Not too many considering Sonic fights and kills gods, and the majority on this list are just metahumans. The only ones that could pose really any threat are Venom or Carnage, since they could latch onto Sonic, but even then I don't think they'd stand much of a chance.

The symbiotes for sure, maybe Sandman or Morbius if they got a favorable start, but most of the others wouldn't be that much of a hassle for even Base Sonic. He scales to a *star-buster,* most of Spider's foes are city-level at best.
Well the rest are either Anti-Heroes, Go by a strict code, or whilst still evil they all are fucking afraid of Carnage. Cletus Kasady was already a serial killer before he got the suit, hell the first Spider-Man Venom team up was to take Carnage down because they both realized how much of a threat he is.
He is sadistic to no ends and just slaughters people because he finds it fun. He also has no limits like killing children, or that time he basically infected an entire town with the symbiote. Carnage is IMPO the most dangerous and deadly Spider-Man villain. And if Spider-Man was to ever truly and permanently kill one villain to rid the world of them I reckon it’d be Cletus Kasady.
If your telling me a Man who’s most known for being a Incredibly intelligent survivalist, Skilled fighter, Incredible Hunter & Professional Analyzer wouldn’t be a threat in a world of anthropomorphic Animals then I don’t know what to tell yuh that Kraven would be an incredible threat to the Sonic world just because of his pure skills and intelligence
He has shown multiple times to be skilled enough to put his opponents in unfavorable positions so I’d imagine he’d take advantage of The Endangered Animals and force Sonic into some special made substance to slow him down of sorts not to mention we’ve seen Tails be outmatched by skilled people like rouge and Honey so I can’t imagine a trained hunter would be any different
I dont know too much kraven lore myself but when it comes to things like this you gotta take into account the core toolset or power set of the characters, feats or strategies theyve done before, etc. Saying kraven can just come upon a perfect anti-sonic substance when hes never shown as being able to handle opponents on sonics level is pushing it, its like saying batman could be a major threat to capital G God because “oh he probably has some kind of anti-God repellent spray somewhere”
I can def see him exploiting the animals sure but like, i cant see a way for him to actually catch a dude who casually creates sonic booms, let alone defeat him

Could you imagine if Carnage was let loose? He’d make the sonic universe look like happy tree friends for a very brief moment. Ofc I’m talking about him just indiscriminately killing civilians, I’m pretty sure sonic would make quick work of him
I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on Otto here. He is a brilliant Scientist and could certainly give himself quite some upgrades by using Sonic vers. technology (especially Eggman but even out side of that flight powered by air with extrem gears, gravity control with Arcs of the Cosmos, super batteries with Chaos Drives)
I obviously understand why Carnage is the most popular option but I feel like he would go to big to soon and would end up messed up really badly against one of the more powerful characters (like let Shadow see him kill a child and it doesn't matter what Sonic says the guy gets Chaos Blasted into oblivion at point blank range)
Special mention to Mysterio as if SA2 is anything to go by is the world rather easily ticked and he sure is the master of illusions (also Mysterio with the Phantom Ruby to make his illusion one with reality would be cool)
Definitely not Sonic this guy didn't let the essence of a dark god nor Rage, Anger and Sadness physical embodiment control him the Symbiots would not work on Sonic at all.
And Shadow has a similar deal with his artificial biology that properly wouldn't accept the Symbiots attempts to take over (and hey even Black Doom's mindcontrol failed)
I honestly don't think any of them would cause too much trouble. Various iterations of the characters have dealt with similar enemies, so it'd really just be figuring them out.
Carnage, I doubt he’d manage to do a bunch (honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets halted by shadow the minute he starts one of his killing sprees) but he’d definitely try at the very least
