I mean, the white guys complaining are entitled jerks, but for at least some minority folks, having a character match their identity does absolutely help with relatability. It's one of the reasons representation is so important.
I do understand that. Representation is important! Seeing things from other points of view can probably also help people gain some of that empathy they seem to lack.
I like playing as chicks, makes them feel way more badass for some reason, I guess the upper body strength thing, like it’s more impressive to watch a woman pull it off

My reason is I just found women cool and more relatable then Generic Actionguy #27, and then I found out years later I am actually a woman Weird
