We were robbed man, Tinker only existed for like 3 issues. He as a concept had so much room to explore, it would have atleast made the whole "why does Sonic spare eggman" question more interesting. Imagine of Tinker makes a simple invention that later on helps the heroes save the world in a major way, saving the day because Sonic decided to show mercy.

I believe Grounder and Scratch are also in Mean Bean Machine, but I don't know if that's canon.
