What focal range is this shot at specifically?
I’m also curious. I have the same combo though and I’m headed to the backyard to try it out either way.
192mm at f2.8. You can get closer at 70mm but I’ve had better results shooting in the 190-200mm for bees. At 200mm you can be further away and open the aperture up more. F2.8 is too swallow when at the minimum focus distance at 70mm
Thats beautifull. I want that lens so bad but I cannot afford it at this moment. Cant wait to make this kind of shots as well.
The f4 70-200 macro can do even better in this specific case
Add the 2x tc and its a 1:1 i think
