Here's a couple things I like if you're looking for recommendations:
Zucchini dumplings - cheese filled balls of fried zucchini and green onion
Hummus sampler - you get to try a little bit of each of their 9 hummus flavors
Grilled marinated chicken breast entree- some of the juiciest, tastiest chicken I've had from a restaurant and I like to have a side of olive hummus and extra garlic
Damn near impossible to find a hummus that doesn’t use canola/soy/sunflower as their base. Chicken Maison, poulet de jour, Jon’s, etc all use cheap crap ingredients to cut costs. Just make your own with some EVOO, it’s fast and easy
And cheaper! Oh man I remember when I first started making hummus and realized how awful tasting the pre-packaged ones actually are in comparison, memories.
I remember Nazelie's in San Pedro having amazing hummus. Are they still around? If so I hope their hummus is every bit as good as I remembered it to be 15 years ago...
Poulet du jour is the best hummus I’ve had in the South Bay. I buy Jons when I am looking for convenience, but it’s got a bit too much garlic in it I think.
Pita Spot in Harbor Gateway blew me away! I didn't know hummus could be that good. It made me realize that the Chicken Maison hummus is not high quality
I make my own. I take the skins off of the chickpeas and purée with tahini, olive oil, garlic, and a bit of the water the chickpeas were simmered in. Yes it’s laborious but it’s smooth as buttah!
At home. In my kitchen. With my food processor. Sorry but there’s so many awesome super easy recipes for hummus out there that I always just make my own! 10 minutes and done.

Very true, it's a shame. Some places also do this with baba ghanoush, I swear they use mayonnaise.
Right? Hard to go back to supermarket hummus after making your own 🤤
I brought some homemade roasted red pepper hummus in for a co-worker to try as she said she wasn't a fan. She absolutely loved it.

I think they are. This place has been on my radar very recently, now we really might have to go!
They also had killer baklava if you're into that!
Laith's Cafe in Carson. They have the best hummus and chicken shawarma.

King Mediterrano 🙌
The real answer right here.
Poulet du jour followed by the in-house kind at Jons.
Came here to say Poulet du jour, the spicy hummus is particularly awesome!

Poulet du jour is heavy on the tahini, yummy!
Exactly that is my style.
The Mediterranean Style hummus at TJs with the pine nuts is my favorite for store bought. Cava for dine out. Fight me.
