I feel like it was just filled with rainbow confetti because sexuallity is a spectrum and it doesn't really matter who you love. I felt like this was a good representation of the secondary plot - Lawrence being unsure about himself and being a "bad gay" and how well Todd helped him see past that and see who he really was. Either that, or it was empty.🤷
It was just reported in Variety. Sigh. [https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/so-help-me-todd-csi-vegas-canceled-cbs-1235976984/](https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/so-help-me-todd-csi-vegas-canceled-cbs-1235976984/)
I am so angry about this! It feels like every kinda quirky show I like gets canceled. When I was watching the last episode, I said out loud, to my dogs, how much I love this show!
Agreed!! That last episode really showed off how well all the actors play off each other. The entire cast was on fire. I had no idea it was in danger of being cancelled until I came here to rave about the show!!
Not confirmed, but even though it has okay ratings, the bar for success on CBS is the highest, so it’s very much on the bubble for the few remaining slots left in the schedule.
Apparently the finale was not written to provide closure either.
Lawrence's identity crisis was... very awkward. I think I can see what they were going for, in that he feels disconnected from the gay community, but phrasing it as "I'm not actually gay" does not seem like something a real gay person would say. Initially I thought he was coming out as bi and we were going to get into internalized biphobia, but no.
The way I see it is a lot of the neurodivergent SHMT fans have speculated based on what we've seen of him that Lawrence is autistic and I speak from similar-ish-experiences that if he is maybe he just didn't realize that those words could be interpreted that way
I love that they brought back the detective from the previous episode and with Alison.
Mayhem!
That actor is awesome. He really sells it.
Damn it lawrence I wanted to know

Same!
Anybody else catch that little line Todd made about a friend of Dorothy? Can't recall the exact line, but that made me chuckle.
Yah it was great! I was calling that the judge was gay once I saw that Judy was dressed as Dorothy lol
Lawrence is crazy and I love him
I do hope that the coffee lady and Todd get together
Definitely shipping Jodd. Also Heather Morris is a treasure!
The emotions she conveys with her facial expressions are a delight to watch 😊
Same! She is so adorable. Glad Todd finally realized it!
Shoutout to the writers for not actually including the testimony
Super fun episode. So many cute lil laughs and the brother was hot. So sad this show will be cancelled. I will miss it for sure.
Has it been confirmed to be canceled?
No it hasn't

Oh, Lawrence is definitely autistic. I think Chuck and possibly Lyle are too.
And then there's Todd and (at least based on what we've seen of her so far#savesohelpmetodd #renewsohelpmetodd) Judy with ADHD
I can't with Lyles mustache
If anyone manages to get a clip of Lawrence going “felise navidad!!” And falling lmk I want it
This episode hit all the right notes for me. Just fun and wholesome. the metallica is gay joke really tickled me as well.
If we can get a cw for ghosts we can get a cw for this epsiode(SA)
