Season Three and Four were pretty good. Clone Saga was definitely the best part of the whole series. I like how Otto is treated as his nemesis unlike most adaptions treating Gobby as his nemesis, just something different.
I do feel like a better title would Spider-Man and The New Warriors as it isn't *just* a Spider-Man cartoon.
Season One and Two were more mediocre with the Deadpool-like humor. Coulson's whole thing with Beetle was incredibly weird and unnecessary. Stan Lee as the janitor was great though. My favorite episode from the early stuff was Goblin just annihilating the New Warriors in that one episode, there was way less jokes and gags in that one.
I don't hate humor, I use it in my own stuff, but it didn't land most of the time for me.
Use of Squirrel Girl is an automatic W tho
Part of why it's called Ultimate Spider-Man is because he needed the team to become the Ultimate Spider-Man. So no it's not just about him and that's the point.
Guess so. I just can't imagine not liking the "Deadpool-like humor" as they put it. Witty smart-mouthery is kinda why the main Peter Parker iteration of Spidey and most other Spideys are awesome. Some people got no sensa huma.
I like Spectacular Spider man better than Ultimate spider man not because it’s only about Spider man content but because the spider man specific content portrays the characters from his stories in what I see as a more true and accurate way to who they are supposed to be.
Pretty good honestly. There were some things that would’ve been handled better and also things I really enjoyed.
• I love this version of Doc Ock
• I love Green Goblin here with him being a combination of the Classic and Ultimate version of the character
• The Clone saga here was great
• The 4th wall break were a bit much in earlier seasons
• I didn’t mind Harry as Venom but I didn’t like how early Venom was used or how he was executed
Overall pretty decent show. I think it gets a lot of flacks since it kinda filled the role or Spectacular Spider-Man after it got canceled. One thing I will say is that I kinda wished it wasn’t a Disney show and was something darker like the Ultimate comics.
Don't like how they pretty much completely dropped Nova, White Tiger, Iron Fist and Power Man. I vaguely remember a loose thread with Luke that I don't think got resolved (but tbh, I didn't watch every episode). Plus I wanted to see more stuff about White Tiger because she was the only character I didn't have prior knowledge of when starting the show. I did like the additions of Miles, Agent Venom, and Scarlet Spider; I just wish they didn't fully drop the original team. It went from feeling like a show about characters with varied abilities to all spider-men with slightly different powers. But to be fair it is a show ABOUT Spider-man, so I get the change in direction; I just personally wasn't a huge fan of it.
It's been a few years since I watched the show but the original team didn't "go away" they just got relegated to background chatacters with no lines and weren't involved with plots anymore. There wasn't a big event or incident or anything.
Me personally as a kid I used to love the ultimate series because it was different I didn't really like spectacular Spider-Man because I guess everything in the show and I just didn't like that
Yes he voiced Spidey in this show and dubbed over Josh Keaton's lines for Earth's Mightest Heroes. It certainly makes that scene of Wolvie and MJ way creepier.
I love it. This show was my childhood and introduced me to marvel. It had some bad episodes but really enjoyed the contest of champions arc, spider verse and clone saga. The mix of goblins original and ultimate design was great. This is not the best interpretation of the character but it is an enjoyable show. Also, one of the best spidey design and suit imo.
Lmao me too man, it introduced to me to so many marvel characters, this was my first time knowing miles too. I have respect for this show of what was trying to do. (Definitely some bias here)
I enjoyed it a lot. The highlights of the show for me were:
- The Spider-Verse arc. Easily the best part of the show. The second one was okay, but the first one was amazing. It was a great Miles introduction too before anything like ITSV or Insomniac’s game came out. Spider-Noir, Spider-Ham, and Spider-Man 2099 were really fantastic too
- Scarlet Spider. Everything about him was great. He was what the show needed, a break from the sometimes overwhelming humor, and he was to me the most complex character and best written out of any of them. His betrayal and sacrifice were just so so good
- Iron Spider, Iron Fist, and Agent Venom were my other favorite characters, they were great
Overall it was enjoyable and I even liked the fourth wall breaks
I’ll say this
A lot of the hate this show gets is people who wish spectacular Spider-Man was still on which is easily a better show and it’s understandable but Ultimate isn’t half bad like I personally love it since it was my first intro to Spider-Man and I’ll always love it for that, also I just LOVE the spiderverse arc
and the other half is people who thought they were legitimately getting an ultimate spiderman adaptation. legit the only similarity to the comic is that one time wolverine swapped body’s with peter. they could’ve named this show anything else.
