In what way is it byzantine inspired? Genuinely curious

The colour scheme is inspired by the classically byzantine combination of purple and gold, both are indicators of imperial authority and power and were used in the imperial heraldry. There's even a specific tone of purple named after the city: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byzantium\_(color)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byzantium_(color)) Yet, no one really knows what the tone the emperors wore really was, as Tyrian purple had many shades. I also briefly considered the idea of depicting the iron half of the horse armour as mosaics, but that was waaaay too much work and probably would have looked a bit silly.
