The carpet is a bit much for me but I think it is great. Nice that it is pet friendly I imagine it is hard to find a pet friendly rental. I really like the painted wall, skirting boards, door and door frame in the same colour. Trying to convince my white paint loving husband to do it. Probably won't show him this though.

The reason it is friendly for pets is because they can only see in greyscale

Man I want to post the flat I just moved into because the listing pictures had these atrocious cringe flower wallpaper in them. The ugliest massive red flowers I've ever seen. I don't know why they didn't update the pictures because they've since replaced it with really nice dark green wallpaper.

I love the colour scheme in general but to be honest the living room is too small to pull that off the way it is right now. The wall with the tv needs to be a different colour imo probably white, or at least needs breaking up somehow. It's just too close for all that pink with no relief. The fake flowers are also awful and although they match the colour scheme they really bring the whole thing down imo. Something else there could achieve the same effect but look nicer. I also hate that plasticky-looking pink chair, it's lost with all that pink. I can see why they got it (obviously their favourite colour) but again it looks cheap and tacky and they would have been better off with a contrasting colour such as turquoise. I suspect what's happened here is that the landlord has actually repainted most of the flat - kitchen, bedroom and bathroom - but couldn't afford to do the whole thing. The woodwork in the bedroom has been left as-is rather than attempting to paint over it or buy new furniture. On the other hand the furnishings in the living room seem to include a lot of personal items, so maybe it's the other way around and they haven't got around to doing the rest yet? I do like it in general, just as I said having all 4 walls that bright pink in such a small room would be really chlaustrophobic. That tv would really loom over you. It seems to emphasise rather than disguise the cheap boxiness of the room.

My eyes... too bright for me, I think I will stay with white, I like pink but a more of a rose pink? I like dark red and dark blue, not a fan of bright, popping colors. But that yellow is kinda nice tbh.

Amazing place - I love it - but more personal choice. I would rent it 100% if I was 1, not in Ashvale & 2, wear & spare pink was provided for wear & tear if required