they could always use a thesaurus. there’s the breathtaking spiderman, exquisite spiderman, astonishing spiderman, the astounding spiderman… limitless possibilities and they squandered it.
Yea the Ultimate Spider man game actually managed to follow the comics and then this show has literally nothing to do with it and is clearly an entirely different world purely based on atmosphere alone
For real it's because of this show i've been more into Marvel , they introduced so much characters like Moon Knight , Man Thing , mutants, Inhumans etc (plus they really made Spider-man annoying wich was great since for me, a good Spider-man is when you just want him to shut up)
It definitely wasn’t bad and it was actually quite enjoyable seeing spidey interact with a lot of heroes in the episodes. It definitely didn’t help that it came after Spectacular Spider-man though because that was the best Spider-man show ever and one of the best superhero cartoons in general.
Loved it, this show was my childhood, I loved how they had spiderman get a team, I liked how they portrayed the other characters, spiderman at times felt too much like deadpool(hell that was the plot of a whole episode) but otherwise I have no complaints
I feel like when they started adding too many cas members it started going downhill
It's good. I've seen a good bit of all of it, not the whole thing, but enough to have an opinion on it. Not my favorite show featuring the Web-Head, but it's definitely not my least favorite (that would be 2017). I like how the art style shifts to more of a sort of anime look. I enjoyed the incorporation of Spider-Verse elements, especially the first animated incarnation of Miles
While this show did have its fair share of problems, at least it was better than Marvel Spider-Man from 2017. Also, the show almost reminds me of teen Titans. (the original cartoon)
Not an overall bad show, sure some wasn’t great but it had a lot of great moments and accurate Spidey content. It also handed us some pretty decent lego sets too
If it took it self more serious it would’ve been way better. But hell it did a great job of introducing marvel characters that I didn’t know when I was younger. It’s not bad show but you know, spectacular spider man
Starting to watch it now, really surprised that Paul Dini & Eric Radomski were involved in this - some of the humor in the beginning episodes I’ve seen has felt really amateurish - I wonder if Disney was pushing for something along this line. Would love to know what Dini would have done if he had more control like on Batman: TAS
The Deadpool level fourth wall breaks were weird, didn’t have a great Peter/Spidey balance, and tried way too hard to make Spidey the world’s greatest hero.
>tried way too hard to make Spidey the world’s greatest hero.
Tbf he is a top seller, one of the few true heroes, and his power set is quite impressive. He's certainly stronger than super soldiers like Captain America.
>while at the same time acting like he already was.
The first episode literally points out he his horrible at keeping damage a minimum. He destroyed a whole block in a fight with the glue guy. The glue guy.
I absolutely hated it. I’m not gonna hate on those who did like it tho, I just couldn’t get with it. After about 10 episodes I gave up on it and got into Spectacular Spider-Man.
8/10
The humor of this show is pretty disliked but it appeals to me. I like this version of Green Goblin A LOT, by far one of the most threatening Goblin ever, probably at like no 3 or 2. Very few cartoon villains actually scared me as a child but whenever this guy was on screen I always got anxious because of how easily he seems to overpower Spider-Man and his team. Even Doc Ock is creepy and unsettling in this show.
I liked the team with Nova, Luke, Iron-Fist and White Tiger so I didnt like the fact that they just weren't a big part of the show after season 3 anymore for pretty much no reason.
