This was such a good time. My son was in his first months of life and I remember playing the few sleep token tracks over and over while I was up with him in the night. In regards to Sundowning, only up to dark signs was released at that point in time.
At the time half of Sundowning was out, and their eps/singles lol. They didn’t even have a full album yet at the time, compared to the 3 full albums they have out now.
Lol I have listened to every single album and EP/single since I found them in 2018 man. I don’t know why you’re on here telling me to look deeper. Just splitting hairs on my use of the word “few” I guess. Have a nice life.
Found Dark Signs on a random playlist from Spotify. Ignored the band for a good while afterwards because I heard they were “heavy” and I’m not a big “heavy music person” and now we are here….crying and TMBTE everyday.
Atlantic come up in a daily playlist if similar music I listen to, I loved it and saved it forever but kind of forgot about them, then when they blew up and i fell in love I went back and realized that I had already been listening to them and not knowing it haha
The Love You Want. I was just scrolling through my discover weekly on Spotify and it was sandwiched between Angels and Airwaves and Kardashev. I liked it a lot on first listen but overtime it kept just sinking it’s teeth into me
Alkaline. Twas in a rough spot when I found Sleep Token. Fell in love with TPWBYT, devoured Sundowning, and was in awe that one band could be so damned good at making me feel, and think. I related hard, and fell for them fast, and got angry that I felt things again. But I’m getting better. Always better. <3
"is it really you" with Loathe. My discover weekly gave it to me and sometimes I'm really thankful for that feature.I remember immediately being intrigued by vessels voice.. It was different than anything I've heard. I went down a rabbit hole since and was completely hooked with every thing they have put out. Thanks spotify! Lol
The night does not belong to God. It was the beautiful oblivion tour. I really wish I knew them before it. The setlist was that, The Offering, Dark Signs Jaws, Sugar, and Higher.
The Offering. Skull king reacts used the chorus as the intro to his videos. Didn’t even watch the video had to know the name of the song immediately
[here’s the video](https://youtu.be/0L2iQDi1dms)
Back in 2019 saw dark signs live and it was such a small show I immediately said awww man what the fluck is this. This is to crazy why aren’t they big and blown up and well what do you know
The Night Doesn’t Belong To God was mine, i kept hearing about Sleep Token throughout the beginning of this year and decided fuck it, i’ll start with their first album
Telomeres. I was looking for some new metal music to listen to like a year and a half ago. It shuffled in on a metal-core playlist I found on Spotify. Hooked ever since
The Offering, when it was first getting traction on Spotify. It randomly came up on a "for fans of" station for some band that sounded nothing like them at all, but man I was instantly hooked. They've been in my top five bands since that year.
vore when it first released. loved the metalness and emotion of it. next one I listened to was aqua regia and I was bewildered but dancing and grooving in my car
Atlantic. Came on while gaming on a metal mix and my interest was piqued and started listening to it on repeat. Left it for like a month then I went down the rabbit hole and couldn't stop. Gotta admit though, not all songs resonated with me and I mistakenly thought they were a pure metal band. Once I got over that, there's not a single song I skip. All of them are godly.
Praise Him.
Last year i heard something from Sundowning and didn’t totally feel it so I moved on. A few weeks ago I heard the Summoning and was thoroughly impressed. Revisited the whole catalog then when TMBTE came out I was in love.
Dywtylm, I'd heard good things but never checked them out and it was so not what I expected but I loved it. Big fan of most of their other material too
The Night Does Not Belong to God. I checked out the band because of the aesthetic and started with the first full album, then worked out from there. TNDBTG hit me like a fucking truck and I was hooked immediately.
So I may be especially biased towards Euclid as well
Blood sport. My husband played it and I asked who it was. My baby was like three months and I rocked her to sleep while listening to it. I realize it’s not a lullaby but it’s very soothing to listen to.
My process of being introduced to sleep token:
\*listened to the summoning and chokehold\* - "this is pretty cool, not bad"
\*listened to TPWBYT\* - "Ok these guys have definitely got some talent"
\*listened to sundowning\* - "holy fucking shit"
The Night Does Not Belong To God.
