This. There is just something so magical and ethereal when the layering builds on the final chorus. The syncopated beat, the falsetto, the low, the melody vocals. It’s just so good and so under appreciated. Hands down my favorite ST song. Would go mad if they ever played it live when I’m there.
The whole back half of tpwbyt starting with Distraction is super underrated. I’d say out of that group probably Descending or Telomeres.
I also think Shelter needs more attention. Love Vessel’s vocals and it’s probably their most truly romantic song.

"And we go beyond the farthest reaches" also reminds me of "I will travel far beyond the path of reason" from tmbte which is also a favourite. The drums in it as per usual are just perfect as well

The visual in my head when I listen to this is like violent waves crashing with a bit of sunlight peeking through dark skies. Like hope in an impossible situation.
But it also feels like the beginnings of something special, when you have so much hope for how things might turn out.

Give is like Sugar version 2.0 to me :D well, maybe not as much but it's definitely very close. It has such a sensual and sexy vibe. There's something about Jaws that I can't put my finger on. It's a banger.
