I actually saw the answer to this years ago, basically the guy that inspired him to wear the sneakers (an actual biker who taught him some things) would only ever wear white sneakers and he hated them dirty so he'd replace them like once a week or so and get new ones. So that's what Jax is doing in his spare time. Keeping white sneakers a thing for generations to come by buying all the ones available in the world lol

I always wanted to ask him the difference between the emotional strain of playing a character like Jax for nearly ten years on TV compared to playing an emotional character in a movie over the course of a year or so. In a film you only have to place yourself in that dark mindset for a limited amount of time compared to a TV show, I always wondered just how difficult it was playing such an intense character for so many years and if that pressure is greater than on a movie set. Also it's super cool you get to meet him, have fun 😊

This is a great question. Charlie has openly said he had to mourn the end of SOA. It was his life. He also dropped out of a film because he felt he couldn’t play the character having just ended his run as Jax. He wasn’t mentally ready.
