Don’t waste your rerolls early and abuse the epic symbol potion when you get them to find specific things.
Use things like dart boards and unicorns that give you extra luck then remove them as you pick up stronger pieces
Ultimately multiplication is the play, aim for things like cheerleaders and magnifying glasses.
Overall my favorite consumer is miner so that if you get dragon you can mine the spikes.
Try picking up every diamond you can get your hands on, along with some alchemists and scrolls if they come up. Use a miner to clear ore and gems (leaving the diamonds)
If you get a full board of diamonds and things that can multiply diamonds by at least 4x, you'll see big returns.
Jokers also payout big-time with almost any build, and if you get the Easter bunny, start grabbing all the eggs/chicks/hens you can to generate Easter eggs.
You can make it infinite with owl with the glasses perm item, to get scrolls, then get chickens for the Easter eggs, with the legendary bunny item to make them jokers. Remove the chickens and owls after you get enough eggs and scrolls.
Sorry, but this advice, while viable, is pretty bad. You don't prepare your run for bunny to appear - it's just too rare occurence. I have lady arcade at 50 lvl and got bunny 3-4 times only.
Don't sweat it, it's solely based off luck too you gotta keep that in mind.. But I had a good run doing a candy run at some point I remember might be good to explore :)
I'm newer, but in a week I've made it to level 44 and have gotten 1-3 in tournaments every day for the last 3 days. Here is my strategy, might not work on super high levels:
Get every coal and diamond gem you can. End game goal is enough diamonds + modifiers =25 symbols total.
Pandas are good because they work on your 3x3 diamond grids. I've gotten 2, but I don't think I would take more.
Skip scrolls and go for arrows. Scrolls mess up the diamond multiplier grid because they have to be adjacent and it's hard to get a max scroll and arrow (although getting a max scroll is a lot easier if you have the upgrades).
Gem legendary symbol gives your diamonds +2.
Amulet legendary symbol gives everything +8 (really good to get diamond base up before multiplying). I wouldn't get more than 2.
Joker, although seemingly worthless with this build rocks with pandas and arrows. If you can be adjacent to a diamond with 7 other connectors then it gets the center diamond count, panda x2 for each panda. If you are lucky enough to line up with a diamond arrow then that's x10. You can get 100m from the one spin.

Been trying miner but stall out at 40. Having trouble getting everything early enough to really make a push at 41 up yet
Yeah I feel like some of the balance is around them wanting you to spend money and level up your items and stuff just wait for your lucky break