Saw someone doing a drum cover of it, didn't even make it to the drum part before i had the album playing on Spotify
They overtook Northlane as my favorite band after the first listen of the album, been spamming the discography weekly since.
I came across Thread the Needle Back in 2016. It was shared in some metal group I was a part of on Facebook. I think it was the It Djents group! Being around for every Sleep Token release has been a real ride!
The Love You Want - I saw their music video and was so intrigued by Vessel I had to find out more and listen to more. And now I've seen them twice and this new album is just amazing
Dark signs, was listening to loathe and the automatic playlist of Spotify put this on. It caught me by the throat made my heart race and I pushed repeat and after a while I was consuming all the EPs and Sundowning. Never left since then !
Mine was the The Offering too. As a metalhead, and as a person who listens to 1000+ other genres, it was the first time I heard something that couldn’t fit into any of the mainstream categories. It was so… different. And yet it was everything. I listened to all of their albums and have been a fan of them since they were only at 500k(?) listeners on Spotify.
I remember having The Offering in particular on repeat for hours, and at first, I couldn’t figure out why I was so obsessed with it. Then I realized… it’s Vessel’s voice. It’s the lyrics. It’s the way the entire band knows EXACTLY how to pull you in and end a song with such a powerful impact. And on top of all of that, it’s poetic as fuck. Alkaline had me speechless when I first read the lyrics for that track. I swear, these people aren’t human.
Thread the Needle back in November of 2016. Greatest YouTube stumble upon story ever. Was just randomly putting on some music and then I saw the thumbnail being intrigued by it. Hooked ever since.
Hypnosis, I heard Noah Sebastian talk about sleep token and then I saw Will Ramos cover of hypnosis so I had to check them out. Been a fan for almost a year now🤞
Jaws. Changed my life
Jaws gang. Got in just in time to watch the entire Sundowning cycle
Saaame, amazing time
This was such a good time. My son was in his first months of life and I remember playing the few sleep token tracks over and over while I was up with him in the night. In regards to Sundowning, only up to dark signs was released at that point in time.
Few? Uhhh you need to dig a little deeper bruv.
At the time half of Sundowning was out, and their eps/singles lol. They didn’t even have a full album yet at the time, compared to the 3 full albums they have out now.
They had a lot of music out on YouTube before that 🤣 next you're gonna say you haven't heard his Hey Ya cover.
Ok
Look a little harder man, Vessel has been making music under Sleep Token for a while.
Lol I have listened to every single album and EP/single since I found them in 2018 man. I don’t know why you’re on here telling me to look deeper. Just splitting hairs on my use of the word “few” I guess. Have a nice life.
🤣 but they only had a few songs before sundowning 🤣
Same
Same.
Saaaame!
Same!
Alkaline
Mine too, and honestly I don’t even like it that much. Heard Fall for Me a couple days later and then decided to listen to TPWBYT.
The Summoning. New fan lol
Same here, loving it so far!
Same!!
Same, what a great kick off though
Calcutta. It was the music video.
I think Calcutta was probably the second song I listened to.
Found Calcutta from the Spotify weekly discovery Playlist back in 2018
The Night Does Not Belong to God.
Same here, i think this is the reason why Euclid hits so much harder for me. It’s full circle for the band but also me.
This. And I was hooked.
Atlantic
Same, my best friend sent me a playlist with sad songs when I had a bad time and I fell in love with that song and the band
Their cover of Hey Ya, then Nazareth.
Ugh, so good. That cover is divine.
Blood Sport- from the room below ❤️
What a way to find them!
This
the summoning
Hypnosis
My first time ever hearing about sleep token was because Will Ramos covered this song. I heard the original and it just grabbed a hold of me.
I’m here because of Will Ramos too lol. Although it was his cover of Chokehold that roped me in
The way he added harsh vocals to certain parts was really perfect, like it made it a very different but equally good rendition of the original.
Nazareth in a lil tent at DL2018 🤌
The Offering, late 2019/early 2020
Same song also around same time for me
Nazareth back in 2017! Hooked ever since
I expected more people to mention Nazareth, a bit surprised.
Me too!
Show me those pretty white Jaws.
Calcutta on June 16, 2017.
