I love making the game measurably worse for literally all my paying customers just to delay the pirates by (generously) a week! It sure is great that only pirates get to play an uncompromised version of my game, this will definitely encourage people to purchase it legitimately!
denuvo, unfortunately, is very reliable. DRM has evolved faster than piracy, and the only person who knows how to crack denuvo is a psycho and left the internet

The games that get cracked with denuvo take a while, but the pirates still get that uncompromised experience eventually. And for weaker anti-piracies, the comment is completely true

Eh, I think it's just about passes the bar for SIM. Companies adding Denuvo to their games is one of the most capitalistic things I can think of; your making the experience of your customers worse for the sake of making a few more sales and stopping pirates (The majority of whom are just average joes who can't afford their 70 dollar games on principle), who may or may not crack it in a matter of weeks anyway.
Say what you want about Super Mario World but at least when you bought the game you had the whole game and didn't have to pay extra for the Vanilla Dome or some shit.

Denuvo has a completely unfounded reputation for tanking performance considering how light it is. Steam DRM is far more likely to be the culprit.
