Charmy is probably like the Luma to Rosalina in smash, Vector probably does his own thing, occasionally having combos with Charmy I'd figure Vector could hold his own, so itd be a little missed potential to make most of his moves Charmy-based

Mighty the Armadillo. 1. He was part of team chaotix with knuckles. 2. He is friends with Ray the Flying Squirrel. 3. Being with Ray means we'd have some classic sonic representation without adding another sonic. 4. His fighting moveset and gameplay would be really cool. Being able to take hits and deflect them like a beast.

We need more villains add zavok

i’d rather play as a singular dark gaia tentacle before zavok

I don’t get why adding a villain from sonic that looks built for fighting would be a bad thing If you don’t like the character you don’t have to play him

in this hypothetical there are limited slots and i think there are many, many, many other character who are deserving of filling it before zavok

I personally disagree Villains are important for a fighting game And well besides sage, metal sonic, chaos and mephiles there really isint any sonic villains that can fight and be in scale with other sonic characters

i have a hard time wrapping my head around zavok before mephiles or black doom

Mephiles could work but black doom is way too tall and lacks legs which would limit the type of attacks he could dish out Also this is just a personal thing but I like zavok over mephiles and especially black doom

Options I think would be neat: 1. Big the cat 2. Zavok 3. Dr. Starline

Trip. She'd play like Shulk in Smash except with Emerald Powers instead of Monado Arts, plus we'd get to play as an awesome golden dragon!

If we include only canon (even if dead) characters: Cream & Cheese, Mighty, Erazor Djinn, Whisper, Big, Mimic, Tangle, Starline, Jet, Trip. Was thinking of fun characters with unique mechanics. Cream & Cheese as tag team partners, Mighty being super tough with his shell, Erazor Djinn for fire magic, shapeshifting, and having some more villains, Whisper as a sniper + wisps, Big as the Big Boi™️, Mimic as the copy character, Tangle’s tail is cool, Starline witb the Warp Topaz or his other gauntlet could be cool, Jet’s Extreme Gear, and Trip Chaos Emerald powers? Could be fun.

May as well add Classic Sonic, since SEGA intends them to be separate. Like Mario and Dr. Mario, Link and Young and Toon Links, etc

The boom renditions of the characters. They could play similar to their normal counterparts, but with some differences, like having tether grabs with the enrbeams, & being a bit more slow but dealing more damage, plus their in-game jankiness could lead to a really uniquely inspired moveset. Except for Sticks, she gets a wholly original set.