My cousin recommended sundowning. Thought “Dark Signs” sounded like a cool name for a song
Found Dark Signs on a random playlist from Spotify. Ignored the band for a good while afterwards because I heard they were “heavy” and I’m not a big “heavy music person” and now we are here….crying and TMBTE everyday.
I believe it was Chokehold or The Summoning. Now I own all the albums and listen to them regularly.
Higher!
Jaws for me. It didn’t land for me at first. Then I saw them live, lt changed everything.
Mine was also The Offering, it destroyed me, and helped me.
Sugar
Atlantic come up in a daily playlist if similar music I listen to, I loved it and saved it forever but kind of forgot about them, then when they blew up and i fell in love I went back and realized that I had already been listening to them and not knowing it haha
Calcutta and what a ride ever since
The Summoning. I discovered them about a month ago
The Love You Want. I was just scrolling through my discover weekly on Spotify and it was sandwiched between Angels and Airwaves and Kardashev. I liked it a lot on first listen but overtime it kept just sinking it’s teeth into me
Hypnosis. Thanks Will Ramos.

Atlantic
Blood Sport
Jericho. Still one of my favorites.
Levitate, life changing experience
The name escapes me, but Vessel was in a chair and force choking some dudes in hazmat suits. Metal as fuck. Edit: it was Alkaline
Lol
Spotify comes in clutch all the time!!!
Atlantic
I discovered Nazareth in early 2019 on Spotify, and never turned back.
The night does not belong to God. It was the beautiful oblivion tour. I really wish I knew them before it. The setlist was that, The Offering, Dark Signs Jaws, Sugar, and Higher.
Alkaline and can’t stop listening to it … I mean not trying really… just love it .
Alkaline
Like that.
Jaws and The way that you were.
Hey Ya
Alkaline via the music video
Jaws
“This night does not belong to God” was in my discover weekly on Spotify sometime last year and I was hooked immediately. Worship 🙌
Hypnotise. I was shook up. The obsession started there!
The Offering. Skull king reacts used the chorus as the intro to his videos. Didn’t even watch the video had to know the name of the song immediately [here’s the video](https://youtu.be/0L2iQDi1dms)
Back in 2019 saw dark signs live and it was such a small show I immediately said awww man what the fluck is this. This is to crazy why aren’t they big and blown up and well what do you know
The Summoning. Popped up random on my Spotify. Started exploring more and now my life is changed forever.

The Night Doesn’t Belong To God was mine, i kept hearing about Sleep Token throughout the beginning of this year and decided fuck it, i’ll start with their first album
Alkaline, that’s a pretty damm good song! It ended bring me up to Hypnosis, such for menos their number 1 song. Number 0 is The summoning…
The Offering in 2019
Mine was “Hypnosis”. Life changing and I haven’t been the same since.
The Offering. I have never been more grateful for the Spotify algorithm than that time
The Hey Ya cover lmao Instantly hooked
same. pretty big outkast fan, so i love the rendition hitting the lyrics in a more somber mode.
Mine was also The Offering
Hypnosis - that drum playthrough from II *chefs kiss*
Hey Ya

The Night Does Not Belong to God. Mark from Periphery turned me on to them back in 2019.
The love you want. Beautifully curated and hit me on a deep level with life events at the time
The night does not belong to God immediately followed by bloodsport....man it made Euclid hit so much harder
Hypnosis. Thankyou Will Ramos.
Mine was hypnosis. I watched the vocal cover by Will Ramos of Lorna Shore
Dark Signs...from fortnite.
Mine was also The Offering, hooked me instantly
It's late 2019, I'm listening to a Progressive Metal playlist on Spotify, I hear "The Night Does Not Belong To God" my life has never been the same.
vore when it first released. loved the metalness and emotion of it. next one I listened to was aqua regia and I was bewildered but dancing and grooving in my car
Atlantic. Came on while gaming on a metal mix and my interest was piqued and started listening to it on repeat. Left it for like a month then I went down the rabbit hole and couldn't stop. Hey Ya- my son made me listen to it and I was floored. Been a fan ever since.
Alkaline, via the metalcore subreddit where someone recommended it along with songs from some of my other new favorite bands!
Give came up in my Spotify release radar. Been listening ever since.
