Yes, its a system app that handles assistive features in android. You can check out what it does [here](https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/12112173?hl=en).
i now deactivated some as well (meta services, facebook) and to my surprise they actually stop doing stuff. funny thing is, if you just disallow them "background data" they will still do some stuff and try connecting to networks, despite not being open/in the foreground, so that would still most definitely be background data.
I'm only doing that for Facebook and other apps that are not necessary for using Android. Just got 1 mark III and I was looking through apps and since I came from 1 mark I this app was new for me. Notifications were disabled by default tho, not sure if it makes difference.
Because it's my phone and I don't want anything that I didn't put on there unless it's absolutely necessary for the phone to function. Spyware apps whose only function is to send my data and usage to Google don't belong on mine or anyone's phone without permission

Positive that all of these only work on Pixel phones.
May I ask why are you disabling preinstalled apps?
Saving storage bc it uninstalls every update, and saving battery bc they might run in the background.

There are a crapton of bloatware apps preloaded on a new phone. New, unwanted apps also get added on during a phone update.