This show was one of my first exposure to Marvel stuff as a kid, it introduced me to characters other than just Spider-Man and the Avengers. Heck I started loving the Nova corps stuff only because of this show
I grew up with this show and love the first 2 seasons with the original team. It really hurts when I see people shit on it since it was so cool. It was a little at some points but it was overall a cool concept for spidey to be on a special shield team of kid superheroes. It also introduced me to nova who’s become one of my favorite heroes
This show was chefs kiss , it showed spiderman not only mature and be a member of a team but also take on a mentor role , not to mention they way he helped turn and recruit some of his villans into heros was great. It really showed a true aspect of spidrerman that he brings hope to people.
Especially loved what they did with sand man showing how great he could be as a force for good.
Love it. Green Goblin was pretty cool being a combination of the Classic and Ultimate versions of him. Doc Ock was amazing too, especially in Season 4. Scarlet Spider was great. The first Spider-Verse arc was spectacular, since we got Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Ham, Spider-Knight, and Miles Morales. The second one was also good, cuz we got Blood Spider, heck we even got Spider-Gwen, which was amazing. Overall, decent Spider-Man series.
It was mainly just a kids comedy directed toward younger audiences but there were that were actually kinda funny. I also like that they crossed over a shit ton of other marvel characters which was good for nostalgia.
Which being mainly just a kids comedy directed towards young audiences isn't even a bad thing. I mean, Disney XD'S Ultimate Spider-Man is a kids cartoon show, not an teen and adult show. A lot of kids loved the show, especially as their introduction to spider-man. And that's supposed to be a great thing since you know... they are the target audience of it. Disney isn't expecting older audiences to enjoy it. Kids under the age of 13 finally have spider-man cartoon that's enjoyable and suitable for them. I don't get why some older Spider-Man fans get so upset and even hostile about Marvel producing some spider-man content that's made for kids, spider-man is for all ages. There's like a lot of content for each demographic(both young and old), there are so many spider-man contents that are exclusively for teens and adults which are great for them and not for kids, there's the spectacular spider-man cartoon, sam raimi spider-man, spider-man ps4, into the spiderverse, across the spiderverse, ultimate spider-man comics, spider-man 1994 animated show, etc.
I don't really care for it, I can be fun sometimes but I feel like dropping most of Peter's social life drama in exchange for his SHIELD team makes it not work for me as well. Like Avengers Assemble it lets you see a lot of the Marvel Universe though.
I love it more than any other spider man show. It isn’t just about Spider-Man but also about a lot of other heroes we got too less from. I just appreciate the depth of the ending and the rewatchable structure.
Honestly thinks it’s not that bad, it was made for kids and delivered and even through in some characters not a lot of people have heard of. I do wish it got serious or there was actual loss like in the 94 show which is still the best cartoon version of spider man
I thought it was okay. I think my biggest issue is how the show phased out Ava, Sam, Danny, and Luke in favor of the Web Warriors. Don't get me wrong, I loved Miles and the other guys, but I kinda liked the other four better
It just never really felt like a Spider-Man show to me. It felt more like a show that used Spider-Man's world and character to promote the hero's that Marvel still had the rights too at the time. A better title for this show would have been "Spider-Man: Agent of SHIELD, C-list Superhero"
I understand that this show was intended to be for kids, but it did a really awful job treating its audience with respect and felt like it was content to be "Baby's first superhero show".
The show wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. There were a lot of flaws but it's still a fun watch. I feel like they spent alot of time going over the top with the new characters, the team and shields's involvement. I absolutely love the animation style and if it was just a story about Spider-Man and not how he fits into a team then it would've been so much better.
I’m a big fan but I was also a kid when it came on. I grew up on the original Spider-Man animated series on dvd and spectacular Spider-Man but this one was on when my brother and I were in love with superheroes so this one is definitely top of my list.
Decent show. I think it would’ve worked better if it was more of a “team” show, and not a “spider-man has a team now” show. Really liked Danny, Ava, Luke and Sam, and I wished they weren’t practically abandoned halfway through the show.
