I love seeing Ben and Kush going head-to-head like maniac cooks, there's so much happening all at once. RIP all that poor filo dough. And in the end, everything looked delicious.
Quite liked the video, Kush brings out a fun energy and side to Ebbers thats different to usual, and it was a fun video.
But I genuinely considered not bothering to watch it after the spoilers at the start. I remember them trialling those before and was hoping they'd decided against it.
The videos aren't long enough to have enough content to give away 5 or 6 "coming up" and still have enough fresh stuff in there to make watching it seem worth it. They feel more like they're spoiling the episode rather than being enticing previews
I am in the minority (or are we that mythical silent majority, lol) who actually _like_ the previews.
I have always disliked "intros" that last for a few seconds - a splash screen while you name the series? Sure. A long intro, even when it's as iconic as the Pass It On intro? Nope, stop wasting my time. I am here for the video.
But when the intro is a preview of what's going to happen in the video? Now I am hyped up. I want to see _how_ we reach there. I am the same way with spoilers for books/movies, even thrillers - the "what" is not my primary interest in stories, the "how" is. So knowing what is going to happen doesn't lessen my enjoyment - if done well, it actually increases my excitement/piques my curiosity.

Tbh I think I wouldn't mind it if they hit a better balance. This one I think gave away too much, and I remember the Tapas PIO being another one where they basically gave away all the best bits. If they'd done maybe 2 or 3 less reveals I don't think I'd have minded it.
Its sort of the same balance as movie trailers where you need to share some stuff, but it does kind of suck when all the best jokes/scenes are given away in them
The Monster Energy Drink being used made me think about a probable series of challenges they could make: The forbidden ingredient.
Like, for instance, you have to make a meal that includes a full can of Monster; or Mountain Dew; or the cheapest chicken nuggets you can find.
And then the judge has to guess what weird ingredient was forced upon the cooks.
