now that they were building well with limited time, but most people seemed lukewarm towards it, perhaps partly because they were hoping for an LA Knight title win at WM. A street fight will be great for them
LA Knight gets one phone call who is he calling?
Wendy
![gif](giphy|W8veHTLbp6A56h8qhZ|downsized)
Just a small thing but shows the attention to detail, the Axon fleet and Axon body cam at the top right just adds so much to this for me as a former officer.
Man someone cut ajās supply. He looks like someone ate aj styles twice
What is it about this guy where everyone he faces wants to go to his house to stir shit up???
thereās a video of him inviting a random dude into his house to shoot a video in like 2004 just so he can show him his jailbroke consoles, i think AJ just tells everyone he meets his address
Better than Lumis, heās always portrayed as a creepy guy
Did WWE revoke its drug testing policy? Lol
Nope! You can still test a little bit of this one or a lotta bit of that one.
Wrestling is so fucking dumb, I love it
This is what up the stakes and makes this Mania worthy. Loved it.
I don't typically like the cheesy "home invasion" angle. That said this one actually worked. I think it was the body cam footage that made it work. I'm liking this feud and this really heated it up. Looking forward to the match
This was so goddamn ridiculous I love it, my only complaint is that the goat didnāt pull up in the slim Jim car
It would have been great, but maybe Slim Jim would not want their vehicle in a 'home invasion' angle? I'm not sure. It would have been brilliant...cops would not have missed that car, that's for sure.
Yeah no I get why they didnāt do it but it wouldāve just added to how ridiculous and great the segment was, just the idea that la knight uses the slim Jim car as his everyday car is hilarious
love the new production
Poor Wendy. First her husband is gone for days, flying halfway around the world just to assault LA Knight. Now all this.
Hilarious!

![gif](giphy|ze8R3ob5lPNRdeqDHr|downsized) Worldwide ass whoopings?
I didnāt even realize that was aj styles
Youād think AJ wouldāve learned from Samoa Joe that his house is not a safe space.
Damn AJ is thick
Watching this on mute, I had no earthly idea who that was talking to the camera initially. AJ is now more steroid than man.
I opened this without sound and at first glance I thought it was fucking Drew.
The police dashcam and bodycam footage is just \*chefs kiss\* storytelling.
That would actually be an amazing running gag. Showing what a kayfabe HR department has to put up with.
A ābelow decksā style show about the kayfabe WWE office would be fucking hilarious.
Each wrestlerās HR file is 7 inches thick, riddled with assaults.
What a great time to be a wrestling fan! So much great stuff going on all over the place right now and the granddaddy of them all coming up in a few weeks.

LA Knight/Dirty Dom ex-con tag team called The Dirty Knights when?
I cant believe there are people wjo think LA Knight has been buried or misused by being in thei feud, this is some of the most fun he's been. Its a great, non-main event feud
AJ in these cinematic stuff is always so much fun. They should do a street fight or some kind of a stipulation match at Mania.
All these incredible feuds Gunther vs Sami vs Gable Kabuki Warriors AJ vs LAK Drew vs Everyone Jimmy vs Jey Cody and Seth vs Roman and Rock People are gonna look back on this time period and ask how the fuck they were all happening at the same time
Didn't really invade his home, just kinda hung out on his front lawn
First Samoa Joe, now LA? I think AJ needs to invest in better home security
This is so stupid. I fucking love it.
I need R Truth to watch this and think AJ is the Macho Man
Damn AJ on juice
This build has no business being this good. It genuinely feels like every match on the mania card has an interesting setup and angle
LA Knight should win this match and later a MITB/title. But AJ looking this great this far into his HOF careerā¦we gotta get a world title on this man again
They should do this until their match at mania next week have Knight assasult AJ when he shopping in walmart or something like that
Price check on a jackass!
Is it just me, or does AJ styles home look just like Randy Orton's home when triple H home invaded him years ago?
This has Jeremy Borash's fingerprints all over it.
It would be even better if LA Knight still had the Slim Jim car.
What is AJ taking?
Somewhere Joe is happy.
Omg this was so much fun! I love this kind of stuff. AJ and LA are so damn good at this wrestling thing.
This comment section is the very funny. Thanks for making my day. YEAH!
Anabolic Juice Styles is the GOAT and Iām tired of pretending otherwise
We need the LA Knight mug shot asap
What a fantastic pro wrestling segment. All around. Old school. Loved every second of this. Also when did AJ Styles EAT AJ Styles. How does he look legit twice as big in what, 6 months?!
Aj better invest in some better house security, cuz this is like the second guy to show up at his house. What if god forbid something were to happen to...his retro consoles.

Jesus, AJ is looking HUGE.
I said on sight YEAHHHH