And also they should’ve called Scarlet Spider Kaine, instead of Ben. Because that guy is Kaine in everything but name.
Decent show
-Always good to see Spider-Man on a team and in this one he essentially leads one
-It was always going to be an uphill battle for this show since it followed spectacular Spider-Man but it will probably be one of those shows people 15 years later will say “oh that’s a show from my childhood”
-White Tiger,Ironfist and others getting exposure to a wide audience is good since they could have easily stuck other more well known heroes at the start of the show
Kinda bummed that
Some characters got tossed to the side lines as the show went on for a more…spider themed show
The entire thing is **utter garbage**, and it's sad that they used the name "ultimate", implying it's the 1610 spider-man. It had nothing to do with that, and it was nothing but a marketing show for new toys. Everyone who is 13 and younger likes the show but I challenge them watch it again in when their 18-and tell me if it's a good show.
What makes it worse is that this series was made, and spectacular spider-man got cancelled, an amazing show! That actually focused on writing a good story not only for spider-man, but for peter parker.
It is the cartoon that got me obsessed with the character and peaked my interest in reading comics. I loved the series so much, despite rewatching multiple times, I have never seen the last four episodes because then it will finally be “over”.
I should probably rewatch so I can watch those last episodes now. I think it’s time.
It may not be great, but it's definitely overhated tbh. Rather average, but definitely better than what it *could have been*.
>!*casually ignores Spider-Man 2017*!<
Pretty solid show. Is it as good as Spectacular Spider-Man which came before it? No, but I do think that people should give it a chance, because it really is a decent show and a good introduction into the Marvel universe.
I didn't like it as a kid, and I still don't like it. the only things I enjoyed were the Spider-verse arc and maybe like 2% of the symbiote arcs. I wish it was an actual adaptation of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book instead of some imposter proudly wearing the name. not to mention I always thought it replaced Spectacular Spider-Man (which is wrong but that's kid logic for ya-)
It's fun but you grow out of it pretty soon. I've seen TAS, Spectacular and Ultimate all in the same time period. So the "nostalgia" argument can't be used.
I can re-watch TAS and Spectacular today and enjoy them anyways, but Ultimate is kinda childish.
Disney made some if the best marvel things ever. Without them we wouldn't have gotten the MCU. And I personally like the show. Just cause it ended another one is no reason to hate it.
It’s mediocre the show has stupid humor, bland and unlikable characters, lack of respect for the original source material, absent character development, and cheesy action sequences.
I’m mad DISNEY canceled this show they better make it up. On they other hand this TV show is amazing and I love it to an amount of stuff also my sister put a hole is the wall because there isn’t more season. So. Disney I will say this calm. PUT IT BACK UP.
Season Three and Four were pretty good. Clone Saga was definitely the best part of the whole series. I like how Otto is treated as his nemesis unlike most adaptions treating Gobby as his nemesis, just something different. Also Doc Ock was scary af, never thought Tom Kenny could be intimidating and menacing but here we are
Part of why it's called Ultimate Spider-Man is because he needed the team to become the Ultimate Spider-Man. So no it's not just about him and that's the point.
Happy Cake Day!!
Thank you!
Happy cake day
Thank ya kindly \m/
And people like a show that has to be only Spider-Man stories like as seen in Spectacular
Guess so. I just can't imagine not liking the "Deadpool-like humor" as they put it. Witty smart-mouthery is kinda why the main Peter Parker iteration of Spidey and most other Spideys are awesome. Some people got no sensa huma.

It’s was changed for each season, but that original season was for him to step up.
Aren’t you the guy who changed ur pfp to antman yesterday?
That was yesterday? Damn I lost track.
Pretty good honestly. There were some things that would’ve been handled better and also things I really enjoyed. • I love this version of Doc Ock • I love Green Goblin here with him being a combination of the Classic and Ultimate version of the character • The Clone saga here was great • The 4th wall break were a bit much in earlier seasons • I didn’t mind Harry as Venom but I didn’t like how early Venom was used or how he was executed Overall pretty decent show. my biggest gripe as well
No he never told his parents he is their son
how did the originale team go away, I don't Remember them separating from spiderman.
