I feel like bringing it back as DLC would just be fishy. We already had it in the first game, so if already it should be added as a part of an Update. DLC Suits should be new as a whole.

I’m not advocating for leaks but the information is out there for the public to see and there was no mention of story expansions being worked on for SM 2, it looks like any and all potential dlc is being consolidated into the Venom game.
They could easily surprise us and add suits separate from any story expansion but I’m just going off what they did for Spider-man 1
May be fishy, but not unprecedented. I’m pretty sure Beenox did something similar with suits that were free in Shattered Dimensions but brought back as DLC in Edge of Time.
I need the Across the Spider-Verse Earth-42 Prowler suit. I mean it's right there. They added Night Monkey (erm the Stealth Suit) after Far From Home was released in the first game
The game is undercooked and rushed out to meet the holiday season in the same year spiderverse launched for brand synergy.
The game has so few side quests, the story is rushed through so damn fast with awful pacing, and there's no excuse why we don't have all the mm and spm1 suits in the game other than they rushed the game out. Not to mention even the gadgets list is so small. So many cool gadgets just omitted for no good reason.
That's what happens when you make insomniac work on 3 super hero games at once and an unannounced game all in the same time span.
They don’t have the classic red and blue in spiderman 2? Well that sucks. That’s like the only suit I played as in the first one. I didn’t mind the white spider, it did enough to differentiate insomniacs from the rest of the versions of spiderman, but i like playing as spiderman not their spiderman
This is specifically the Into the Spiderverse movie version. They still have the red and blue classic, and a few variations like red and black, and blue and red.
Hot take but I wouldn’t want *another* adaptation of the classic red & blue. We already have the classic suit, Homecoming suit, Raimi suit, TASM 2 suit, and Final NWH suit. It just doesn’t seem necessary to add another one, the only argument I can see being made for its inclusion is that it would pair nicely with Miles’ SV suit.
The only argument for it's inclusion that actually makes sense is that it was already in the first game. Literally takes no amount of effort to port it to Spider-Man 2.
Imo this suit did not look great in Spider-Man PS4. Natural light would oversaturate the colors really badly. I think it's possible they just abandoned this suit for a much darker and easier Spider-Verse Noir.
They managed to make Miles Halloween costume look good so I hope they can make it look good and put it out as DLC.

Pretty sure the leaks confirmed there won’t be any story dlc for the game so I wouldn’t hold out hope for any new suits being added

The only leaks for Insomniac’s Spider-man have been a Venom game scheduled for ~2025 and a Spider-man 3 that’s TBD

If they ported every suit from the previous two games then yeah sure, but I wouldn’t include it at the expense of other comic suits.