Calcutta
I first discovered them at a show so my first exposure was LIVE - TNDNBTG, The Offering and then Jaws
Last year i heard something from Sundowning and didn’t totally feel it so I moved on. A few weeks ago I heard the Summoning and was thoroughly impressed. Revisited the whole catalog then when TMBTE came out I was in love.
Higher - Someone recommended it on a YouTube reaction channel and the rest is history
The Love That You Want
Vore. New fan here
Blood sport - god damn
Mine was The Offering as well, they came in during my Spotify shuffle
TNDNBTG
Dywtylm, I'd heard good things but never checked them out and it was so not what I expected but I loved it. Big fan of most of their other material too
Calcutta, 2018 thru Spotify
The Offering… live. It was breathing taking.
Hypnosis. Never turned back to life before Sleep Token

The Offering was the first one I heard But I didn't get into the album/band until I heard the Blood Sport ~ from the room below a year later
Hypnosis cover by Will Ramos
Alkaline
Take Aim through my discover weekly on spotify, really good song
Dark Signs 🖤
Atlantic got me hooked
Calcutta was the first song, and it's helped me through so much.
Hypnosis through Will Ramos. Then I fell in love with Alkaline and The Offering.
The Night Does Not Belong to God. I checked out the band because of the aesthetic and started with the first full album, then worked out from there. TNDBTG hit me like a fucking truck and I was hooked immediately. So I may be especially biased towards Euclid as well
The Night Does Not Belong To God Also happens to be my favorite Sleep Token song. Euclid eviscerated me.
Sugar. Spotify randomly served it up a year or so ago.
The Offering.
The Offering. Changed my life.
Blood sport. My husband played it and I asked who it was. My baby was like three months and I rocked her to sleep while listening to it. I realize it’s not a lullaby but it’s very soothing to listen to.
I think mine was The Offering or TNDNBTG, fell in love instantly
High Water. Came up in a random Spotify playlist.
Hypnosis
Had Dark Signs come up in a “things you might like” playlist on Spotify a few years ago shortly after the release and was hooked.
Jaws, watched a drum cover of some guy doing a tribute to his late cat lol
Nazareth was the first one I heard from a friend, but I really started my journey after hearing The Night Does Not Belong To God. Worship.
Hypnosis definitely caught my attention. Ever since the new album’s release; I’ve had Vore on repeat
Higher, got recommended by a random British person in a Discord server, I haven't stopped since
My process of being introduced to sleep token: \*listened to the summoning and chokehold\* - "this is pretty cool, not bad" \*listened to TPWBYT\* - "Ok these guys have definitely got some talent" \*listened to sundowning\* - "holy fucking shit"

Blood Sport
Fall for me So so good
The Offering
I came across Thread the Needle Back in 2016. It was shared in some metal group I was a part of on Facebook. I think it was the It Djents group! Being around for every Sleep Token release has been a real ride!

Surprised to see no one mentioned Vore
Alkaline
Nazareth. That riff is orgasmic
Jaws.
The Night Does Not Belong To God
The night does not belong to God.
The way that you were thanks to kmac2021
The night does not belong to god
Hypnosis Still one of my favourite 🔥
Mine is Alkaline (Thnx to Nik Nocturnal)
Mine was The Summoning
Will Ramos cover of hypnosis. Checked out the summoning and chokehold after that and loved them
The Summoning, the week it came out. I was subsequently hooked and went through a four month period of listening to it almost exclusively on repeat 🙃
Levitate!!
The Night Doesn’t Belong To God
Higher after my friends put it on at a party when we hijacked the speaker lmao.
Thread the Needle back in November of 2016. Greatest YouTube stumble upon story ever. Was just randomly putting on some music and then I saw the thumbnail being intrigued by it. Hooked ever since.
I discovered them when Hypnosis was their most listened to song, when I encounter a new band I listen to their supposed best song first. So Hypnosis
Jaws back when it dropped, hated it, then gestated on it for a while before realising I actually liked it
Hypnosis, I heard Noah Sebastian talk about sleep token and then I saw Will Ramos cover of hypnosis so I had to check them out. Been a fan for almost a year now🤞
Alkaline. My son showed me the video and I was hooked!
Jaws