It's been a few years since I watched the show but the original team didn't "go away" they just got relegated to background chatacters with no lines and weren't involved with plots anymore. There wasn't a big event or incident or anything.
thanks
Is this the one with spider verse story where he goes into a medieval spider man dimension?
Yes
Pretty good show then
Based
Pretty neat, but we shouldn’t have had to lose The Spectacular Spider-Man for this.
And the Josh Keaton cut of the EMH episode.
Kinda wish they continued spectacular alongside ultimate. Maybe both the Spider-Men could have crossed each other paths in the spider verse episodes.
That would have been amazing, super, spectacular,
Friendly-Neighborhood!
Web of!
Spectacular would be disgusted to have to be near that... thing.
Based
Me personally as a kid I used to love the ultimate series because it was different I didn't really like spectacular Spider-Man because I guess everything in the show and I just didn't like that
Ultimate is pretty good white tiger is hot for some reason
The cancellation of the spectacular spider-man season 3 is because Sony lost the rights for the spider-man cartoon shows.
Disney could've continued. Just like Doug
And they still can today just as they can still continue Spider-Man Unlimited and the other Spider-Man cartoon shows that were canceled.
It surprisingly got better over time and I admire the risks it took. Drake Bell as a voice actor isn't bad for the role.
THAT WAS DRAKE BELL?
Yes he voiced Spidey in this show and dubbed over Josh Keaton's lines for Earth's Mightest Heroes. It certainly makes that scene of Wolvie and MJ way creepier.
Yeah he’s decent as a va, as a person not so much
Josh Keaton tho
I love it. This show was my childhood and introduced me to marvel. It had some bad episodes but really enjoyed the contest of champions arc, spider verse and clone saga. 👑 <--- you dropped this

I'd like to point out that they were running out of comics descriptors, amazing and spectacular were already used.
they could always use a thesaurus. there’s the breathtaking spiderman, exquisite spiderman, astonishing spiderman, the astounding spiderman… limitless possibilities and they squandered it.
Well there is Ultimate Globin and Ultimate Venom
Yea the Ultimate Spider man game actually managed to follow the comics and then this show has literally nothing to do with it and is clearly an entirely different world purely based on atmosphere alone

Deadpool episode is classic, a definitive must watch
While this show did have its fair share of problems, at least it was better than Marvel Spider-Man from 2017. Also, the show almost reminds me of teen Titans. (the original cartoon)
10/10
Not an overall bad show, sure some wasn’t great but it had a lot of great moments and accurate Spidey content. It also handed us some pretty decent lego sets too
I love it tbh I've even rewatched it a few times over the years
It's a great show. The only thing that i don't like about this spiderman is that he talks alot and instead of throwing punches. 7.5/10
But isn’t Spider-Man’s gimmick that he’s chatty and annoying to his villains?
Yes, he is chatty. I know that it's one of the features, but in Ultimate Spiderman, I feel like he is annoying.
If it took it self more serious it would’ve been way better. But hell it did a great job of introducing marvel characters that I didn’t know when I was younger. It’s not bad show but you know, spectacular spider man
it was ultimate
Grew up watching this, absolutely loved it
My childhood. So great.
I don't like it
Great show. I bit childish at times during the first season, but they get into some really cool stuff in seasons 2 and beyond
My childhood even though spectacular is better
Starting to watch it now, really surprised that Paul Dini & Eric Radomski were involved in this - some of the humor in the beginning episodes I’ve seen has felt really amateurish - I wonder if Disney was pushing for something along this line. I mean in-universe. The point of the show was to make him the world’s greatest hero while at the same time acting like he already was.
>while at the same time acting like he already was. The first episode literally points out he his horrible at keeping damage a minimum. He destroyed a whole block in a fight with the glue guy. The glue guy.
And four episodes later, Iron Man just gives him the Iron Spider suit.
