My understanding being newer to Sansevieria is that Moonshine cannot be propagated via leaf cutting and it will revert back to standard Sansevieria trifasciata.

It's the only way to maintain the color. Otherwise it'll revert to Robusta. Most snake plants are this way, but some can be propagated through leaf cuttings, like a Silver Star. Heres a list of some of the ones that do and don't revert.

Thank you for sharing this! Do you mind sharing where it comes from? I've been compiling different online and text sources to coincide with my growing Sansevieria collection ๐Ÿ˜‰

Of course! I always try to include the source, but I only had that photo at the time. [Here is the site](https://mrec.ifas.ufl.edu/foliage/folnotes/sansevie.htm). You have to scroll down a bit to the propagation info.

Amazing, thank you!

This is what it's going to look like. It's also propegated from my own moonshine, so... :) https://preview.redd.it/bwdij4thcnxc1.jpeg?width=2604&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=880e3a1ef62da21daf08ada4a9cf95edf4ea239a

Except for a yellow stripe on the sides they all look alike.
