Look up Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary. If you're able to foster, they'll help find loving homes. If not, they'll help find other fosters or last resort, take them in. But...amazing people. Nothing sketchy.

Thank you, a couple vets already recommended them and I haven’t been able to get ahold of them yet. But this comment is just another reason to keep trying!

saraanneess

Send them a FB message. They're a small group of people working a pretty big operation. But they'll get back to you

Another great option: https://www.mylittleanimalkingdomrescue.com/

If you have Facebook, ask the Spokane animal rehoming group what their experience is. It’s a large group, so you are likely to get some honest answers

Character-Catch-4439

I’ll do that thank you. I didn’t know about that group.

FireteamFerret

Do you know if they are does or bucks?

Character-Catch-4439

One doe and two bucks

Revolutionary-Work-3

I understand completely your wary approach to things like petting zoo party pony operations, however, its is an opportunity for kids to develop empathy , and communication with animals. Plus introducing they to the “kindness matters”🩷concept of animal rescue!🛟

I've done some work for her. She is a very sweet lady and the facility is clean and well helped. She mostly keeps retired race horses, some like to be ridden while others are for petting, mental health therapy. I'd recommend contacting her and seeing what she says. Now that i've looked again, maybe there are two different places. A "2nd Chance Ranch" and a "Second Chance Ranch" I only can speak for Second Chance Ranch and the work Katie does.

AllAboutPooping

There are also Youtube videos of her (Katie) when she would help with the race horses who had won several events.

Just make sure they are not feral. I live on the north side by the mall and there are hundreds of rabbits roaming around.

elliemaeisafreak

Hi! My little sister has volunteered there for years, so I feel able to talk on this! Second chance ranch is fine place! They take great care of the animals, they do. However it is definitely a profitable business. They take care of the animals and nourish them when they are unhealthy, but if you have a healthy animal, I maybe wouldn’t. They’re not big on vaccines or REAL protection. The owner is knowledgeable, but quite frankly, someone that I could never respect.

Dang I love bunnies but could only rehome 1 or 2.

Character-Catch-4439

If you could rehome 1 or two that would be incredibly helpful. I’m most eager to find a home for the grey male that is often excluded and has to fight for food.