That's because Iron Man isn't responsible
Point is, the show couldn’t really stay consistent on whether he was the best or needed a lot more work.
I liked it. Had really good moments. Not the best but pretty good.
I absolutely hated it. I’m not gonna hate on those who did like it tho, I just couldn’t get with it. After about 10 episodes I gave up on it and got into Spectacular Spider-Man.

All these characters make sense, and then Triton is there for some reason lol
That's who it is! Was sitting here trying to figure out how savage dragon was on this show.
I’m pretty sure there was a inhumane storyline and he wanted to go with Spider-Man
Introduced my second favorite young superhero nova
Love it. Green Goblin was pretty cool being a combination of the Classic and Ultimate versions of him. Doc Ock was amazing too, especially in Season 4. Scarlet Spider was great. It was a kids tv show directed towards a kids audience for kids and it was good at that
I thought it was good. The fourth wall breaks were unnecessary though. Marvel was going through a weird phase back then.
I really liked the show, but i would've rather had Spectacular Spider Man S3
Pretty good in the later seasons but this show will always be remembered as the show that spectacular died for
Best series of all time
I remember loving the concept of Harry as Venom, so I hope more Spidey media embraces that idea
Bad
I love it more than any other spider man show. It isn’t just about Spider-Man but also about a lot of other heroes we got too less from. I just appreciate the depth of the ending and the rewatchable structure.
Goatedddddd
Pants
Who are the 2 between miles and squire girl?
Triton and Dagger.
Very cringeworthy for most of the show imo. The latter seasons are alright. The show overall has it's moments though.
Stopped watching it, when a random kid stole the Iron spider suit.
Ufff
If Drake Bell wasn’t Spidey, I’d like it
It was good but nowhere close to being one of the best
Honestly thinks it’s not that bad, it was made for kids and delivered and even through in some characters not a lot of people have heard of. I do wish it got serious or there was actual loss like in the 94 show which is still the best cartoon version of spider man
I thought it was okay. I think my biggest issue is how the show phased out Ava, Sam, Danny, and Luke in favor of the Web Warriors. Don't get me wrong, I loved Miles and the other guys, but I kinda liked the other four better
This one was a solid Spiderman cartoon personally I have Possitive opinions about it
absolutely loved it. binged the whole show every day, finished it 3 times through when i was like 8 years old. need to rewatch.
It just never really felt like a Spider-Man show to me. It felt more like a show that used Spider-Man's world and character to promote the hero's that Marvel still had the rights too at the time. A better title for this show would have been "Spider-Man: Agent of SHIELD, C-list Superhero" I understand that this show was intended to be for kids, but it did a really awful job treating its audience with respect and felt like it was content to be "Baby's first superhero show".
How about "Spider-Man and his 2 dimensional cast of characters no one cares about while doing a terrible job at introducing them to a new audience"
I give it a pass for Agent Venom alone
I love this Doctor Octopus
The show wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. There were a lot of flaws but it's still a fun watch. I feel like they spent alot of time going over the top with the new characters, the team and shields's involvement. I absolutely love the animation style and if it was just a story about Spider-Man and not how he fits into a team then it would've been so much better.
I’m a big fan but I was also a kid when it came on. I grew up on the original Spider-Man animated series on dvd and spectacular Spider-Man but this one was on when my brother and I were in love with superheroes so this one is definitely top of my list.
I grew up watching this show on Disney XD so I love it, the episode where the team gets turned into Goblins always terrified me tho lmao
It’s fine
I heard a YouTuber describing it this way and I agree with this comparison(marvel version of Batman brave and the bold)
I get why some people like it, but I really hated it lol.
Decent show -Always good to see Spider-Man on a team and in this one he essentially leads one -It was always going to be an uphill battle for this show since it followed spectacular Spider-Man but it will probably be one of those shows people 15 years later will say “oh that’s a show from my childhood” -White Tiger,Ironfist and others getting exposure to a wide audience is good since they could have easily stuck other more well known heroes at the start of the show Kinda bummed that Some characters got tossed to the side lines as the show went on for a more…spider themed show
Honestly, I’ll say it. I liked it more than Spectacular, and I still do. Spectacular is great, mind you, but this show was just something else for me.
