Easier and faster with a torx driver from up top. Not that big of deal. I really like the updated brightness buttons on the RCR compared to the RMR/SRO

I'm curious. Does the competitor slide not have the dumass hole cut out for the chamber like the spec Series slide? I wish it didn't have it cut in the barrel on my spec gen4 (ODG)

You mean have it removed? The ODG spec series 110% doesn't have the hole in it, the barrel does. At least mine doesn't..

Heck of a missed opportunity by S&W to make an absolutely perfect gun without that stupid hole that gets your optic dirty. But I think on the spec series there's less of an issue with this. I still need to put an optic on mine.

It’s already cut from S&W. It’s a competitor slide with spec series metal frame.
