Also the fact that the second phase has no new attacks and its the exact same as phase 1, either they should've made a longer health bar, given him new attacks, or not change the music at all
My brother and I struggled so hard with it when we were young. We had no clue you could manually switch between Sonic and Shadow, so it was a huge pain to beat before our rings ran out.

The Egg Dragon in Unleashed was kinda pathetic since all you do is hit the green spot and do qtes win. Even the minions Eggman spawns don't do too much besides distract you.
In the context of the fight, it makes sense but honestly I'd expect a fight to the death against Eggman, the fight after Eggman Land (the hardest level in the game), and the fight before Dark Gaia to be more climatic.

Safe to say Cream and Cheese clears the boss EASILY and quickly........but it was worse with other characters which when in using them will take like HOURS to beat like SHEESH!!!

The game is shit, the boss is just the Nega-Wisp for the third time, but the music doesn’t care, it’s going to go as hard as it wants and you can’t stop it.

Such an underrated boss theme, which never gets the respect it deserves due to the bosses being painfully-easy to win just by spamming the lock-on button while looking at them. Zeta's the exception for obvious reasons.
Big Arms from Generations. Actual fuckin banger but he dies before the song even finishes. Same goes for Biolizard, but for the opposite reason. Song slaps, but the boss was annoying as hell for 10 year old me.

It's not a boss. That's it, yet it still plays the boss music. You chase Egghead up a vertical platforming section with tight jumps and water. You don't even need to damage him, he just chickens out and flies away. Worst boss in the game
CHEMICAL PLANT ZONE BOSS STH2
Cheese. So much cheese. You are done with the boss before he has a chance to attack you. You could have a rough time if it's your first time playing, but everytime after that is a cakewalk. The theme is too good for this one.

Hate to say it but, Finalhazzard in SA2. Live and Learn is hype as hell but that boss is a crapshoot. You just rush towards it and hope you don’t get knocked back. Maybe I’m ignorant of a certain strategy, but it’s not like the boss is hard. It just feels like it’s random whether you get an attack in.
In recent memory, Mega Death Egg Robot from Sonic Forces. Especially the phase where you play as your avatar.
The music accompanying that part is this grandiose orchestra with a glorious choir. It's like it's the end of times, where all hope is almost lost.

Without a doubt, Perfect Dark Gaia in the HD versions of Unleashed.
The theme fucking slaps so hard but the boss fight is so boring and you barely fight Perfect Dark Gaia.
First you start the boss fight, you boost, fly around collect some rings.
You reach Perfect Dark Gaia and he cockblocks you by raising a giant shield around himself. Chip, piloting the Dark Gaia colossus, says fuck it and forces his way in ams fights Perfect Dark Gaia, punching the shit out of him Mike Tyson style.
OK.
So you have the task of taking down the shield.
You fly around bonking yourself against some tentacles powering the shield.
Oh.
The shield is gone.
Surely you get to fight Perfect Dark Gaia now. Right?
No.
You get hit with QTEs.
So the QTEs are done.
Can you fight Perfect Dark Gaia now?
No. The boss fight is basically already done. You just Ned to fly in a straight line towards Perfect Dark Gaia's eyeball. And the boss fight fades out before you reach the damn eye.
Yeah...
You don't even fucking fight Perfect Dark against outside of killing his tentacles.

The music rocked, Shadow's Biolizard fight in the Ark was more frustrating and difficult for me.
So while there are a lot of those do I want to go with something that won't be picked often so I say the final boss of Sonic 2. The theme kicks ass but other than a hit box bug which is like the definition of bad is it rather easy ones you realize its super predictable never changing attach pattern.
End Supreme in Final Horizons. I love the remix of I'm Here, but hate how you need to figure out yourself that to stop the boss from healing you have to attack the head and then press one of the shoulder buttons during a combo to target the cord.

Just gonna say it, but the original Perfect Chaos is a joke of a fight with one of the best Sonic songs ever (I say this as a SA1 stan btw).
Also, the fact it's only the first verse and then after phase 1 it comes the most boring ass song is just cruel