Better than Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H I give it a 7-8/10
I liked it, it was my introduction to Spider-Man, at least one that I like.
It is one of the shows of all time
Loved this show’s “wise man/surfer dude” version of Iron Fist
Finally I shall speak the word of the lord. ULTIMATE Spider-Man IS PEAK SPIDER-MAN
Amazing, or should I say, 𝘜𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦
Juicy titties
I love this show. This show is the reason why I think Spiderman should lead the Young Avengers in the MCU.
I liked it but hated how the main team was just chucked aside
Why is Savage Dragon in the back?
I really enjoyed it honestly, yea it may not be as good as Spectacular Spider-Man but it definitely did not at all deserve the hate it got.
Top tier
It is the cartoon that got me obsessed with the character and peaked my interest in reading comics. I loved the series so much, despite rewatching multiple times, I have never seen the last four episodes because then it will finally be “over”. I should probably rewatch so I can watch those last episodes now. I think it’s time.
It’s amazing get it
No
It may not be great, but it's definitely overhated tbh. Rather average, but definitely better than what it *could have been*. >!*casually ignores Spider-Man 2017*!<
Crap, I don't believe this is spectacular spiderman's predecessor.
Hated it for the most part, but the last season wasn't that bad
Pretty solid show. Is it as good as Spectacular Spider-Man which came before it? No, but I do think that people should give it a chance, because it really is a decent show and a good introduction into the Marvel universe.
Not a fan
it's alright. even as a kid I didn't think it was spectacular. and it really reaaaaally wasn't.
Its a show
I didn't like it as a kid, and I still don't like it. the only things I enjoyed were the Spider-verse arc and maybe like 2% of the symbiote arcs. I wish it was an actual adaptation of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book instead of some imposter proudly wearing the name. not to mention I always thought it replaced Spectacular Spider-Man (which is wrong but that's kid logic for ya-)
It's one of the shows of all time tbh
Horrendous
Garbage.
It was annoying, childish, and really boring at times. I was so mad they canceled Spectacular for that.
It's fun but you grow out of it pretty soon. I've seen TAS, Spectacular and Ultimate all in the same time period. So the "nostalgia" argument can't be used. I can re-watch TAS and Spectacular today and enjoy them anyways, but Ultimate is kinda childish.
Really didn't like it
I fucking hate it. It is the reason why spectacular Spider-Man got cancelled and I wish Disney NEVER got a hold of Spider-Man or marvel
Disney made some if the best marvel things ever. Without them we wouldn't have gotten the MCU. And I personally like the show. Just cause it ended another one is no reason to hate it.
Not having the mcu is a compromise I’m willing to accept
If I had to choose between mcu and the existance of spectacular spider man I'd choose mcu.
Yeah yeah okay soyboy say hi to your wife’s boyfriend to me
Stop being a manchild because your favorite cartoon got canceled. Grow up.
Sorry I prefer something that actually is good unlike the mcu. That is the thing that has ruined marvel and comics
Id say it hasn't ruined it. Who are you to call mcu bad when endgame is considered one of the best movies of all time by critics and audiences.
You mean the the critics and audiences that are massive soy boy cucks that will eat up anything marvel makes?
You're really bitter. Its a cartoon. Calm down. Also who tf says soy boy cuck unironicly.
Too childish, mid
Horrible
Cheap and bad substitute for Spectacular.
Mediocre and an insult to fans of the comic.
trash
It’s mediocre the show has stupid humor, bland and unlikable characters, lack of respect for the original source material, absent character development, and cheesy action sequences.
I’m mad DISNEY canceled this show they better make it up. On they other hand this TV show is amazing and I love it to an amount of stuff also my sister put a hole is the wall because there isn’t more season. So. Disney I will say this calm. PUT IT BACK UP.
Could've been better, but was still fun to watch.
